I dont know why the FG is easing the lockdown and reopening churches and mosque instead of extending a Total lockdown for at least three months.

I'm disappointed in this government with no direction.

We are in trouble
The economy is important than lives to them.

But why can't NCDC show videos (& if possible interviews) of the sick patients in isolation centers even if their faces are blurred?

At least to convince all the doubting Thomas.

Until then, Covid-19 in Nigeria remains a scam.
I still have more.

Stanbic IBTC mutual fund wan spoil show for me for this SUKUK. Trying to redeem my funds since last week Thursday and nothing up until now. I am sooooooo disappointed in their service this time. It has been great before now though. Are they trying to intentionally delay this so i miss out? Hmmmm. Anyone with escalation details? Maybe a senior staff? The customer care staff and my account officer have not been too helpful so far. I just need my money to meet the deadline.
You need to keep bombarding them with mails and screenshots grin

I have a big issue with my Internet banking access but I don't know how I can resolve this online on time as none of stanbic bank branch is operating and no response to the mail I sent to them so far. Is it not too late on Monday to fund sukuk account?
Note that 3 wrong password will automatically block your access and you will need to fill a form which will take about 3 working days for the bank to reset.

Thanks a lot phyde for your undiluted support, I later mail them and I was told that both are genuine both they belongs to different entity within stanbic holdings. While my own belongs to stanbic stockbroker your own belongs to stanbic capital market.
Please how do you guys move huge funds through stanbic internet banking as I think the minimum per day is 1million. How can someone increase the daily limit?
Please how much is the stanbic stockbroker charges on a million for this ongoing sukuk bond?
I have tried the mobile app and website to see if there is option to set my transfer limit. I did not succeed so, i decided to split my payments and save the receipts/transfer. You may need to visit the bank or still try to send mail, asking if it can be possible to set it online due to skeletal service they are offering now.

Good day friends and gratitude to the great contributors this thread. I applied for a cscs no. yesterday in order to proceed with the ongoing SUKUK bond. Sir Unite4real suggested a simplified process which I was going to follow. However the broker guy at the Afrinvest firm that's processing my cscs no. insists I have to subscribe to the bond by paying into their account. Stating that I can't get a cscs no through them and proceed to go pay directly to the SUKUK account. He insists they're the middle men so that if something goes wrong I can trace it through them. He even said that the account no I want to pay directly to might be fake. He has sent me account numbers to pay into. What could possibly go wrong if I proceed with paying directly into the SUKUK account and sending proof of payment to SUKUK email address as unite4real suggested. If I subscribe through them will they get a commission from me? Pls anyone with idea should help.
Stanbicstockboker sent me a mail last night, you can check previous pages. The cscs number is not even compulsory which i still confirmed from Lotuscapital customer service not quite long. You are good to go with your bank account number and bvn.
I simply sent my form without filling the cscs part and payment receipts to stanbicstockboker and copied lotuscapital, fbnquest and debt mgt. Let's see how it goes. Though, I'm still expecting my cscs from investment-one. This sukuk wahala no be do or die thing. Las las we go dey okay as far this thread is still alive.
God bless all the gurus with their wealth of knowledge and information.

There is nothing like getting fully prepared here. This thing no be war o. Lol

I have been down this road 2017 and 2018. This is the third issue.

If u must know, 90% of bank workers don't have this knowledge that many are dishing out here. If the bankers have such knowledge, there won't be need for such a forum. It would have been as straight forward as opening a savings account. This is investment we are talking about. A lot of guys here have gotten knowledge from experience and I think it is worthwhile to follow their footsteps. I have learnt a lot here and whenever I walk into a banking hall, I relate with them like a pro.
The first time I walked into the bank to buy TBills, they didn't know what I was saying and we're telling me to do fixed deposit
Please do you have the Sukuk account number of stanbic ?

What's the rate of the sharia fund and is it a 7yrs contract like the fg sukuk?
The Sharia Fixed Income Fund is about 6.85%. They sent it to me too. I just ignored it cause that's not what i want. Those guys know what they are doing.

I don't know why first bank and Stanbic staff is telling me that they are not aware of this sukuku. that they have not been communicated yet.
anyone with different experience from this banks??
Same experience with stanbic, a lady even called me on phone telling me the minimum is 50m which i knew is FGN Bond not the current SUKUK. I have to download the SUKUK advert and sent to her mail for her to be aware. I am just waiting for my CSCS to be open before i visit.

Stanbic IBTC daily online limit by default is N1 million. The maximum you can increase it to is N2.5 million. It is only when you increase it either by yourself on their app/web or go in the bank to before you can do a transaction more. 25 May is just yesterday and it is a public holiday not a working day. Be informed that MMF accout is not like your regular bank/savings account. Also note that they clearly state it on their forms that getting proceeds of withdrawal is between 3-5 working days.

Their app is not programmed to automatically carry out some requests like normal bank apps. After your request, it will take human efforts/imput to verify then credit your account. Unfortunately, those humans are entitled to public holidays too.

For your subsequent transactions with them, these are processes you should follow for ease of transaction and reduced anxiety:

1. May sure you do your request on week days excluding public holidays.

2. Make sure your withdrawal request is done early; before 12.00 pm of the day you make the request.

3. Be sure to have upgraded your minimum withdrawal before that day if you have in mind to go beyond the Limit.
Thanks boss, I have done redemption before and got credited within 2 hours. I will chill till wednesday.

My first attempt was 2m on June 24 which didn't go through until I reduced the amount to 1m before it went but didn't get processing SMS, only OTP code. I tried again on June 25 and I kept getting daily limit exceeded by 1m.

The process will make your capital idle in your account by the time they finish with paper work, sukuk bonds must have been closed. Closing date is June 2nd. You may check with your account manager to see if you can meet up with the date before you liquidate your ntb.
I have been trying to redeem part of my MMF with stanbic since May 25, balance still the same and got a message of daily limit exceeded by 1m when I tried again today. I want to believe it's because the muslim holiday. I hope there won't be traffic when banks resume on Wednesday.
