Melvinity: Concerning the earlier debate. I don't mind having Ighalo. My reason is simple. I need players with big names (not disputing the fact that he had shown class in recent times after the world Cup). And that feeling of experience, even though he won't have much game time.
Sadiq umar plays more like a 10, my thought tho. He is not pacy and therefore, he uses his dribbling skills and exceptional ball control to make up for (no speed)., and he also has excellent vision, he is so creative. I don't mind having him tho. But playing him as a 9 in this current Super Eagle team, naaaahh, he is too slow.... My take on that. Sadiq umar is kanu plus goals in fact he can enhance our creativity in midfield. He is a unique player. He was misunderstood in scotland. He has a unique style of play that we can use in the super eagles. He is more of an 8. Football is NOT about who is better than who but it is about the characteristics of a player and tactics. I hope rohr knows how to use him. Comparing him to Tammy Abraham is like comparing apple to oranges |

andrewbaba44: No be our fault nah, some days are like that, maybe we arent blessed with midfielders the way we are blessed with attackers
Well i also like ejuke, but i think he is best as a winger jare We can manage him as an attacking midfielder or maybe false 9. Let us organize a friendly match and try that option. After all it was the friendly between nigeria and england that made everyone realize iwobi can be a play maker |

fabyom: I quite agree, a game might not say it all. However, from this game, I can see why there is so much hype on him. His first touch, speed and marking, very good. Also, he gat the gas. Always on the move. Essien type! Great! I guess he is a box to box midfielder. Somewhat like joe aribo. He contributes to the attack i guess from what you say |

TheSuperNerd: Well, he should be there ahead of Dessers, Maja or Iheanacho? See the problem? His competition are equally bad-ass. When I say he's not far, it simply means his first senior call-up is not far off and I can confirm that Rohr has eyes on the lad. And true, the Serbian league is a low point but he won't be there for long anymore. Remember Peter Olayinka was called up despite still playing in Czech Republic thanks to his UCL showing against Inter and Barca.
Sadiq's time in the SE is fast coming.
As for Nwakaeme, we all know why he doesn't stand a chance now. His age and the competition in his role. He should just keep enjoying his club career. It will take a crazy combination of circumstances and player withdrawals from a particular international games window to see Nwakaeme come into the picture again. He might bench iheanacho. Iheanacho has an inconsistency to his game that umar might take advantage of. He might make a good 8 that his assists seems to showcase |

Olulong: Well... I was happy with what I saw. He should get some credit for his club's goal Chukwueze really played well today. He was responsible for that goal. That pass to the striker and dribble started everything. The young man still has it |

lakesidepapa: I am currently watching NIG Vs ARG 2010 world cup in SA, Haruna was a meastro in this game, he did the real job of an Attacking midfielder effortlessly. I didn't know this guy is this good. His loss of form was tragic to say the least. I dont know why he left Monaci as he geadually sunk into oblivion after that. I still greive for him. There was a time in that match he collected the ball from messi effortlessley |

Subzero047: The unluckiest Nigerian player The problem is he is a late bloomer and he stayed too long in an obscure league like Israel If he was 23, a lot of big teams will be after him. It is not everybody that can be very good at 19 but people sometimes dont understand this. I think he might have 5 more years of football in him. I hope a big team can buy him |
