In brief , I am a male married with 2 children , my daughter is 8 and son is 5, I also have my niece 11 and a house help 15 staying with us. On Monday I gave my wife Christmas shopping money to get foodstuffs ,hers and children clothing including our house help. Yesterday my wife went shopping, she bought clothes for herself , our children and nothing for the house help. She claimed that the girl doesn’t need any clothes for Christmas as long we fed and send her to school , the rest is her parents duties. The girl in question is my wife relative from the same village , this girl is so nice to our children she is like a second mother to them despite her being just 15 , I have never had any problem with her. I was mad at her that I told her , if she cannot treat another woman child well then she doesn’t deserve to be a mother , yes I did said some harsh words to her because of anger. She accused me of sleeping with the little girl which I told her she is mad and she couldn’t stop crying the whole night. This morning she didn’t make my breakfast and refuse greeting me back. Please house let me know if I overreacted

Your wife is a woman and you should understand her own position. She doesn't want her relative help to enjoy same privilege as her and her children before things get out of hand. Also, she isn't comfortable with the affection you are showing the girl. You were even wrong to quarrel her and say nasty things to her. Your good intention was spoilt by your action.

BTW we have seen relative househelp "chanced" madam in their homes or get pregnant for the oga for house.

And these people that are rejecting local rice are the ones that will be insulting government everyday for not establishing Industries for them as if, if government does that they will patronize it. Most of packaged rice here is free of stones I don't know where the complaint is from. All my life I've been eating local rice but I think I'm okay with that

This my life, has been filled with so many beautiful stories. Because today is Sunday, I will tell you a short gist about the Pastor who wanted to finger me. Some other Sunday, when I am not so tired I will tell you about how I was used to shine by one false prophet!

So I was married to Uncle Ex then and we had experienced a few miscarriages. Three to be precise. We attended a church which was local but Holy Ghost filled. You know those kind of churches that in the course of a service, a random member will stand up, walk straight to another member and say “Yes, Amen! God said I should tell you ………….” Well that was the church we attended. Before the fingering proposal came there were a few other things that caught my attention or made me smile about the operation of that church.

It is a big old school church, with branches around my country and maybe abroad. You know the kind of church that does yearly harvest and the women sew wrappers and blouse(I hate tying wrappers especially those two wrappers combo!) to commemorate the day, coming with foodstuff, goats and cash filing up in lines dancing to the altar i remember having a miscarriage during one harvest service? The one that church cleaning and toilet washing is scheduled amongst the women via groups and non washers are reprimanded in front of the church while faithful washers are blessed?

There was one prophecy come true concerning me in that church, so I won’t say they were a fake church. Let me gist you about two others first. So in one service I attended, this young man, a choir master stands up, filled with the Holy Ghost and begins prophesying. He walks up to certain people while high in the Holy Ghost declaring Words of Knowledge. The whole church was on fire. In such an atmosphere, most people would be in a sober prayerful mood praying God to send His minister their way.


Well this minister didn’t come my way this day, but he rounded up His prophetic time then the Pastor in Charge takes over the scene by walking up to him to lay hands on him and pray for him(it’s usually referred to as quieting the spirit). When we thought the drama was over, an older lady stands up filled with the Holy Spirit declaring “Yes Amen, yes Amen, “God says to him,(the choirmaster) that because he is being used mightily by God, he has become proud, so the Pastor should give him 12 strokes of the cane in front of the whole church!”

On hearing the prophecy, the now spiritually quiet prophet took to his heels and ran out of the church! Everyone bursted into uproarious laughter!

Yes he was caught and flogged on the palm rather lightly but he wailed like a baby nonetheless!

Next Sunday, I will continue with my adventures from this Church. Today, I want to leave with you the reminder that God can and wants to speak to each of us directly so you don’t do like I used to, looking for pastors and prophets to see for me when I had eyes of my own!
