Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, is a happy man today November 30, as he celebrates the 5th anniversary of being acquitted by the court after he was wrongfully imprisoned for four years.

Harrison, who is the only surviving child of his parents, was arrested in June 2011 by his former boss who falsely accused him of robbery. He was arraigned in court for 'conspiracy, unlawful possession of firearms and armed robbery".

He was moved from Ogwashi Uku prison, SARS office Ikeja, A division Asaba, State CID Asaba, and Ikoyi prison.

On November 30, 2015, he was discharged and acquitted after the court called for the complainant to come forward with evidence and none was provided.

A video of a man being robbed off his phone at gunpoint while walking on a lonely road has been shared online.

In the video, the man could be seen walking along the lonely road while using his phone. He was stopped by two men who were riding on a motorcycle. One of the men who was armed with a gun stopped him and demanded he hands his phone. Terrified, the man immediately surrendered his phone.

Comedian MC Edo Pikin took to Instagram to share his experience after he travelled abroad.

The comedian who is in the UK for his comedy tour, filmed his view from his hotel room.

His hotel, located close to a busy intersection, allowed him to film cars coming and going from different lanes.

He pointed out how organized the drivers were, obeying traffic lights, traffic rules, and other road users.

He also pointed out that no one was honking unnecessarily as is seen in Nigeria.

He compared his experience abroad to what is obtainable in Nigeria and asked why Nigerians have to be so different.

Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro Nkiruka illuminates the hurdles she and her mother passed through at the early stages of her life.

The relationship therapist in a lengthy post she made via her Instagram page narrated how her mother struggled to raise her while engaging in several petit businesses and jobs. She disclosed how her mom sold sachet water, used clothes and on an occasion fell from a ladder and broke her legs in a bid to earn N1500.

She further narrated how opted for early marriage with the initial idea that her problems would be solved, but unfortunately, it turned out to be hell.

However, 14 years after, Blessing Okoro disclosed that all her sufferings are gradually fading away as she is currently on a path to greater heights.

Preacher alleges that popular clothing materials, jeans, is a product meant to promote the agenda of the ‘kingdom of the darkness,’ the anti-Christ.

According to the female preacher who claimed to have been on the executive team of the devil before giving her life to Christ, jeans was created to encourage evil.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai has urged residents of the states not to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections.


The governor made the call when he spoke at an empowerment program in the state today November 24. According to him, PDP will only destroy his good legacies if the party is voted into office in 2023. He added that the opposition party will also “drag the state and the entire country backward” if allowed to return to power.

He urged the people to rally around and vote for the candidate he will anoint as his successor in 2023, asking them to trust him in his choice of who will be the next governor of Kaduna state.

A woman identified simply as Maimuna allegedly killed her husband, Mallam Nasiru Dagana in Jattu-Uzairue, Etsako West Local government of Edo.
This is coming barely a week after another woman allegedly killed her husband in the same Dagana family.

It was earlier reported that the man identified as Abdulateef Dagana was allegedly stabbed to death by his second wife after he caught her with another man in their matrimonial home. 

According to Daily Trust, the latest incident happened at the weekend.

A source told the publication that the deceased had gone to the farm with his wives to do some farm work. However, after returning home, a misunderstanding ensued between him and one of the wives which degenerated into a fight.

He said during the fight, the woman pushed her husband and in the process, he hit his head on the floor and fainted.

He said the deceased was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was given drugs but died moments later.

Two women have been arrested in Ebonyi state with a set of twins they stole and were on their way to sell them.


In a video making the rounds on social media, the women were said to have been intercepted in a commercial bus while on their way to Lagos by vigilante members.


When interrogated, one of them who gave her name as Gloria, said she and the other female suspects were heading to Lagos to sell the babies to her ''Aunty''.

A number of Nigerians stormed the Nigeria High Commission in New Delhi, India, to protest against police maltreatment.

This comes after a number of Nigerians cried out, accusing Indian police of maltreatment.

Notably, a Nigerian mother was recently arrested with her two toddlers and detained without an explanation.

The protesters held placards and sang the Nigerian national anthem before expressing their grievances.

A Nigerian woman has cried out after she was detained by police in Delhi, India.

The mum-of-two said she was in her shop when Delhi police picked her up by 6 pm and took her to their station.

She said no one has told her what she did and she was told she'll have to sleep there with her kids till the following day when the person handling her case will be available.

She said in the video that her kids - aged 2 and 3 - have been hungry and when she asked for food for them, they were offered just chips, which she rejected, saying her kids can't have such for dinner.

She added that they were then offered an Indian meal, without caring if her children eat such.

Actor and politician, Desmond Elliot, has reacted to the findings in the report of the Lagos state inquiry into the October 20, 2020 shooting incident at the Lekki tollgate.


The panel in its report indicted the Nigerian Army and police and described the incident as a massacre. The report also gave the names of nine persons killed during the incident as well as the names of those who were injured during the attack.


Speaking on TVC this morning November 16, Desmond Elliot said the report was heartwrenching and that he knew that a calamity happened on the said day.

A Twitter troll was left shaking on stage during an audition when he was confronted by the judge who he had insulted on Twitter in the past.

Ghanaian media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah was judging the "Next TV Star" audition when one of the contestants came on stage and it turned out to be a Twitter user who has been insulting her, Lydia Forson, and other Ghanaian celebrities on Twitter.

Apparently, the troll had said a number of hurtful and false things about the judge and other Ghanaian celebrities, only for him to go for an audition to see the person he has been attacking is the judge


When he was asked to defend the claims he's been making on Twitter about the host and other celebrities, he had nothing to say for himself except that, "Twitter isn't real".


"Here I am, say it to my face," the judge told the troll but his voice shook and he couldn't repeat the things he's been typing online to her face.

The trial of Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of Usifo Ataga, Super TV boss, continued at the Lagos State Hogh Court in Igbosere, Lagos state, today.


Chidinma, a three hundred level student of the University of Lagos was the lover of late Ataga and was with him at the short-let apartment he was gruesomely murdered on June 18.

At the hearing today, Nkechi Mogbo continued to share her testimony on how the suspect and the deceased contacted her to use her short let apartment and how she eventually got the news that he had been killed.
