You don't joke or play pranks with everything, there are some stuff you read and don't type to get noticed and get punished by the almighty God. So watch what you type on public platforms like this! God has revealed himself thru his Word not thru some dumb Nigerian directed movie. I fear God more than you do Sir. Trust me on that one. Good Day. |

adconline: So u don't know the difference between " where" and "were"? Sadly your post garnered the most likes. OP's use of "where" was correct. "Where" refers to a question about a location of something, such as: "Where is our table?" "Where is our vice president?" "Where is your sense?" "Were" is the plural form of "was." For example:"I WAS at the concert last night. We WERE there all together with my friends." #shame |

thesicilian: Hahahahaha, who's Mrs. Cecilia? I hope you're not like most Nairalanders who just comment without reading properly? (funny enough the same crime you're accusing me of committing).
That you dug out for info on discoveries that were made by others - kudos. If that's the kind of thing that makes you happy. Yes, I did look up the link again, to see if there's anything I missed. I tend to do that a lot.
The issues of pessimism, realism/reality, optimism are all highly debatable & subjective so I'll just let that slide lest we fall into a black hole of arguments on that.
I acknowledge their efforts. But we can't deny the fact that at this stage of their research its still all hypotheses, so I think its still too early to fish out the Nobel Prize.
Just for future reference, when you bring up a topic and one of your readers asked questions, make efforts to reply civility, try not to show it even if you get bored. I've seen a much more senior consultant in my field ask a 'dumb' question that turned out not to be a dumb one at all at the end of a 3-hour deliberation.
For the fact that you haven't actually used an insulting word throughout this discussion, like most Nairalanders are fond of, says a lot about your character. I'm impressed. Keep it up sir. Lol. You've ruined our little war of words with kindness! Why? Why? Anyways thanks. Your speeches were all lengthy...yet there was NO grammatical error...just a few typos dat could be attributed to typing fast. So I assumed, and rightly so, that you are a level headed person. And yes...you didn't insult my mother or father or unborn kids. Another high point. I admit trying to be stubborn sha...couldn't let you have the last say...not on my post. thesicilian: I don't see any reason why you're getting into such a frenzy bro, you need to pipe down before you rupture an aneurysm in your brain. There are 2 sets of people in this world: those that ask questions, and those that swallow what they're told hook, line & sinker. The fact they're taking their so called discovery to the European Geosciences Union does not make it so waterproof. When they get there its probably going to be a 24yr old guy with a PhD that'll ask them the same question: how did they make their findings? You asked if I read the article. Did you? Because I did and all I saw was 'maybes' & 'probablys'. They say they utilized radars in making their discoveries, maybe for the average guy on the street that's good enough, but some might want to know more. Its people like you that accepts just any research findings just because it is published in a popular journal. For your own sake please learn to ask good questions, and if you don't have any be patient and wait for the replies to those who ask! First it's obvious my first reply made you actually take the time to read what the link had to say. Second, they aren't two sets of people in the world. There's way more. Third, you do realise don't you that you won't have been aware of this development if I didn't make it a post here on NL...so I'm not some dumb mofo who waits for information. I look for it. Finally (getting bored), you strike me as a pessimistic person. At least appreciate the fact that these guys have gone out of their way to get this whole Bermuda thing solved. Acknowledge their effort. For now this is the closest we've gotten to to explaining that diabolical chasm. I hope you make a counter discovery Mrs Cecilia. Ciao. |

thesicilian: It still doesn't add up. First the dimensions of those so called craters are too small to account for the disappearance of such large ships and airplanes Second, how exactly did they make such discoveries? For many decades, the Bermuda Triangle has become a mysterious location off the coast of the Florida peninsula where various ships and planes have reportedly gone missing. While the U.S. government and other international maritime agencies do not recognize the name, some people claim the missing ships and aircraft are caused by extraterrestrial activity in the region. However, a new discovery may finally shed light to the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. According to a report, several scientists found giant craters on the seabed near the coast of Norway. The experts claim that these craters are indications that something exploded in the area, and that methane bubbles may have caused these explosions. In the report, these methane bubbles accumulate under the sea floor sediments, and then explode, burst, or “pop” from the seabed to the water surface. “The crater area is likely to represent one of the largest hotspots for shallow marine methane release in the Arctic,” said in the report. The craters reportedly measure up to 800 meters wide and about 45 meters deep. Details about the discovery will be presented at the European Geosciences Union, and experts will discuss whether these methane bubbles are a threat to ships. that such phenomenon may have something to do with the bizarre occurrences within the Bermuda Triangle. For many years, the only scientific explanation that experts could provide is the area’s turbulent weather and seas. Interestingly, Russian scientist Igor Yeltsov already stated last year that the “mysteries” of the Bermuda Triangle may be the result of gas hydrate reactions. Yeltsov explained that this kind of occurrence can trigger an avalanche or even a nuclear reaction, where huge amounts of gas are produced. The term Bermuda Triangle was first coined by Vincent Gaddis in 1964, when he described it as a place where various ships and aircraft mysteriously disappeared without a trace. So Satan didn't own a restaurant there like we thought after all http://www.webpronews.com/bermuda-triangle-mystery-finally-solved-scientists-give-explanation-2016-03/
