Sure you are consulting an Endocrinologist, specifically.

An underactive thyroid is mostly a life long condition. Levothyroxine is taken in cases of hypothyroidism. There is another medication for Hyperthyroidism. Levothyroxine is stopped only when the gland regains it's normal function. Dosage of Levothyroxine depends on the level of thyroid hormones in the body. Periodic Thyroid Function Test will be required.

The increase in weight has to do with distortion of body metabolism, which should be normally regulated by the thyroid hormones.

There is a therapy that records some success. If you happen to be in Nigeria and Abuja, I will recommend a Specialist. You can as well read about radioactive iodine therapy.

Toyota Camry 2011 goes off, mostly when decelerating or brakes are applied from high speed.

Pops check engine light, was scanned and got the following codes:

P0171 - System Too Lean Bank 1
P0101 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Range/Performance.

What should be the culprit?

Also, car was bought as tokunbo and driven for 2 years now but gear oil has not been changed. Is there need to routinely change gear oil?

Engine is 2.5L 2AR-FE I4 with 148k miles; routinely serviced with Mobil 1.

Since birth till date (I'm 31) I have never fallen sick to a point were a test is recommended, so I have never had a medical test all my life.


My blood sugar was normal according to the nurse but my BP was something else, 105/156... she immediately called my auntie's attention to it and she opted to check me herself using another equipment, she did and it came as 110/160..... she told me it's really very high and considering my age shouldn't be.

Now my problem here is, in recent time I find myself feeling more week and dizzy and I dont even know how to describe the feelings

Power/light in Abuja is very poor, though it depends on area.

Normally, we can stay more than 24 hours without light and even when it is restored, they can decide to take it within a hour.
