No cause for alarm as long as the minimum balance meets your POF requirements....

Hi.. I just applied for my visa applications, did my biometrics and all. My agent mistakenly uploaded the bank statement that has a huge flow of 15k pounds sent from my sister-in-law.pls can I be denied visa because of that. I also put her house as where I would quarantine with an accommodation consent letter from her.. should I be worried..NB: I paid for priority

If the PND is going to reflected in the bank statement (POF) after print out .....then you are setting yourself up for issues....my opinion though..

Remove the PND before printing or while counting. Cos my uncle wants the money in my account to be on And, hope no issue.

TLS didn't even send me the tracking number..... tomorrow the DHL guy will call you when he's close to your house ...make sure you are at your collection point....it will end in praise....

Chill....the dispatcher will call you when he is close to your house.... that's what happened to me...

Yes. I tried tracking it, it keeps saying my tracking attempt is not successful. I even called Dhl and they said I should contact TLS, that the fault is from their end. We are supposed to receive an email from them when they release it to Dhl. I am so angry sef. It is just giving me unnecessary hypertension. If I had known, I would have collected it this morning.

Does the bank statement paper have Polaris watermark in it......as in inside the paper you see Polaris bank logo in it....if yes you are good to use it like that ...the embassy already have the contact details for their verification....

They said that’s the way they print theirs. Just on a plain sheet. Has the branch address (no email or phone number) and the customers address then stamp that’s all.

Not that I want to put you on the spot.....but I'm just wondering why you can get your bank statement printed from the bank directly with their letterhead and stamped....

Yea. The statement was stamped but nothing on their letterhead. So I thought getting a reference letter on their letterhead will just support my statement.

As it is now, I will use the statement like that cos I heard UKVI have a way of confirming the statement even when phone or email address of the bank is not on the statement used.

Some banks will state when the account was open in the reference letter..eg zenith , Gtbank etc....use your bank statement like that.... preferably stamped by the bank...mine had two stamps...don't use your own hand to delay your process...be smart....my opinion though..

I did this with Polaris. But the letter has the date I opened the account which was June 9th. Won’t that be an issue?

Like I literally opened the account for the purpose.

I don't think you have to upload the refusal letter ....you will be asked to state the reason why you were refused...a simple explanation will do , mine was just three lines....just know the month and year you were refused....just my opinion....

You normally upload your bank statement via the CAS sheild after you have passed your pre-CAS interview....in the interview they will ask you about the amount of money you will need as POF....not the statement...

My money was in fixed deposit before and will mature next week and I'll transfer to my savings account when i intend to start counting 28days

Don't even think of using that statement that has unsable balance written on it oohh...the rule is that your funds must be assessable to you...all the best

I have the maintenance fee lien on my account. I tried to print my gtbank statement now . In the summary section (where they put ones address, opening balance and closing balance ) there is “USABLE BALANCE”. The amount of this usable balance is my current account balance which has the maintenance fee subtracted from it.
Please my question is is this a concern ? Like how did yours play out? Was there any issue with it ?

Ulster university protocol no be here ooh.....if your name nah patience then go for it ....but for this September intake I think it may be too tight for you... except you are prepared for a situation were your CAS might be issued in October and you have to use super priority....but their students hardly get visa refusal I think cause they do their own verification especially with the POF you submit....my opinion though.

Unfortunately you can't you will have to wait till it's matured or else you will complicate your CAS issuance.....just brace yourself for the wait the volume is something else now ...some schools will still do their own verification checks on those statement...which may extend the CAS issuance date....it can't be fast track...

There two rates on OANDA the 'ASK' and 'BID' rate or it's simply explained as the 'SELL' or 'BUY' rate... as of today July 19th 2021 it's =N=565.520 (sell rate ) and =N=567.364 (buy rate) ....so if today is your visa submission date what ever pounds you need to show which is normally inclusive of your living expenses and possibly your balance school fees ...you have to multiply that by the rate to buy pounds...it will give you the minimum amount you need to show in Naira in your bank statement for at least 28days....my opinion though!!

If you have an arranged accommodation you can use that ...if not just put the school address while filling the application form....

@ Dumebi213.....I have replied him/her sometimes we get too emotional with things like this.....we are all here to learn...no soh one student dey use the rate to sell pounds instead of of using the rate to buy pounds on OANDA....with just a few naira difference he was denied....even the Bible say be slow to speak and be quick to listen.... He is actually right and his advice is valid, fulfill the condition of your offer and pay the deposit.

If you read thread, you will see where it is stated that universities do send pre-cas interview guide to students so they can prepare.

@Verifiedlu ...be calming down....we are all in this forum to learn ... nobody is a superstar with knowledge...from what I told you earlier I was expecting you to ask me if I I'm a student of Ulster university and how was the process for me ....but you immediately got angry with my response.....now let me burst your head small ....I paid my deposit for Sept session in March 2021....I got my pre-CAS interview questions in June 2021 and if you fail your pre-CAS interview your deposit will be refunded to you....I'm not saying yours will take a long time like mine....all you had to do was to read in between the lines ...best of luck !!

You have not gotten to the stage of pre-CAS interview nah.....you need to get an unconditional offer...then pay the deposit ....before your pre-CAS interview....one step at a time...I hope your TB certificate is ready??

Congrats .....did both of you submit the same time?......if No what POF did he use?.....in my own case our marriage certificate was given by the church/state/LGA.....there was no court marriage....any experience with these issues??

We paid for priority for only myself but his own was processed exactly 5 working days. I guess it's a total waste paying for priority for dependants cos its processed same time with that of the main applicant. Atleast that's what happened in my case.

This issue has been addressed severally....use any UK address you like whether the school or your uncle's address you will be fine.....just ensure when filling your form you declare that you have a relative living in the UK....I used my in-law's address.

I would be staying with an uncle. His address is on my TB cert . Should I include it as well while filling the Visa application so it can correspond or I can choose school address instead?

No qualms if you like use 60days self ...the rule says at least 28days....what matters is that the ECO can calculate what your minumum balance was from the day you printed out your statement.....

Now on day two pay some amount into the account...so when you print that day becomes day one and your 14m is Bal b/f....run the account a little bit by paying some money in... as I stated earlier maybe weekly...you can also make withdrawals but don't go below the required limit...on the last day pay money in maybe 2k then print the following day....all you trying to do is to let the ECO see the 28days well....a student was denied because the ECO claimed he/she couldn't see the 28days...even when it was stated in the bank reference letter....he is appealing the refusal as we speak.....my opinion though.

@OBYNOWEST.....I intend to apply for my wife but the marriage certificate I have is the one issued by the church and it has federal government of Nigeria....we didn't have a court marriage...I hope I can use the certificate....I already have my visa...

Ur marriage certificate, her passport with ur surname and some few pictures together especially during that registry wedding pictures is enough..

Don't sweat about it......I used a different address from my own school in my TB certificate....if the ECO needs clarification on that address he/she will call you or you will be sent a mail....just go ahead with your application....

Oshareh....the answer is nope the money has to be in her account...it can only be in your account if you are both submitting applications together...

However I printed my statement last week after the money has been in my account since April.

Will my balance be checked if I submit my application?
