Politics / Re: Interrogating The Budget Of Buharinomics, By Femi Aribisala - Premium Times by Phonon: 3:51pm On Jan 06, 2016
Was Femi this articulate under Jonathan? He seems to love this government. grin

The truth is that most Nigerians were more concerned about seeing Jonathan go (including myself) that they would have voted a loaf of bread into office if that was the only other option. This government had no articulate plans to move this country forward and it will take a while for Nigeria to get everything right.

Nigerians will be fine;let's get the looters into jail first, recover stolen funds and see what happens next.

Politics / Re: That Moment When Ghanaians Are Wishing Buhari Was Their President by Phonon: 3:13pm On Dec 31, 2015
Nigeria has been under the illusion of freedom and crooks have used the law as a shield when it comes to defending their crimes against the state but don't use the law to better the cause of the people.

We never had a democracy so if Buhari's dictatorial tendencies brings sanity to this country, then so be it

It's more of a huge zoo where we (the citizens) watch different animals (the politicians) act out in their confined space away from the reality of life. They seem like the ones behind bars, but the citizens watching are the ones behind bars.

If Nigerians are not careful, a Governor will be accused of stealing public funds. There will be fuel scarcity in the New Year; Nigerians should have their kegs ready.

Fayose will continue his publicity stunts in 2016 if PDP is not careful. Innocent citizens will be shot by drunk Policemen if the UN is not careful.

Absolute nonsense.

Yes he's the best. Many impactful bills have been passed in the Senate since be became President given his track record of turning Kwara State into a world renowned investment and tourist centre.

I believe he is being witchhunted by Buhari who is using the Code of Conduct Bureau to go after the wealth he acquired from all those investments he gathered before getting into government. He didn't steal any government fund; a man of honesty. He lifted Kwarans out of poverty and now they all own decent houses and can afford good meals.

Please let us all raise a glass to the Best Senate President Nigeria has had since Ken Nnamani who helped stopped Obasanjo's third term.
