Check out the volume of transactions that will take place in Nigeria, if some Chinese Investors come to Nigeria to build a minimum of 200,000 housing units at an average cost of less than N5 million. They have access to cheap finance, manpower and raw materials

chaii...everbody must not be in Lagos ....i see woman that are not indigenous to Lagos selling items less than 10k as capital , i wonder why all this stress when u can move to enugu and be in old park or ogui road selling same at same price with less stress and cost of accommodation....i cup of ogogoro of 30 naira will be same 30 naira in enugu....i think over 5 million dont have any jusification to add to the burden of Lagos

Where I work in Nigeria, we usually have this expatriate exchange program, westerners that visited Nigeria confessed during one of the valedictory gatherings, that Oyinbo people that ever visited Nigeria usually cry twice FIRST, when they are told they will be visiting Nigeria (because of the many negative things that is being circulated in the west, buttressed with unpatriotic elements like you) so they believe they are coming to live in hell. SECONDLY, when they come here and experience the opposite and began to enjoy life like never before (good and stable weather round the year, low tax, friendly people, respect etc) and suddenly the tenure expires and told to go back home. Thinking of what they will be missing, they begin to cry again.
When I visited Europe, most of my colleagues couldn't afford to buy or drive a car, they were all going on bicycle.
You will do side hussle investment TB, bond etc in Nigeria without any form of taxation. Opportunities abounds everywhere and that is not enough to cast your own to the dustbin

Oga no economy in the world can sustain a lockdown indefinitely. Why is US easing up despite their numbers being the highest in the world, because they are tired. Millions are losing their jobs,bankruptcy, poverty rate all will increase and this has an indirect relationship to even the populace health. At the end the lockdown will have a negative effect which UNICEF highlighted in the article. Africa is even worse,we just copied and pasted what the Europeans were doing without paying attention to societal differences. Look at the Swedish model that is looking viable, they had no lockdown but found ways to mitigate the virus. The point is they should have been a logical approach to find a buffer. Mitigate the virus spread but at same time make sure that the populace can still earn, feed, seek healthcare etc....WHO predicted that malaria,TB,HIV etc will kill more than twice of what it kills it Africa because of the direct and indirect effect of the lockdown. Why?...because health workers are not longer in the hospitals, private clinics are closed, NGO have run short of funding, Poverty rate increases and the common man won't be able to get treatment, drug,surgery etc for his common ailment etc etc...look at the bigger picture. Do you know how many that had to stop cancer treatment, postpone surgeries because of this lockdown

The southern states lockdown their churches During Easter when cases were not upto 500 and we where forced to celebrate easter at home. Now cases is over 5k but i bet u that all Northern states will lift lockdown on mosques so as to celebrate salah
