logica: It seems people don't know the difference between human nature and a personality disorder. If it is indeed human nature, I would feel the urge to want to bring down every more successful person I come in contact with (except of course you consider the possibility that I am not human). But I never feel that urge. Those who feel this urge are suffering from a mental/personality disorder. Somebody described it as "megalothymia".

And once again, "survival of the fittest" is quite different. As in, if we both are competing for a contract and I win the contract, that is direct competition. Nobody is bringing the other down in this scenario. But if I win the contract and have plenty of money to throw around, then some random monkey starts beefing me, then that is indeed a mental/personality disorder.
What if to win d contract from someone who is more qualified you assassinate the person?

Tosyn007: I don't mean it in that regard, I meant you can never liken logic to fantasy..

I'm still enjoying Naruto anyway,,Kishi is trying to make it as explicit as possible..everyone thought the story started with Hagoromo and so should end after he surfaced but the dude is trying to make sure no one is able to arrive at the end independent of him
No problem... We are all different

Let's see the next big surprise...
Culture › Re: Crab Mentality by pickabeau1: 11:21am On Jul 13, 2014
logica: Correct. "Crabs-in-a-barrel" is about survival. Direct competition. Now, there is a different scenario where people who are not in direct competition with you start "competing" with you. That has been explained by someone already; and attributable to megalothymia.
This..
Donkunxex: The crab mentality has always been in the all ar0und d world and wil neva go.... Learnt dat fr0m the b00nd0ckz..
The crab mentally z just about 'survival of the fittest'..the crab be like 'if i'm gonna die.you gonna die too'.

Konjour: All the names mentioned are predominantly borne by muslims of the Yoruba race. So, you don't have to be intelligent to know that the names have got Islamic roots.

Nevertheless, its not a harmful thing to know.

Family › Re: Rape Victim, 16, Speaks Out After Photos Of Her Assault Were Spread Online by pickabeau1: 10:59am On Jul 13, 2014
Nonso23: I followed up the story off here. The only account that read she was raped was hers.

Like I said earlier I choose to be agnostic about her being raped until their results are conclusive.
What I call silly is going off to the media and feeding the trolls. Considering the prowess of cyber bullies in the west she's more likely to end up worse than she started off.
My submission was: get a psyche evaluation and if necessary treatment first then take your case up via the appropriate channels. I don't see the media ish as a reflection of strength. I see it as a 'sacrifice your bishop to take out a pawn move'. Short-sighted. that's all.
Good..so you are informed...

Yes..she may or nay not have been raped..as I said it may have been consensual

However is displaying her naked pic not a a bad thing and people even making fun of her

I feel that is unfair

I however believe in prevention..

On the media iah..her face is already there.. Her private parts...what else is new
Let's hear the story of the guys then we know exactly what happened

J12: Old man ke? Zidane wasn't the only inspiration in the team. They also had Viera, Makelele, Thulram, Gallas and Henry. I don't need to tell you who they were.
A team of old men ... yet u rate a team of stars that could not even beat old cargoes in a quarterfinal ahead of a team that got to the semis

ok...

that 2006 brazil team was a failure

yim: but they never lost 7-1 to anyone. They always came back dignified. What is the use of Semi final if you will be this disgraced. Even Nigeria no chop dat goal margin and we dey abuse dem.
Poor defence, no attack. Not the best team you will find around
what does dignified mean

in brazil they dont do losing in a dignified manner

This is a country that had not forgotten the loss to uruguay in 1950 and changed their jerseys from white to yellow

The 06 n 10 teams had talent and failed to deliver

I will rate this team ahead of them

J12: On a player by player basis, the 2006 Brazilian squad was the best in the in the tournament. With Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Kaka, Adriano, and Ze Roberto, no other team had a better attacking prowess. They were just unlucky to meet a Zidane inspired France. This present Brazilian squad is useless.
the question was not what set of players was the best.. it was which team
Unlucky to meet zidane.... yet they lost to an old man in the twillight of his career.. puhlezze

what excuse did the 2010 team have losing to the dutch...

is it players you are lusting after or how they combined well together
Sports › Re: Is This The Worst Brazilian Side Ever? by pickabeau1: 11:29pm On Jul 12, 2014
exactly

the 06 and 10 teams never passed the quaterfinals and even lost the 11 copa america

jhydebaba: U'll remain the best until u meet the best, then u'll join the rest.

They tried their best atleast we have Brazilian teams that don't get to smell the semifinals.

So I don't agree with u that they are the worst.

So you admit you use a discriminatory term on a website where africans frequent.. further reinforcing the use of such a steupid word

bigoted much?

zboyd: When anyone mentions the term “crabs-in-a-barrel” it IS almost always in reference to Black/African people.
However, this mentality CAN be found among almost all ethnicities - not just Black/African people.
