Tears run down my cheek as I type this. I went into d medical profession to Save lives, but today I watched a patient die and I could do nothing.
It was around 11am today, 26th Dec 2015, I wz in the emergency room as the only Dr & House officer on call in a state Specialist hospital wen a peugeot wagon followed by a police van drove in. They opened d doors & trunk and started bringing out Accident victims. I did a quick triage & saw dat d 2 in d trunk were in a more critical condition, So d immediate plan was to refer d 2 to FMC wia dey hav better hands and equipment to handle it. So I asked d policeman who d driver is so dat d 2 will be rushed to FMC & he said he died at d Accident scene. I ran outside to buy airtime to start calling other HOs, b4 I could return, dey had dropped d 2 & drove off.
I called other HOs, only 2 showed up, others had travelled. To my greatest suprise, I called a medical officer who is a snr colleague in d proffession, she said I shud nt touch anyone till dey paid. That I shud Infact refer all of dem. I was incapacitated, d patients were in pains, crying, calling on us to help, some already unconscious, but we couldnt help cos we have an order frm above.
Within 5mins, 1 young lady in her early 20s died. Abt 10mins later, another police van came and carried d remaining 7 to FMC.
This evening, some road safety corps came to inquire if any Accident victims were brought to our center. They had retrieved d manifest frm d vehicle and contacted d families of d passengers. Dey came wit d relations of one of d patients, and wen I told dem 1 of dem died, dey asked for d Description of d 1 dat died and I showed dem d pix of d gal dat died, behold she was d 1 dey were looking for and right there was the gal's fiancee. Their traditional wedding was to be in 3days tym
I want to use this medium to call on the govt to make policies dat"ll enable Drs treat patients in such condition. Let's Save the human race

Hello Nlanders,i need your advice as am in a confused state of mind. I have a guy who loves me so much that I wonder if I could ever get such love from anybody else again and I also love him as well but the issue I have with this guy is that I am an introvert and he is also one. Prior to meeting him,i had always wanted a guy that is outspoken, bold nd courageous but on the contrary, my guy is a very shy person (more than I am), not bold, cant face a crowd which I also can't do which makes me wonder what happens if either of us is to do something of such in future amongst other things. Please I would like to know if introvert/introvert relationships work. Please matured minds or married ones here who has been in this situation should let me know how they dealt with it.

Which one is where did it happen? Where are we living? It happened right here, for Naija, in real life and both stories are real.

I know another lady that bought a car, a few months later she got married to a man that is richer than her. Never do anything out of fear, buy a car because it will help make things easy for you, a man will come if it is meant to be.

Unlike countries like Egypt and India, a She-taxi service is practically strange in Nigeria. She Taxi is simply a fleet of taxicabs owned and operated by ladies ONLY, and for transporting women commuters EXCLUSIVELY.

OP, this sounds good, can you explain it further, also do you have a website or more info about already established She-Taxi companies, how can one get female clients e.t.c

I came to Lagos in August in search of job, after I concluded One year nysc programme.
I left my mom and my kid brother to relief my mom expenses on taking care of us with my aunt( mom elder sis) and granny(mom's mother).
My mom is a single mother( lost husband at early stage of marriage like 5years after) and also an average civil servant, who has been taking care of every one and our needs.
I left them to Lagos to hustle and also support them.
Since I came to Lagos in August, I have been searching for job and spending my little service on transport, paper work(photocopy and writing/ rewriting of CVs) and feeding most times.
Here in Lagos, I live with A cousin brother(from mom side) who i respect alot and love most among my other cousins.
He accommodates me and sometimes drops #500 for cooking when need to , i have to manage it ( everything is expensive but I have to squeeze) and cook two days meal for both of us.
Since this month, he has been get upset over anything and i sense he not happy of my joblessness and he's fed up of my staying at home sometimes ( I stays back cos of no transport fare to go out and I was told to check back some places I tried by January).
My hope is in January and I believe I must get job by January with the faith I have.
My cousin brother came back yesterday 24 Dec and told me, he's travelling to villa that when he's back, I will tell him why i came Lagos. Before leaving he drops #500 for Christmas cooking.
I have endure enough staying with him by eating like a beggar because in my house we eat 3square meals everyday. Food is not our problem,Christmas day mom will prepare a big chicken, salad and drinks for us. I'm saying here is that am not after food but what he told me. Now I sense that he doesn't what me to stay in his place again. As it stands, I don't have anywhere to go and I really want to work in Lagos, am not lazy and I dislike staying at home. That's why I went for aviation course ( Ticket booking ), So I can get job since my grade is poor ( my bad mistake)but I believe my destiny is not tie to it.
I don't know what to do and where to go.
I have been crying all day.

I'm not ashamed to be against APC adminsitration & all APC Zombies & here are some of the reasons why I dsilike APC & their followers.

1. APC has nothing good offer the masses

2. They are always happy anytime boko haram strike during the tenure of GEJ

3. Buhari never contributed anything on how to end boko haram menace during GEJ era instead
his party always used the loss of peoples lives to convince the masses to vote for their party
To the best of my knowledge, anybody that has the love of his people in his heart will not
folds his arms while the country burns simply because he is an opposition to the party that
is in power. lets take the recent attack in France as a case study, the opposition leader
didnt use the attack to canvass vote for his party but instead he gave his advice on how to

GEJ has his own bad sides but his tenure is far better than OBJ tenure.
carefully looking at the people that made up PMB cabinets shows that APC is a party of deceit
which still practice come & chop your own types of politics.
some will say 6months is too short to judge a party at the national level but I want you all
to carefully investigate how impoverised most of the APC governed states are.
Take Osun state as a case study, some people says Aregbesola was unable to pay workers salaries due to the
fact that Osun states allocations was slashed by GEJ admisnistration, GEJ is out since 7months ago but Aregesola
is yet to pay the workers. APC never said anything about Aregbesola opon imo scam despite
the millions spent on that white elephant project.
Recently, we heard that Okorocha spent over 600million on Christmas village while he owes workers
about 4months salary.
Here in Oyo states, Ajimobi is owing Oyo states workers salaries, & for over 4 years of
Ajimoni tenure there is no reasonable projects that his administration can boast of. The
proposed Technical University is now a white elephant despite the millions that Ajimobi
administration claimed to have spent with nothing to show for it.
Now, public school student pays school fees still APC claims they are offring free education.

The recent elections in Bayelsa & Kogi shows what the future of elections in Nigeria will
be.
Has APC ever condemned the activities of any of their governors that maltreat his people? instead
they will keep mute while the people languish in suffering.
Any political party or politician that plays politics with loss of citizen lives is wicked.

Some will take this post as a message of hatred, some will call it disjointed but before the end of first quater of next year,
many eyes will be opened to reality.
