PoliticsRe: Army Promotes Three For Gallantry Against Boko Haram… by Phonon: 2:53pm On Nov 25, 2014
Yes General Overseer. Count how many men in the US Military that have been awarded the Medal of Honor or the Bronze Star or any other achievement related to the battlefield have been officers? No one doubts that the officers have operational value but there is a reason why the pawns go first in the game of chess.

Reference:
Yet another. Officers fight at all levels up to Brigade status. Let us put it this way. You will only cease direct engagement with the enemy in battle once you become a 'red neck'. Every soldier, airman and sailor below that is put directly in harm's way just like the NCO's. The airforce is even more exclusive, only officers fly choppers and jets. Once again, in battle, the officers are at more risk of capture or kill because they hold more information and are responsible for planning and directing battlefield engagements. They have to be twice as competent as NCO's to survive and thrive.

What happened to promoting the non-commissioned officers carrying their rusted AK-47 (provided by the military) on the front line? Those guys should be promoted too because they are the ones actually fighting and not the commissioned officers.

See what happens to (supposedly) bright minds when they come work for the Nigerian Government in roles not related to their profession. Their greed/hunger/naivety make them lose their way. Maurice Iwu, Dora Akunyili, Reuben Abati,.........etc huh

*opens fridge, takes a bar of bitter kola candy, crunches it* grin

I really don't understand a word of what you wrote. I guess I don't understand the polity of the matter.

davide470: Nice view, but you need to understand the polity of the matter. The City of Hiroshima consume in equivalent variance; cubic metres of gas in dynamic proportion from Train 1 - Train 4.. There's always market for it, hence the attitude portrayed by the government. Interests are at stake if there's no market, so all efforts are being put in place for there to be a market till 2097.

alotofgrace: bro i wont lie to u.... as i dey so, my compass is point the canadian meridian come nxt yr
BusinessRe: Time Running Out For Nigeria’s LNG Projects by Phonon: 3:49pm On Jul 22, 2014
It is all good brother. I think the Nigerian market will fizzle out if the government doesn't do something fast. Already, the US has stopped importing oil from Nigeria. Asia is the new market for our LNG and oil. Western Canada (British Columbia), East Africa and the United States Gulf Coast are three of the geographic centers of the coming wave of LNG expansion and if Nigeria just sits there, we will be 'drinking' our gas.

alotofgrace: was it that guy dat left 10mins into the exam or the lady that was shading some 2 boxes per question? common men. anyways who don cross don cross.

back to the matter, what could be the issue with LNG? they recently awarded cash in billions to Universities... this shouldnt be happening now because the Asian markets had earlier shown interest in the north american supply
BusinessRe: Time Running Out For Nigeria’s LNG Projects by Phonon: 3:36pm On Jul 22, 2014
Everyone prepared. I am just saying that not everyone prepared the same way and sometimes bad luck just happens. Some other times a little more effort would have made the difference. Life is unfair.

alotofgrace: and who didnt prepare for the test bro?
BusinessRe: Time Running Out For Nigeria’s LNG Projects by Phonon: 3:27pm On Jul 22, 2014
A First class degree has nothing to do with passing a test. If an average student prepares for a test, he will do better than an excellent student who didn't prepare well. It is just that simple. Besides, anyone who can regurgitate lecture notes in exams can get a First Class in Nigerian universities these days.

alotofgrace: really? when a first class graduate of elect/elect failed the WAEC nlng trainee test, i wonder who passed?

When they want to buy buses for campaign or for government use, they buy Toyota buses. When they want to buy buses that they or their cronies won't use, they go and buy Shin Fu or Li Chan buses that will crumble after a few months. Mtschewww.
