No mind them, I have never seen when old men would willing be sacrificing the life of thier youths for thier dirty political games, they are hell bent on forcing us to suffer it's just so annoying, everyone must eat crumbs from their table and it's painful, the Japa never even start self , nah small small people eye don they open, if you fit leave , leave oohh these old men no won give anybody chance . Dvdpity: |
I know it will soon come to this...old fools, make we they naija they roast when una they live the life abi?, Una never see anything more people will leave after the election, make una try una self make we see. The one when PDAPC share for convention no put pressure on the naira abi? |
It's easy to tithe in societies where taxes are low or hardly enforceable like naija even when the arguments wether daddy freeze or 'other' Nigerian pastors is correct continues.. Now my question is this in a place like UK where as a basic earner you pay 20% tax a month and you still need to pay NI contribution and pension contributions, the question is, will it still be possible to pay an additional 10% of your gross salary as tithe? Now bear in mind that these deductions are before your living expenses. |
Chai and Army barracks just dey by the side of the road ooh!!! |
Deal with the irregular extortion at the airport..e dey frustrate our japaing.,! |
Una go they tell us how to us how to spend our money...tell us how are we going to generate this money, start from there first!! |
I have said it countless times you can't curb inflation in you don't follow the money...if not you increase interest rate tire...let's see if these new bills will not be distributed for the elections.. |
This Brexit, COVID and Ukraine war really messed up the UK economy ... |
take it easy man....some women love sex at particular time, position and get sexually satisfied in different ways take time to study what she really enjoy maybe you may have adjust a little, you can also sit her down and have a honest conversation with her...I'm suspecting the marriage is fairly new if it is it's normal for those arguments to occur and as regards not doing anything to generate money I hope you have discussed with her or ask her to know her skill set and try to encourage her rather than talking her down or calling her names . It's normally especially in the first year of marriage especially when the courtship period was quite short. |

Slow poison mixed with low IQ...if my biography pain you well well you for tell me your own... broke ass nigga omonnakoda: |
No one cares but my response pain you die,...you've been drooling over my response., , The swear when them swear for you na im they affect you so..slow poison.. The topic is a self reality check, that's why I had to personalize it to explain that the rule does not apply to everyone but of course you felt slighted and the reason for your outburst..I think say you get mouth. Employee wey mumu. omonnakoda: |
I know your type so I'm not surprised..you are nothing but a slow poison...your response says a lot about you,...you wan Japa with this your low IQ...so the the ability for people to earn more in life should be based on rent? And those that don't earn as much make them die or because of rent person no go they ambitious again? You dull I swear no wonder you dey use cup of rice they measure your salary. Today me and you alone go reach page 20 omonnakoda: |
Get lost idiot ...does your reality also include this your low IQ?.. you they irritate person I swear.., I stayed on the topic explaining that I used up almost everything I had to rent a place to start life afresh so but for anything it should inspire people especially does that can't meet up with rent and they have saved up some money if they can they should take the leap of faith but those that can't should remain in employment what is wrong in encouraging people to be entrepreneurs, you don't have to be working somewhere and be checking from time to time whether your salary for two months don pass your annual rent it's unrealistic, how many people two months salary go cover their rent annually for naija? You just they insult person as if nah me put you for the one you dey. If you no like my response just Waka pass, reality kill you there..ODE. I don ready for you idiot. omonnakoda: |
You are now sounding like a sadist., You want want me to feel bad at all cost for having my own opinion, I don explain tire, my reality is different so the OP should not generalize , you have been you using offensive words as part of your response and I have told you to free the argument and let's discuss the topic you don't know me and I don't know you. If selling gala, selling plantain and selling orange is degrading in your reality then so be it. And I ask again what your response to the topic? omonnakoda: |
It's not about ego, I responded to the topic .,I had to role play and use myself as an example...the truth is that you are trying to force me to see this your reality and I just can't, anyways let's leave this argument and back to the topic do you agree with the topic? omonnakoda: |
Ooh so I see were you are getting everything mixed up,..we are on the same page, as the topic is biased towards those currently in employment and those seeking to remain in employment, besides the reality of today is that people are grossly underpaid, so many newly employed graduates cannot even rent a face me I face you in cities like Lagos and any attempt to do this might almost eat up large chunk of their salary, so is the op suggesting that people should not work? remain homeless on the street? and for those that are willing to take the risk start up something with the little they have?...these are my questions?.. nobody will allow you quart with them unlike before due to the high cost of feeding, so what should people do if they earn less amount of money?.. but for anything this topic is trying to downplay the effort of young Nigerians trying to be independent out there..it's demeaning to say the least. omonnakoda: |
You keep shouting the "REALITY" so what's the reality? omonnakoda: |
This logic doesn't make any sense because as you said " reality is different for most Nigerians"...no matter how little we earn we should all look at the bigger picture in life , in my first job I was being paid =N=6,800 a month .e shock you?, my rent and light bill was half of that, so as you can see this logic will keep you stuck in a false reality for the rest of your life. omonnakoda: |
So what is wrong in roasting plantain and hawking oranges, we need to change this " employee' mindset as much as we can that's the new reality, graduates are now being paid 30k or less a month so how 60k a year house go be?..,get my point I'm not saying people should not be employed or if people choose to remain in employment for the rest of their life, I'm only questioning the logic of it and if I had gone by this logic I won't be where I am today.. omonnakoda: |
Lol!., most of this thread wey dey on code they encourage people to be employees for the rest of their life is damn irritating..dull logic if I must say, people may be willing to pay a little more just because of proximity, it may even be required for their career growth etc..the most important question is " are you getting value for what you paid for?"..as an employee I saved up some money resigned and rented a place with almost 70% of my savings then (three bedroom apartment) then adopted the India model, I used my palour and two rooms to start up my business I really struggled at first but the business stared growing and in six months time I had three staff and today the rest is history..my point is there is no formula that can guarantee things will work the way you expect, what if you lose that job?..all you have to do is to try and save the best way you can but if you are ambitious and you have a career ahead of you these benchmark will make your salaried income to be a bottleneck for growth!! |
If the thing never happen to someone close to you hmmm ...you no go know wetin they sup...my close pall cousin was kidnapped in ondo state the two guys that delivered the ransom were killed on the spot and still killed the guy kidnapped...nah wedding this guy go attend ooh... all I know be say 2023 will reshape naija.. I have always asked myself that in the six years I spent in Deloitte, I never heard of Tinubu as being a former staff as I joined the audit firm in 2001, with Hammond handing over to Odubogun as managing partner,..I mean not even in the grapevine, at least I heard of Obi ezekwesili but not once I heard of Tinubu, I know it's Deloitte U.S but as a sitting governor then we for use am they brag,..well what do I know? TheGift: |
By the time our public service move from due process audit to value for money (VFM) audit we will see start to see real change... telling us our roads have expired without telling us how you spent spent your budgetary allocations...the same thing in NNPC people are in top positions in this country collecting fat salaries even going on holidays abroad just for complaining that things are not working morning till night..ASUU they house for months them won still collect full pay...paddy paddy government!! |
Lies all lies...una think say everybody nah mugu for this country...just watch during election na this same new money them go share... foolish old men. |
Other nations are working their butts off, investing heavily in science and technology, education and encouraging large scale production but here you want us to worship God to achieve change...the Israelites worshipped God and fought physical battles to get their inheritance..it's work and pray!! |
If west Africa is not cursed how can a party that failed woefully after they promised us " CHANGE"..is preparing for a re-election and they are telling us to prepare for worse times ahead?..what can be worse than what people are going through now?? when two of my siblings were kidnapped in one year and I received calls from these kidnappers I begged and begged them for their release but they kept calling outrageous amount until a ransom amount was paid in millions at that moment I knew APC played all of us ...if them remove subsidy without providing subsidized transport, Nigeria go shut down for their very own eyes... useless old men!!! ambale: |
To pay tax of $460,000 in the U.S in the 90's he must have made around $1,642,857 as investment income/gains using the rate of 28% which was the rate as at that time , this will also mean that the amount invested would be around $20m+ because the highest return on investment around that time was 7%, so the question is how did he amass $20m+, where did all this income come from?...I have always admire how he strategize in politics but the tax excuse is a no no... |
When will west Africa start to build things on its own even if we don't get it right the first time, we will get it over time ( the learning curve effect)...at least we can do reverse engineering...look at all the flyovers built in portharcourt none, I mean none to an indeginious company like Gomene construction and the rest...we just have to start from somewhere... |
if I may ask how do you want the BDC to be restructured?. These are registered businesses if they have access to so much dollars it's because there are so many untraceable dollar transactions in the system which is mostly fueled by politicians...and understand this UK is redesigning it's currency because they have a new king unlike Nigeria that is re-designing to mop up excess cash in the system..just watch out few weeks to the election the Naira will appreciate and depreciate further after the election,..some of these politicians are BDC owners.. if Nigeria cannot track the dollars in it's circulation then we will pay dearly for it,this is one of the reasons Jonathan lost his election...if Obi does not track the dollars in our economy he will still fail.. SunMusk: |
Some people just they talk wetin them no Sabi...'they should prescribe them' as in how?..BDC operators full the streets of central London so what are they talking about?...just make people not to have have interest in these foreign currency simple...these politicians will destroy this country to a point of no return, I remember when a politician in Nigeria suggested that out budget should be written in Dollars...now in trying to solve a problem you further exacerbate the problem by redesigning the naira, making people to hoard more dollars and increasing the scarcity..the problem is coming from the dollar flow that took place during the party convention there is a huge gap as most of these money have been stored in paper form and unspent so it has distorted the circular flow of money...so we the citizens will have to pay for it by experiencing higher inflation and high level of interest rate...it's a no brainer!! linearity: |
The government should stop harassing it's citizen after they failed to do what is needed,..there is scarcity of dollars and the ongoing hoarding of the Naira, they know were the money is so they should stop these illegal move, what is stopping them from arresting those BDC operators at the airport? Abi nah official rate them they use??..a politician will be allowed to withdraw dollars and naira in (=N=) billions equivalent una go pretend as if it's normal, shebi Dem honour you by buying presidential form for you,..the e- transactions una introduce who go use am??..last last we all go dey alright. |
