Ok i read through and i don't know why people like creating trouble for themselves.
The lady knows that her MIL does not like her,the best thing to do when she is around is to tolerate her excesses. She wanted to take some pictures, what she could have done is to talk to her politely and give her two or three pictures and still promise her to send more to her when she duplicate them.

It is not everything you must fight for in life especially with family. For a woman to raise her hands on an old lady is very bad-I don't even have words for it.She could have at least wait for her husband...
Exactly what I expected

She is insinuating her MIL is diabolical. And wants to deal with her to overcome the 'devil'

That's what happened when there is no authority in the house.
True.

And the insinuation by the wife that his mom is diabolical speaks volumes.

Some people see evil everywhere because they r evil themselves

Mama must let it slide oh... Afterall she started the slap fest , even though we aren't told what prompted the slap, could be her ill words towards mama, we don't know. but a possibility. I mean she says mama is diabolic, that's huge. Saying that to mama's face could land her a slap for sure.

I hope the DIL apologize and move on. Finito

@op: Why do you think your wife refused your mother those pictures? Did she tell you why?

Does your wife believe in 'jaz'? Does she believe that your family dabbles in 'jaz'?

Don't worry...she is only following your footstep as yu r d champion of mouthedness here on NL

Evina:
LOL. Pickabeau, issoright.
Whether you like it or not or it sounds politically incorrect to you, the choice of a spouse to marry has implications beyond the people concerned

You can decide to brush it up with independence or whatever you call it.

Marriage involves more than 2 persons
Family › Re: Marrying A Guy That Is Short.. by pickabeau1: 5:00pm On Mar 25, 2015
Evina:
First off, her fiance does not need your pity. I would assume that there are people around you deserving of your pity.

Secondly, my brother(s) have a mind of their own. They are men enough to choose their own wives and live with the consequences of their choice. In my family, we don't do the allow/disallow choice of partner by any member.

Lastly, you were quick to attack her but conveniently turned a blind eye to those hurling insults at her! Did she start insulting anyone? Or gave them back a taste of their own medicine?

I never knew you were this biased!
Story
Saying that this lady is mouthed is now bias...
