What do you mean arrogance and pomposity it's like you failed to comprehend where I was going, but anyway when Igbo's confidence is misconstrued as arrogance and pompous.

Hallmark of igbos everywhere ..........never respect host communities

Hallmark of Igbos? you see how you generalized the issue of what you failed to ask questions. No one has take time to find out what really transpired between the two parties, the Igbo man just saw a masquerade and stabbed him so he is crazy or he hated the Yoruba culture that drove him to stab the masquerade I'm just asking.

[quote author=Moferere post=95850113]

Some part of Ekiti (SW) were carved to Kwara (NC)
Some parts of Ondo were carved to Kogi (NC)
Truth is, it is wrong to go to these states and fight.
They have been delineated and recognised by the constitution and only a constitutional process can change that.
So, going to oyigbo to fight, and rename it obigbo is wrong.
Call a spade, a spade. [/quote

It is good to defend what you know not what you have no knowledge about Obigbo was renamed Oyigbo so a spade cannot be a spade when the spade is not shaped correctly, boundaris adjustments In old Eastern region was done in bad faith to weaken the Igbos that was the truth.
As for the Yoruba in the middle belt are they not the once that are demanding to be merged back to Southwest. My point in mentioning all this, it's not good to merge people of different cultural values with others without their consent that is why Nigeria as country is running in circles after 100 and some years of existence.

Why is that they are systematically targeting Nigerians shops with law that never seen in any country of the world. They are in the right to implement their laws but for them to make laws that doesn't make any sense how can they want foreigner to pay one million dollars for SME if any of them have a million dollars do you think they will leave their country? Politics / Re: Why The Hatred For Oshiomole From The East by phoenix911: 11:46pm On Aug 11, 2020
Godoverevery:
Am asking based on this.
There was a particular video of a pdp campaign train were a man of abusing osho and is wife with a popular song of **carol yellow Sisi**
The most funny and awkward part is almost my east friends uploaded this video on there status with different captions.... like they were happy with the video.

So am thinking why so much hate for this man from the East.....they don't even hate there ex governors who stole them blind reach this man.

I know the hatred for buhari and tinubu is legendary but osho own is what I don't understand.

Please go take a seat, just because few of your friends like a music now it is the whole of the eastern people hate Osho whatever that means.

There is asaba just across the bridge.. There is owerri and Enugu close by.. Also you know anambra is erosion ravaged, so how will it be if after construction and erosion washes it away.. Then again, Anambra has more pressing needs, for instance anambra fathers rape their daughters, it should be sorted out first, the other day we heard about a wife who bought coffin as a gift for her husband in Anambra.. This and many more why anambra doesn't deserve an airport lipsrsealed

Its good they are reaping how they vote. I have no pity but will rather encourage them to keep it up

Please don't be stupid this is democracy and Nigeria is not a one-party system. How one or a tribe vote should not determine how our collective resources are allotted. So if the next election PDP win all APC states should be abandoned I'm asking you? Please you all should do away the primitive mindset so that Nigeria should move forward.

Port Harcourt Road is a Federal road but is not the time for the governor to look for money just borrow to alleviate your people's suffering.

The MD/ CEO of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Ven. Amaechi Okwuosa has said that a well manicured flower garden is a wonderful way to beautify ones home and environment because it creates a warm and welcoming vibe.

Okwuosa said this on Wednesday, the 8th day of July 2020 at Regina Caeli Junction where the Authority is carrying out Landscaping and Flowering project.

This is even as the Authority have recently completed the land scaping and flowering project at Amawbia roundabout axis and Onitsha governor's lodge respectively.

Speaking further, the ACTDA Boss said that the plants will help to reduce the rate of pollutants in the air and create a healthy environment.

Okwuosa also said that at the completion of the garden, ndi Anambra will have a beautiful environment that can also attract tourists, this he said is in line with his Excellency's mandate of ACTDA turning Awka and its environs to Dubai look alike.

I 100% agree with him about planting trees and flowers, but it is time to get the landlords involved and make it a law that everyone must plant trees, flowers, and grasses in any exposed patches of land in front of their properties and the law must be enforced with up to #30.000 fine if breached.

Sometimes it is hard not to criticize our so-called governors when I pledged not to criticize, This is shameful that in the 21st century our people are accepting and rolling out the red carpet for mediocrity a substandard two-lane road with a one-lane makeshift bridge is what the noise all about our people who really did this to you all. My brothers in Enugu State tell your governor that whatever that is worth doing, worth doing well. With this kind of project, the southeast will be backward for the next 100 years.

Yes, Imolites built the airport but the state government cannot manage it, so Buhari is in charge of the exclusive list and that is why (na Buhari all of them dey shout upandan). whatever that means.

Explain what to whom, you? Last I checked Nigerians and the federal government has not signed any agreement excluding Igbos from Nigeria. The majority of us disagreeing with the policies of the Buhari administration does not mean that we will abandon what due for us. Igbo still pays taxes to Nigeria and as such deserves anything that accorded to them, also the last time I checked we are still in democracy.

Have you been to that community yourself to ascertain the situation of things there?
I'm from Afikpo North and I know the community the way I know my name, I have been there countless times. Though its a small community, disadvantaged by its distance from the main town, but still regarded as one of the communities in Afikpo with the most hard working and brilliant people. Their population isn't more than 5000 but the number of graduates its shuns out every year is amazing.

I'm a huge fan of Dave and I appreciate his good works in Ebonyi but that still does not change the fact the this community needs help. Dave made a promise to fix the road during the electioneering period but he's yet to do anything after election, even the member representing Afikpo North/South at the fed house(Hon Idu Igariway) made a promise to fix the road if the state govt fails to do it but all of them have forgotten about it.

I'm not arguing about the deplorable conduction of the said community, I'm against using fake pictures. I commend your effort in trying to help the community but not in a way you went about it taking pictures from Cameroon you pull from the internet make it look like propaganda, so please go there take the real picture to reflect what on the ground.

Why they are not building it is because not only in Igboland but the whole country celebrates mediocrity. Another excuse is there no electricity to power the lift, I said why not use solar for the lift and water, for now, the excuse again is it is too expensive.

Definitely coming with a lift, most hotels in owerri has lift.
IMSG can map out one layout and put in place a restriction of 5 floors upwards, it can achieved within 2-3 years.

For me using electricity as an excuse for not building vertically is getting old, we have the sun in abundant even in the raining season. So is it not time we start using solar to power the lift and water for our highrise buildings.
