Science/Technology › Re: Cheapest Means Of Calling US And Canada by Pidggin(op): 7:16am On Nov 22, 2015 |
NaLaugh: I'm not sure what it costs to call US & Canada with your cellphone from Nigeria, so whether these are beneficial to you depends on that.
Here are some options I call Nigeria with, but they offer good features to call the US & Canada too. They're VOIP (voice over IP - like skype, but calls & SMS only), so they require decent internet speeds. These offer many payment options, but I guess Paypal, VISA & Mastercard should work for you.
1. Nairacalls.com - Their rates for US calling is $0.005/min (cell & landlines). Which is about 1 Naira/min. Canada is slightly more. Minimum reload is $10 (NGN 2,000 or so). Calls to Nigeria are $0.04/min (NGN 8 ).
2. Rynga.com - You get free US & Canada calling for 4 months with each reload. Minimum of about $11 (NGN 2200 +). They also have a mobile app that works decently. Calls to Nigeria are $0.053/min (NGN 11)
3. Also, you can try globfone.com. It is completely free for US calling. However, I've only tried it once, to see if it worked. It did, but I don't need it, as I have unlimited local calling on my cellphone, like most do around here.
Hope one works for you. Thank you, this is very useful, happy Sunday |

Family › Re: Can I Get Married In 3yrs Time? by Pidggin(f): 6:53am On Nov 22, 2015 |
haftob: From wat I've seen, ppl's lives tend to progress positively wen they get married than wen they are single mayb cos of responsibility. So I'll advice u to keep the wedding in mind and be determined to av it b4 ur time target. I bliv u don't need much money to av a decent traditional wedding. Looking at it from the religious angle, the person u'll marry is coming wit her own destiny so her wants will definitely be catered for, mayb her destiny is her living luxuriously, therefore it will also affect u by making sure u're very rich for u to be able to cater for her needs. And also, if it's ur destiny to be rich, notin can stop u to be rich whether u're married or not, this is wat we human beings don't understand and it makes us just chasing shadows around. I knw many ppl won't reason with me but I knw wat I'm saying. |

I think your aunt is the problem in this situation, it also seems that your benevolence towards her has been taken advantage of. If she is not too old, establish a little business for her. I said this because sometimes bitterness can lead to evil, who knows if she will go diabolical just to ensure that she eliminates your wife or control you, if she has a source of income this is less likely. I think your wife is good, call your aunt to order, and try and establish peace between them. |
