talktonase:That's were Drake has an edge. He can go from Rapper to RnB Crooner in 2 seconds. |
It goes without saying that AT THE MOMENT these two are the hottest rappers alive. I repeat: AT THE MOMENT! I'm not saying they are the best ever. So which of these two does it for you? Personally, I can't even pick. Lyrically, Lamar does it for me. He's got content. Musically, Drake is my pick. His flow and delivery is on point. In the end all I'll say is IF YOU'RE READING THIS IT'S TOO LATE TO P*MP A BUTTERFLY. Lol. Like for Drake. Share for Lamar. |

Hhhhmmmmm. I comment my reservations. This one Mourinho don dey put mouth for person presidential plans....na bad market oh. The candidate go just they lose votes back to back. |
Sacked Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has joined the Portuguese presidential campaign trail, backing conservative candidate Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in a video posted on YouTube. The 52-year-old Mourinho, who parted company with Premier League champions Chelsea last month, called Rebelo de Sousa a “charismatic winner” in the video message. “It’s the first time I publicly state my support for a candidate, because I think Portugal needs to make the right choice, more than ever,” said Mourinho, who looked relaxed and was casually dressed, comfortably sitting on a couch as he addressed viewers. “I have a clear understanding that we need a winner, but not only a winner. We need charisma, and uniting these winning qualities and charisma, I think that’s what Portugal needs right now. “I know the man and the politician. We need a charismatic winner,” added the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan coach. “So, without any reservation, I take this public position for the first time: I vote Marcelo and I do so because I am convinced he is the right choice for us.” Rebelo de Sousa, a 67-year-old professor of law and veteran TV political commentator, is leading the polls in the race to succeed conservative president Aníbal Cavaco Silva with voting getting underway. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/01/mourinho-joins-portuguese-presidential-campaign-trail/

Guys will probably look at this post and scoff, like: "Cry? Because of film? Tah. Only girls cry when seeing a movie." Well...not true! I'm a guy. And I'm not ashamed to say a movie scene has made me cry. And by "Cry" I don't mean the wailing-screaming-catarrh filled kinda cry. In my case...tears just wet my eye smaaaaaall. Lol. Please share with us the movie or movies that messed your tear duct up badly. If possible tell us the particular scene. Mine: 1. The Fault In Our Stars (when Hazel's parents came into her room to tell her Augustus had died...killed me) 2. Lone Survivors (I can't pick a particular scene sef. Those guys chop bullets. Then that Afghan guy that risked his life to save Mark...kai! Axe was my favourite guy. He took men down with his clinical headshots) 3. 3 Idiots (Owk...on a normal day I don't care about "Indian Feem" but this one stood out. And it's even comedy! Comedy that makes you cry! That scene where Rancho delivers Virus' daughter of her baby...my God!!! Rotten Tomatoes scored this movie 100% so what are you not saying?) 4. King's Speech (Colin Firth killed it. That last speech was truly epic. It's not surprising he won the Oscars in the Best Actor category for his role) Oya...over to you guys. Na me cry pass? ![]() |
koice:That movie killed me (The Martian). Damon was flawless. |
Favolly:Redmayne won last year. Abi Oscars want to do back to back? Jennifer Lawrence is just worshipped for reasons I still don't get. The Best Actor is Di Caprio's. |
The Fault In Our Stars Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey's own) Now You See Me Olympus Has Fallen Fast and Furious 4-7 Warm Bodies 3 Idiots Kinsman Ocean 11, 12 and 13 Pirates of The Caribbeans 1-4 The Hobbit Trilogy I call these movies the undeletables. No matter how my system full, I'll never delete them. |
randyortan35:This is the weirdest thing I've heard all year. A movie that the actors didn't even like!!!! Dah heck ?!!! That movie along with Mocking Jay part 2 where MY OWN biggest flops (dunno why Mocking Jay sold the way it did). |
So it looks like Paul Walker's demise didn't signal an end to the series. On the 15th of January, Vin Diesel posted the release date for Fast 8. Click like if you can't wait. Click share if you think the movie should have stopped with Paul Walker's death.

Take a glance at the picture below and you’d be forgiven for thinking there’s something dodgy – if not downright disturbing – taking place. But there isn’t. The picture is, in fact, completely innocent. NB: Dear Moderators, before you take down my post for seemingly violating Rule 5 (Don't post pornographic or disgusting pictures or videos on any section of Nairaland) please take your time to look at it carefully. ![]()

So instead of walking around with power bank, people will na be carrying Eva bottle around ![]() |
The PowerTrekk system is a brick-sized, lightweight, fuel-cell charger, powered by good old H2O. To charge your phone, users simply pour water into the tray, place a PowerPukk cartridge in the tray, cover the system, then connect a phone with a USB cable. Mineral water, salt water, or dirty water from streams/puddles (so long as it contains no sediments) are all fine to power up the device. The PowerTrekk, made by clean-tech company myFC, generates power by mixing sodium silicide with the water, to produce hydrogen gas that powers the fuel cell. The non-toxic powder releases only water vapor and hydrogen when reacting with water. It can fuel enough cells to provide the same amount of power as four AA batteries – which works out as approximately 10 hours of phone battery life. PowerPukk cartridges are also non-corrosive and leak-proof. Users can buy replacements of the cartridges to reuse.

shockwave91:Why do I feel you've not seen up to two movies on that list? ![]() |
OgidiOlu3:After all the awards Sam Smith packed last year. To be honest Writings on The Wall was too good. I juat want See You Again to win...if for nothing else at least in honor of Paul Walker. |
So what they do is wait for the govt to say "We've won the war against terrorism" and then they strike? |
I have a friend in UNIUYO. She's a 200 leveller (autocorrect didn't underline it...so yes...leveller). Today she told me of her plans to start a business in school, if for no other reason at least to reduce financial dependence on her parents. I hailed the plan as a brilliant one. I asked her what area she planned to go into. She said she'll like to sell lady wears...shoes specifically. Business isn't exactly my strong suit. So I didn't have any advice for or against that particular choice. However, I thought I should ask my fellow NLers. We all know the saying: "If google doesn't know it, ask Nairaland." This is exactly what I'm doing. So please what is the best business one can start up in school? Keep in mind the following factors: 1. It's a girl starting this business 2. She intends taking a loan of not more than 50K. My economic stalwarts, oya make una begin stun me with ideas. Super Mods, Galactic Mods, Star Wars Mods and all the other Mods responsible for pushing stuff to front page. Abeg make una reason me. You'll be impacting positively on a soul. Thanks. |
9. The Robber Who Posted an Incriminating Pyjama-Clad Selfie There is a new entry to the rich and varied annals of criminal stupidity. A violent gang was caught after careful attempts to cover their tracks failed to include a series of incriminating “selfies” and a mobile phone chat group named “armed robbers.” The four men were convicted after police uncovered photographs taken by a gang member that included one posing with a gun and another wearing the bright blue pyjama trousers printed with cartoon sheep that he had worn on one of their raids. The men had stolen thousands of pounds, cigarettes, and scratch cards in armed robberies at shops in Kent and Sussex. However, their crimes were uncovered with the arrest of one of the suspects, Terry Sullivan, and the seizure of mobile phones from his home.

8. The Vain Thief Who was Caught After Taking a Picture of Himself on a Stolen Cell Phone and Accidentally Emailing It to the Owner A vain thief helped put himself behind bars after he took a picture of himself with a stolen cell phone that he stole and then accidentally emailed it the rightful owner. Albert Wilson, 19, is accused of stealing a 16-year-old boy's Samsung Galaxy Epic smartphone in the Bronx, New York. He was arrested after police identified him by using the picture that he sent to his victim. Wilson and his friends surrounded the victim and robbed him. Once they grabbed the phone, they fled. Shortly after the robbery, Wilson took a picture of himself, not knowing that the phone was set to automatically email all photographs back to its rightful owner. With a photograph of his alleged attacker in hand, the teenager went to the police. Officers arrested Wilson and charged him with robbery, possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance which was believed to be crack cocaine..

7. The iPad Thief Who Identified Herself with Selfies Authorities from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in Louisiana were looking for someone who stole an iPad, and the alleged thief may have given them some unintentional assistance. The alleged thief (pictured above) took a number of photos of herself with the device days after someone broke into the victim's car at the South County Regional Park in Boca Raton. The crime took place when the victim was busy with her kids at a flag football practice. She was able to access date from the iPad with her iCloud feature. The cops were looking to identify the woman in the photos because other parents have had their vehicles broken into, as well. The flag football league sent out an email to parents warning them of the break-ins. The woman whose iPad was stolen was offering cash to anyone with information leading to the return of the device..

6. The Woman Who was Suspected of Mass Embezzlement and Took a Selfie While Bathing in Cash. Napoles, who was living in the U.S., owns a Ritz Carlton condominium in L.A. that she's trying to sell for $1.475 million, as well as a $339,000 home in the Philippines, and she has a long history of sharing photos of her decadent lifestyle. The problem is that Napoles is somewhat of a public figure. Her mother Janet is currently awaiting trial and could face jail time in the Philippines for allegedly assisting the country's parliament in embezzling about $230 million. After news of the charges against her mother were reported, many grew outraged over Napoles' online photos and accused her of unjustly living a life of luxury in a nation stricken with poverty.

5. The Former New England Patriots Tight End Who was Accused of Murder and had Taken a Selfie While Holding a Gun. Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end, has been charged with murdering Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro football player for the Boston Bandits. Now, a "selfie" photo, in which he is seen flaunting his Glock handgun in one hand and a camera phone in the other in front of a mirror, is going viral on Twitter. Prosecutors accused Aaron Hernandez, 23, of killing Odin Lloyd over some "troubles." Lloyd, 27, was a semi-pro football player who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancée. The two athletes were reportedly friends. Lloyd's body was found in an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez's home. Hernandez, 23, was also charged with one count of carrying a firearm without a license, two counts of possessing a large-capacity firearm, and two counts of possessing a firearm without a firearms ID card. Aaron's TMZ-published selfie photo was reportedly taken years ago.
