Thanks for the kind gesture. I will try here and there to contribute although it is somehow difficult because of the prevailing circumstances. During our days we were following rules on what to post and what not to. Currently its free for all, people want to do things fast. The unfortunate thing is that this thread seems not to be moderated. I wouldn't envisage an argument with a newbie who feels he knows everything.

check if there is no conflict regarding frequencies. Change the ones that are similar

If you go to Lyngsat or Flysat and you see the Cband frequency indicated as 3675 L 2000 or 3675 R 2000 instead of the usual H or V just know you will need that teflon plate inside your Cband LNB

gkw: just to encourage all off footprint beam hunters ,i was surprised to pick eutelsat 7A @7W using a 1.8m prime focus dish (ku) and an unbranded lnb here in southern Africa (zim) considering the beam coverage .so dont shy away at the sight of the beam coverage, just do it

You newbies do some research before positing, and post in the right thread. Behind the scenes threads are thriving because open forums like these are kids' playing ground, members ask obvious questions before researching. Unfortunately its not receivable here bro. I got the info through a discusion with a friend on the other side of the equator who has coverage. Its a pity you are unable to continue from where we last stopped fta wise due to space problems.

I have also gone through this 'rights' issue, but what about EPL? These games are never fta and thats why they use that BISS key. There must be an alternative key they use for selected games for reasons best known to themselves.

kyleege: Kibukila thanks for coming forward, seems it was a technical problem. To Boadu, kindly explain to the house what need to be done if we experience this same problem again.

Currently there is very little we can do on this issue. IRIB either scrambles or removes video & audio on Tv3 before every live game. This apparently happens only on C band and not on KU band. Its deliberate, they have their reasons. If it's scrambled it could mean they change the key for the match and revert back to the usual one after the game, several channels do this. In this case a key for the game when it's scrambled must be found but if they remove video and audio we are in deep trouble, lets write emails, plenty, to try and ask for a reversal!
