Disjointed Mumbo Jumbo

Illiterate submission without making any sense

Just because you cannot locate the news link does not mean it does not exist. It occurred 7 years ago.

Your reputation on nairaland is tarnished and that is why you are desperately clutching at straws.

You have made categorical statements that 106 Soldiers are dead. Stop wasting our time on the Vanguard evidence.

What are the soldiers' names? Where are their families?

You said you spoke to a Soldier friend (A BIG FAT LIE). Can you tell us what he/she said?

You have no evidence to substantiate your own claim but you opened a thread to discredit others?

Funny woman grin
Shaarrrrraaaaap, if you don't have anything up your head. If you think the Op is wrong, why not bring verifiable evidence to prove her wrong.
See, we're used to APC's well known tradition of lies, deceptions and propaganda.
Will you be saying all these trash if this National embarrassment happened during jonathan's era.

In 2013, Nnamdi Kanu, the detained director of Radio Biafra, visited Nigeria. He granted what could pass for his only interview in Nigeria.
We started Radio Biafra in 2009 with the help of the then MASSOB members. They contributed to set up Radio Biafra.
Yet some paid propaganda machines like Omenka, Beremx, NgeneUkwenu etc will come here to rant that radio biafra was inaugurated after Buhari won election.
Infact, Kanu used to describe Jonathan as Spineless, imbbeciles .
Whether PresiDIOT Buhari like it or not, he must negotiate.

The beauty of Nigeria as a nation is in her diversity and whoever is blind to this reality needs some education. People should be made to understand the consequences of daring the sovereignty of NIGERIA, when such protest by unscrupulous elements are not met with grieve consequences, it inspires smaller nations to stand up to Nigeria. Shoot at sight order must be given to our security forces to any misguided group or association whose aim is to question or threaten the sovereignty of NIGERIA! Leadership is not all about giving carrot to the people all the time, Iron rod is used sometimes to bring citizens back to their senses.

From DAVID ONWUCHWKWA, Nnewi

Following the recent admission of the Indigenous People of Biafra to the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) General Assembly of the African Union (AU), the Supreme Council of Indigenous People of Biafra backed up by Bilie Human Rights Initiative yesterday sent its maiden delegation after admission to an ongoing AU meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, having been invited like other countries.

Disclosing this yesterday in Nnewi, Anambra State, the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Indigenous People of Biafra and former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, said the invitation to attend the meeting came from Addis Ababba, the headquarters of the AU just as other countries in Africa were invited.

He explained that the delegation whose membership he did not disclose is expected to spend five days in Nairobi, Kenya for the meeting.

“We received our invitation from Addis Abbaba the way others received theirs to be part of the meeting. And this means we are getting international recognition and opportunity to interact and present our case at the international level. It is a big leap forward,” Ikedife said.

There has been a dramatic change in the struggle to actualize the Biafran nation.

Check revealed that professionals, intellectuals and diplomats among the indigenous people of Biafra, home and abroad using legal framework outside the pattern of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), had taken up the struggle.

PoliticsRe: Biafra - A Call For The Ijaw Nation To Stand Up For Truth. by PhockPhockMan: 3:28am On Nov 13, 2015
bolanto24:
I am an Ijaw from Odi town in Kolokuma/Opokuma L.G.A of Bayelsa State.

In recent times, the polity is filled with demonstrations/protests from the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) in the South East and Some South - South States due to the arrest and detention of their leader Nnamdi Kanu by the F.G. Some supposedly "proud Nigerians" have capped it as an opposition sponsored protests cos of the lost elections of the PDP, which is nothing but ridiculous and preposterous. It is a fact there has always been a pro-biafra movement from the regime of OBJ to GEJ.

Now my main aim of putting the piece together is to call on the Ijaw Nation to stand up and take the side of truth. The side of truth against injustice. The side of truth for equity and fairness. The side of truth that there are many voices against the present structure/system in the country.

While the Ijaw Nation as arguably the fourth largest tribe in the country have contributed immensely to the Nigerian state, we are been bedeviled with youth restiveness, marginalization, under development and continuous suffering of our people for God knows how long.

Can we continue to tell ourselves that all is well when it is not? For how long shall we continue to live like this? For how long shall we endure the pains and sufferings of our people due to the silent treatment the Federal government has given to the supposedly "minorities"? Why do we fake our unity? Of what gain is one Nigeria? So that the born to rule over-populated North will continue to marginalize, oppress and feed fat on the God given resources of the supposedly " minorities "?

Why has the Buhari government dumbed the Confab 2014 report? Does it not favor the North? Implementing it is a step closer in addressing the yearnings and agitations in the country. I think it's time we the South should occupy Nigeria and protest for the implementation of that report. It is paramount for Peace, Unity and Development of the country.

The Ijaw Nation and other Nationalities in the Niger Delta have asked for resource control, fiscal federalism, or regionalism by ethnicity for ages now, but what have we got? A mere 13% derivation. The Ijaw Nation have asked for the de-balkanization and creation of 3 Ijaw states but we only got 1 in 1996, thereby making many Ijaws as minorities in those states they find themselves.

Taking the side of truth and standing with our Igbo brothers will send a message to the FG that there are discontented views and opinions in the creeks that more and more Niger Deltans are beginning to buy the idea of self rule/determination. The Ijaw Nation should stand with our Igbo brothers through thick and thin. We should not do the same mistake our fathers did in 1967 by siding with the FG. It was a big mistake. If we stood with them then, only God knows how far we would have come now.

The Ijaw National Congress (INC), Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), or the Ijaw Peoples Assembly (IPA) should issue a a statement condemning the act of violence and intimidation meted on the protesters by the authorities, and Nnamdi Kanu should be released unconditionally.

There is a saying that " the oppressed will continue to be oppressed only to the extent the oppressed allow the oppressor". If you keep quiet when you see oppression, you have taken the side of the oppressor. Evil thrives only when good men decide to keep quiet.
True talk.

You even insulted people who dare to criticize the bad policies of jonathan and pointed out the faulty systems in Nigeria as a whole. To you, Nigeria is the best place in the world if your man is at the helms of affairs, but once another different person is in charge, you begin to cry, wail, kick and scream Biafra/marginalization. So you didn't see this abnormality when Jonathan was in charge abi?
Your hypocrisy stinks to heaven. During Jonathan's regime, you and your fellow Almajiri kept supporting Boko Haram insurgency for political gain despite the killings. Instead what we hear is the buck stops on President’s table.

PoliticsBuhari Appoints Buhari As Petrol Minister. The Sun. by PhockPhockMan(op): 8:08pm On Nov 11, 2015
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari swore in his 36-member cabinet and appointed himself as the head of powerful Petroleum Ministry on Wednesday, after running the government for more than five months without any ministers.

Buhari, who took charge at the end of May after pledging to end corruption in the west African nation, said his government would try to maximize revenue from the oil industry, which has been hit by theft, fraud and a falling crude oil price.

“Speaking here is the substantive minister of petroleum resources,” Buhari told a cheering audience at the state house.

The Nigerian president has already reorganised the management of the Petroleum Ministry by appointing key new staff members, renegotiating oil contracts and banning some companies from lifting crude oil.

Kemi Adeosun, a former manager with auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, was named finance minister, while retired Brigadier General Monsur Dan-Ali was appointed defence minister.

Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the managing director of the state owned Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, was named junior minister of petroleum resources.

James Ocholi was named justice minister.

Deliver

Buhari said he waited for five months to name his cabinet because he was “mindful of the need to constitute a cabinet that will best deliver our expectations of a better country than we inherited.”

He said before Wednesday’s inauguration that not all ministers would be assigned portfolios and would be given assignments as they arise.

Analysts have criticized Buhari for appointing key players from past governments as governors, parliamentarians and ministers.

“With its composition, the cabinet is not likely to bring anything new, it is not a cabinet of change,” Sylvester Odion Akhaine, a senior lecturer at the Lagos State University, told dpa.

Buhari was appointed as the Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources in March 1976 by General Olusegun Obasanjo, who then ruled the country as a military leader.

He was also appointed as the chair of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation when it was created in 1977.

According to the Nigerian Central Bank, the country, which is Africa’s largest crude oil producer, earns around 90% of its foreign exchange from oil.
