Popular Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, condemns the claim of being behind the separation of Empress Njamah and Timaya.




This comes following allegations made by an Instagram blogger who tagged the mother of one as the culprit behind the dissolution of the relationship.

A young lady has revealed in an interview that she’d never forfeit school admission even if she’s offered the whooping sum of 2 million dollars.


The young lady had stated this When quizzed which she would prefer, an entrance to a higher education institution or $2 million.


The lady stated that going to school is far more important than the said sum.

According to her, going to school to acquire education equips one with the skills to be able to make that sum easily. But that when you miss the opportunity to go to school, you’ve missed it for life.

An Anglican priest has tackled women for being "artificial".




Speaking in Igbo from the pulpit, Right Reverend E.O. Ikeakor, said: "Of all the things on women's bodies, 90 per cent are artificial.





"Hair, artificial. Lashes, artificial. Finger nails, artificial. Toe nails, artificial. Butt, artificial. Boobs, artificial. Everything!"

Residents of over five communities along the Kontagora-Rijau road in Mariga and Rijau local government areas of Niger State have fled their homes following recent attacks carried out by bandits.



A video shared online shows men and women with their children in lorries and also on motorcycles as they fled with their belongings.





Over the weekend, the terrorists attacked Dusai village, which is a few kilometers away from Kontagora town on Sunday afternoon, February 6, while Kuimo, which is close to Rijau gown was attacked around 4 pm on the same day, allegedly killing over 44 persons including a blind.



The fear of more attacks from the bandits has caused the villagers to flee their homes.





One of the fleeing residents who gave her name as Fal’ai Danladi said as she was running, she fell several times and injured her fingers, however, she was helped to Rijau by a motorist.



Another fleeing resident from Warare community, Aliyu Bello said that he decided to run because he knew that if he were abducted, it won’t be easy on him. He said that all of them in the community have deserted the community due to fear of attack adding that while some found their way to Rijau, others ran into the bushes and rocks to hide.



Confirming the recent attack, the chairman of Rijau Local Government Council, Bello Bako, said he and his officials are working out ways to ensure that the fleeing residents get somewhere to stay.





The state government or the police is yet to comment on this recent development.

A Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Isaiah Wealth, has said that any woman who makes washing of dishes the duty of her husband has broken his honor.




While preaching in his church, the clergyman frowned at women who are against the doctrine that the man is the head of the home. He stressed that just as God is the head of the church, the man is the head of the home and that his wife must submit to him. 




''No Submission to any system or any person has crept into our homes. Husband and wife is the same, 50% 50% shares .Nobody isthe head.

God told us that the husband is the head of the house. Society is telling us that everybody is the same. In other words, husbands should wash the dishes and the wife should watch TV and it is acceptable. 

It is the right of the husband if he decides to sweep and wash the dishes if he wants to. You break honor when make it your husband's duty to wash the dishes. You have violated heaven. I don't care what they told you in the magazines. It is written, the husband is the head. When you violate your husband, you violate God'' he said

Footage shows the moment Rev. Fr. James Anelu, the Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ewu-Owa Gberigbe in Ikorodu, Lagos, banned Igbo songs in his parish.




Father Anelu has been suspended by the Catholic Archbishop of Lagos for banning Igbo songs in his parish. The suspension takes effect from today, February 8, 2022.





A video from the scene shows church members revolting shortly after Fr. Anelu announced the ban and this led to chaos in church.




The priest stood his ground and threatened members with the "wrath of God".





He told them that if he goes to Ekwulobia and starts speaking Yoruba, the people will stone him.




He then narrated an incident where he went for burial Mass in the South East and was initially denied a chance to say Mass because he can not speak Igbo.




He then asked why Igbos will be singing Igbo songs in a church in Lagos and questioned if the plan is to drive other tribes away from the church.

Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru, who is vying for the senatorial seat under Ogun Central Senatorial District of the APC, encountered difficulties during an interview and the awkward moment is going viral.

Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, has slammed Port Harcourt-based cleric, David Ibiyeomie, for cursing Yahoo boys. 




Recall that recently, Ibiyeomie while preaching in his church, prayed that Yahoo boys would have accidents with the cars they buy with the proceeds from their illicit activities. He also placed curses on police officers who release arrested Internet fraudsters. 


In a trending video, Apostle Kassy asked Ibiyeomie to stop cursing Yahoo boys. He stated that none of the curses placed on the Internet fraudsters would work. According to him, everywhere is peaceful and no cult clashes are recorded because the boys have something they are engaged in.

''Wetin concern you concern Yahoo people? Are they the problem of Nigeria? 

He should stop talking like that. That prayer will not work! You cannot curse Yahoo boys. At all! E dey forbid to curse politicians. Why e nor go curse politicians? Because na them dey him church. A young man has been nabbed stealing items from unsuspecting church goers in Lagos.




The suspect identified as Ebuka Iheanacho, told those interrogating him that he’s from Imo state. He also confirmed that his mother comes to the church “to beg”.




The items he stole were reportedly kept in a room in the church. He stole some phones and then hid a bag in a toilet in the building.


The church members interrogating him, said they will be taking him to the police station for documentation.

A Ghanaian man who was accused of defiling his step-daughter, has made quite a startling confession while on a live radio program. 




Appearing on Kumasi-based radio Nhyira FM after he was dragged to the station by his wife who leveled the allegation against him, the man said he never penetrated the girl but merely brushed the entrance or ‘tip’ of her private part.




Admitting that he ejaculated, the man stated that he withdrew his manhood and should not be held liable for any wrongdoing.

A petrol tanker exploded in Onitsha, Anambra state this morning, January 28.

According to residents, the accident was caused by bad portion of Obodo Ukwu junction in Onitsha.

Many shops and buildings around the scene are feared burnt as the fire from the explosion continues to expand.

The fire which started at 8.30am had caused a long standstill of vehicles in and out of Onitsha.

Fire service both from Anambra and Delta states have arrived the scene and are battling to quench the fire amid a shortage of water.

Port Harcourt-based clergyman, David Ibiyeomie, has laid a curse on internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo boys and police officers who work with them.



The clergyman who was preaching in his church recently, frowned at the works of the internet fraudsters. According to him, their activities have led to the death of some persons who they have scammed off all their retirement benefits.




''Let me tell us these Yahooboys. Stop! I am a man of God. You kill people everyday. When you Yahoo somebody, it is stealing. Don't quote it anyhow. It is stealing. Most people, all their retirement benefits, you take it and people die. I curse you in the name of Jesus.

It is a demonic, satanic way of getting money. Which kind of money is that? You are a thief. No matter how you colorise it, you are a thief. You love stealing! I curse the root of it. Do you know how many people you have killed? Scam kills people. Some peeople, the whole of their retirement benefit..You scam them and say you are buying car. What nonsense? You will get accident with that car!''




The clergyman also frowned at traditional rulers who bestow chieftaincy titles on internet fraudsters. He said such persons should be regarded as armed robbers.




He also laid curses on police officers who release arrested internet fraudsters after collecting bribes from them.

 ''And to the police, all the Yahoo boys, jail them, arrest them. If you take bribe from Yahoo boys, that money kill you! That blood money that you take will kill you. You know why? They stole from somebody who died. You now collect money and release them. You and your family die with it. Police stop taking that kind of money'' he said

Actress Mercy Aigbe has reacted to a controversy trailing her romance with her new man, Kazim Adeoti. 




The actress tried calling in during TVC’s Your View this morning but could not reach one of the show’s anchor, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, and so sent in a text.

Pastor Timilehin Adigun has responded to Juliana Oloyede after the actress called him out.




Juliana accused Timi Adigun of controlling her passwords and using them to impersonate her on Facebook. She alleged that he has refused to release her passwords to her and that he went on to unpublish her Facebook account.





Reacting, Pastor Timi said he created all Juliana's social media accounts, including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook for free as a father would.




He said he made sure to give Juliana all her passwords and he doesn't currently have her passwords.





He narrated how she left his church after he did something which he later apologized for, but she said she was unable to forgive him.




He went on to tell her that he initially held on to her Facebook account, hoping she will one day come back to him.




He admitted that he used her Facebook account to make a post but when she called him out on Instagram about it, he deleted it.





He went on to explain why he unpublished her Facebook account.




He further told her that he knows many of her secrets but won't reveal it to the world because he is her "father".




He also lashed Juliana for calling him by name when she came to his church to confront him about her password.




He told her that he raised her and she has no reason to call him by his name.





Timi Adigun was Juliana's spiritual father when she was a member of his ministry.




In 2020, Timi Adigun was accused by members of his ministry of sexually molesting girls in his car. He released a statement, admitting and apologising.




He has remained a Pastor and has continued running the church.

The lady who had an affair with gospel singer, Sammie Okposo has opened up on what transpired between them. 




The lady identified as African Doll in an interview on Obodo Oyibo TV prior to Sammie Okposo’s admittance of the affair on social media, disclosed that their affair lasted for several months and they had s3x several times without protection.
 




African Doll who neither admitted or denied knowing that the gospel singer is married, said she was overwhelmed by being in the presence of a celebrity she had been listening to.
 

Asides from narrating how Sammie Okposo reached out to her each time he came to the United States, screenshots of their chats were displayed at intervals during the interview.
 




Noting that she was willing to cover up for the singer, she said their issue began after she informed him that she’s pregnant. She said Sammie Okposo told her “she knows what to do,”  which was to get an abortion.
 

African Doll stated that after she told the singer that she can’t take such decision at that time, he flared up, disrespected her and accused her of trying to smear his reputation.
 

African Doll who also accused Sammie Okposo of trying to intimidate her, admitted that what they did was wrong and she has taken responsibility for that.
 

She further alleged that Sammie Okposo told her that no one will believe her and that he has lawyers in Nigeria and US if she wants to go to war with him.




Maintaining that she’s not asking him for money, she added that all she’s been asking for is that he treats her with respect.


African Doll also revealed during the interview that she will be keeping the baby. When asked if she is going to keep the baby, the outspoken lady said:

Comedian Baba de Baba has reacted to critics who called him out for congratulating Mercy Aigbe on her wedding to a married man and encouraged her to "snatch" more.


The comedian called his critics "stupid" and informed them that Kazim Adeoti is a Muslim man, therefore he can marry multiple wives.

President Buhari on Sunday morning, January 23, gave a pep talk to the Super Eagles, ahead of their second-round match against Tunisia tonight in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.




Speaking via video conference from the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the President spoke with Coach Augustine Eguavoen, Captain Ahmed Musa, Amaju Pinnick, President of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), and Nigerian Ambassador to Cameroon, Gen Abayomi Olonisakin (retd).




Mentioning two of the players, Kelechi Iheanacho and Moses Simon, by name, President Buhari urged the Super Eagles to continue making Nigerians happy, not only by winning the second round match, but to eventually lift the trophy.




The President said

 “You’ve been doing Nigeria proud. You’ve been winning. Please keep on winning. The Federal Government is supporting you, and I say thank you to all the technical crew and the players.. Please keep doing the country proud.”

A heartbreaking video of late five-year-old Hanifa Abubakar asking everyone to protect themselves has been shared online.

Hanifa was kidnapped and killed by her own school proprietor in Kano last December. Her body was discovered a few days ago where the school teacher had buried her remains after feeding her with rat poison.

Before she was gruesomely murdered, Hanifa was filmed by family members urging everyone to protect themselves.

Abubakar Abdulsalam, the grieving father of 5-year-old, Hanifa Abubakar, who was kidnapped and killed by her schoolteacher in Kano state, has said till he dies he will never forget how his baby girl was abducted and killed.

Five-year-old Hafina was abducted by her teacher on December 4, 2021 and murdered two weeks later. Her grave was discovered days ago in the same school where she attended for about two terms, some seven months ago. On Thursday January 20, the police exhumed the mutilated body of the minor buried within the school premises where she previously attended.


In a video interview with DailyTrust, Abubakar who couldn't control his tears said he is in deep sorrow over the tragic incident. He said the sad incident can happen to anyone.
