Romance › Re: She Is 45 Years Nd Still Single by Pidggin(f): 1:30am On Sep 06, 2015 |
Durent: I Dont knw how i cn help my aunt(my dad sister) to get married quick, she is da same age wit my mother who iz already with 5kids. My aunt is decent nd pretty, with good sense of fashion, extroverted, happy, tall, chocolate nd good mannered but she had about 4 suitors in da past, some later called off da marriage, others jst left forever. I Jst saer today nd she looks tired, unhappy with sum white hair nd wrinkles, i almost wept. I cant see why she is still single, could she be doing sumtin wrong? what can i advice her to do, HELP me NLanders, i could die if my aunt remains single, am even wonderin if she can still gv birth, is menopause not at 45 yrs?, pls sumone shud help me!!! So she looks tired, unhappy, with some white hair and wrinkles and to you the cure for this is marriage? Why didn't you ask her when last she went for medical check up? She may be sick or stressed. Being single @ any age is not a curse, a person will not be denied access to heaven because he or she is single at whatever age. If your aunt is lonely as you think, you can help her out a bit by spending some quality time with her. Is she preoccupied with searching for a husband? I don't advice this as it can lead to frustration, rather she should dedicate her life to helping others e.g. adopt a child or two. Stop comparing her to your mother with five children, all fingers are not equal. Your mother's destiny and her own are different. I have an aunt that married @25, today she is about fifty something and still no child. Our paths are different. |

Christianity Etc › Christian Infidelity by Pidggin(op): 6:54pm On Sep 05, 2015 |
A Christian man who chaired a wedding I attended today boldly introduced his two wives before saying the opening prayer. Both wives stood up and waved to everyone with no evidence of shame visible. On further investigation, I was told they are active Christians. This cannot happen in a Catholic church, as you cannot openly be claiming two wives and still be a Catholic. Why are some churches allowing this? |

uthor=Bonita101n2 post=37684457]I was formerly engaged to a very nice guy who luckily for me was very rich and also got a very good job while we were dating in an oil firm. Unfortunately it did not work out due to external factors (folks). After healing and all, I started to open up again and have and still meeting a lot of men, both rich and not so rich, bad and good etc.
My problem here is that maybe having dated someone that was very rich and also having met and meeting still very rich guy, I'm finding it difficult settling for less. I met this wonderful guy who I'm also attracted to but he is not very rich. Meanwhile, I do have another suitor or two who are extremely rich but I'm not so attracted to them and I know marriage, that attraction is important.
I really like this guy but then again, I start battling with the fact he is not so rich as the previous and the others and what people might say in me settling for less. Even one time he visited, while I was trying to talk to my brother about him, before I could finish, my brother had already said who is this guy that does not seem like he's rich.
It's now making have conflicting feelings and thoughts and I don't want to miss out on a good person but what if I force and maybe get attracted to those other rich suitors but my mind is more on the not so rich.
Please advise sincerely and judging. Thank you.[/quote]If he's a good person like you say he is, then you should choose him. Money is important, but it's not everything. |

kushsy: Today my baby girl of 9 made wept...its been 9 years since I had her and no other..another preg turned out to be ectopic...as she grow older she asked me why she is the only among her peers without a sibling even in her school..i have always tried to call her down but this morning as I was singing a gospel song with some lyric that say everything is fine..she came and tapped me saying. (No Mummy everything is not all right..you have a sister you call every time you need to talk some one, my niece n nephew all have themselves in 2s and 3 but me am all alone...Who would I be calling when I grow up and need a someone) I just broke down and cried. she wept with me..i don't know what my daughter is going through to always say this to me..i dont know how it feels to be an only child...I am not a young woman as such. I am thinking adoption... She will grow out of it, she's only nine. If you can help a relative's child by allowing him/her to stay with your family, I think it will help. |

Zeeblamj01: I'm So sorry about this... It must be heartbreaking watching ur child in so much pain... I was an only child too... I didn't feel very bad until I was around eight to 14 years old... This is the time where kids start to really think and sometimes lose their self esteem .... In my case it was worse cause my father died when I was just six months old. I would go to school meetings with just my mum and I would cry cause everyone came with two parents... I would cry when a friend talk about their dads or siblings... I'm 29 years old today and this thing still hurts me... It's just something u have to pray and be supportive with ur child about... Be a sibling to her... Be her everything... Create time to talk to her about things.... It won't be easy. She will grow out of it in time, I did... Even with all the toys or friends in the world I was never happy cause of these things.. I found ways to get my mind off it... I took my cousins as siblings. I went on holiday at their houses and today I call my cousin sis when I need to talk. She has always been a sister to me... It still hurts that I never knew what it was like to have a father or sibling. But I survived. The main thing is I pray my child never goes through it cause I know the pain... I'm writing this in tears cause I know exactly how ur daughter feels.. My heart and love goes out to her. Please be supportive of this child. She is going through a lot.... It's a pity you had to go through this. |

osile2012: This one u are loving it, hope u can cook. I don't get it, you like some certain meals but you can't prepare them, yet you have two hands and a brain. Cooking doesn't kill, it's not an exclusive preserve for ladies only, go into your kitchen and fix yourself a proper meal it doesn't take more than 30 mins to cook a nice pot of soup. |

AfricanApple: lmagine you ar nly child of your parent, your father died while you were young. Now you got married and knowing that your mum has nobody to take care of her, you brought her in, after some months, you realized your mum is pregnant for your husband, you took her to the hospital to abort the child, the doctor says if the abortion is done she would die.
if you were in this shoe what will you do knowing if that child lives, he/she will continue to remind you of the pain you went through at this point in time. your opinion is highly needed This topic is ridiculous ? |
