Lagos - The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal has reversed the judgment of a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja which on October 17, 2014 banned the use of hijab in Lagos State public primary and secondary schools. The appellate declared in a unanimous judgment on Thursday that the ban was discriminatory against Muslim pupils in the state. m.news24.com.ng/Nigeria/National/News/breaking-court-reinstates-use-of-hijab-in-lagos-schools-20160721 |

There is no correlation between what the imam was saying and what the commentator in English was saying. The Imam was doing qunut, They were praying for themselves . They didn't even mention Nigeria nor Buhari. The imam prayer were ending in "na" which means us. |

harmbhrosz:Bro you are very wrong. I also studied an agricultural discipline and has worked in 3 research institute. What you did was plant breeding, which mostly involves crossing related plants or animals to get hybrids. Genetic modification uses advance techniques, such as gene splicing. Unlike plant breeding unrelated specieces are 'crossed' e.g puting a gene from a bacteria into maize. Please do more research. GMO is evil. |

swaggprofessor: swaggprofessor: swaggprofessor:It seems he was asked only one questions because there was no time again. I was among the first to be interviewed and the questions were many. Starting with tell me about yourself, to questions on the subject and teaching passion, why should i hire you and why do you want to work with us. Mine was about 30 mins, though that man that welcomed us was telling them 'time, time, time and that there are many candidates to be interviewed. I think the day you would be interviewed, people won't be much. Ensure you can articulate well why you love teaching physics. Was it only physics test that was written that day? Also do you have a degree in education? |
revenant:what was the question? |
Bross e be like say them don do you strong thing. Nice job anyway, people would now know who they are. Modified: having heard from both sides, I exonerate aroms farms. Theses are my reasons: 1. Though 47 thousand is small to pay a graduate, most state government don't pay up to that amount. 2. I don't see how the op want to be trained in farming without soiling his hands. And on top that he was given to two laborers as assistants. Also, why would a farm pay a person to do manual labor 47k when strong unskilled and powerful laborers can take less than half and do much more. I commend aroms farms for coming to clear their name. |
barapistis:Okay let me reply you. |

Last year my younger brother got 221 in Jamb and 57 in Uniben post UME, but wasn't offered admission. He applied to study Economics and Statistics. This year he studied harded but got 174. He was unlucky to write on the 8th of march. The mass failure of 8th of march even made front page. Their is no need dwelling on the past, what has happened has happened, we only have to look for a way forward. I don't want him to spend another year at home. I would appreciate if nairalanders with information of any reliable program by which one can get admitted into good universities apart from jamb to please help. Somebody told me IJMB, but another was agaist it. Please help. Mods please move this to front page as is is lively to benefit many people. |

Ese and Yellow reminds me of my uncle and Janet. I was a little child then. Janet that her mum asked to take cassava to the engine to grind, abandon the cassava and went to my uncle's rented one room. When mama janet was looking for janet, bad belle people told her that she is in my uncle's room. The woman went to my uncle's room but he didn't let her in. Na so the woman go carry police come. Information got to my mum that her brother has been arrested. She went there instantly. Mama janet claimed my uncle adopted janet, my uncle said she is his girlfried. The policeman asked the girl if my uncle was correct she said yes. He asked my uncle if he loves janet, my uncle said yes. He asked Janet same, she said yes. The police man then asked my Uncle if he would marry jenet, my uncle said yes, he also asked janet, she said yes. The sharp policeman asked both families to go and settle themselves. |
Something need to be done about this year's exam. My younger brother that past Jamb and UNIBEN post ume last year but couldn't get his preferred course of sturdy, prepared like mad for this exam had 174. The painfull thing is that he didn't even pass any subject, had forthy something in all the subjects. It is no shame if jamb swallow their pride and remark the scores. |
And some jobbless id*ots would be supporting him on near empty stomach. |

Mr Olakunle Taiwo is a disgrace to journalism. How can a Journalist not know how to tell a simple and common lie? |
Did he actually say this :"Niger Deltans are cowards, we know what to do to them. Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Edo and Cross Rivers State are our territory and anybody who tries to oppose us will be crushed....." |
