Have you been issued CAS?...if yes which documents did the school assess?

Wonderful people of Nairaland, my transcript has a different month and year of birth but I’ve normal affidavit showing my actual date of birth so now I want to apply for my visa and my transcript is needed . Should I use the normal affidavit or do another one that will mention the DOB error on my transcript?

BCU is notoriously slow bro...the school fine Sha...but if you no get liver to wait free that school ooh....my opinion though..

But make sure you declare that you have an inlaw residing in the UK when filling you application in case they ask about the address....that is if you choose to use the address of your inlaw....get his/her full names on their passport as well as their passport number....it will come handy...

For the first question ...yes you will be ask to provide a UK address..
For the second question ...you can either use the school address or your sister-in-law's address....
For the third question.....you can choose to quarantine at your sisters-in-law's place....

Good evening great mind,I have been reading about address on TB test certificate,is IOM going to ask for this address when I go for the test?
Also am doing family of 4,wifey is the student while me and our two kids will be dependant to all apply at the same time using same POF and we intend to stay at my sister in-laws place in the UK when we get there,my question is can we use her address for the TB test and also can we say we will be staying there for quarantine when applying for visa??

for your accomodation and what. addreess was on your tb test result.

They request for POF and even passing the pre-CAS interview before CAS is issued...

Did Ulster request for Statement of account before issuing CAS and also how long did it take before you got your CAS. Am Ulster applicant too.

@kemmy2203...please did you pay 100% of your fees?.....and will I be expected to add the balance of my fees to my spouse POF....or my spouse will just have to show POF which is about =N=4m...thanks

I don’t know what to make of my situation. I did the biometric last Friday and I used the standard package, only to get a message from TLS today for collection. No emails sent in between. Should I be worried?

You don't have to tell them they know from your database....they will put a small kind of.. I think green envelope with priority written on it...this will be included in the larger transparent envelope which has your passport and you will take it to the next office for your biometrics....

It's easy you can do it all by yourself...I don't know and have never met any agent...I got all my help from Nairaland...

Well I can't be too sure of that answer because the whole purpose of quarantine in the first place is to make sure you don't have the virus before you can mingle with the populace ..... I gave that answer because I believe if people are expected to quarantine the government normally have designated hotels were you will be expected to quarantine....I think it usually 1,800 pounds or so ...but I don't think Nigerian students expected to quarantine.... except maybe they transit through countries with high covid risk.....this is just my humble opinion I may not be entirely correct...

I guess the 55pounds did some magic....and yes it was delivered to my location...even without tracking details .. someone just called me and said ..." I'm close to so so so and so place , please where do you live, I gave the man from DHL the description and boom he was in front of my house before I even drop the call....it can only be God.

You are right VI seems to be faster in some little ways.

I used VI....and you may want to choose some of TLS added services...i think I paid an extra 55pounds to use the priority service...please anyone that has used ikeja priority service should confirm this...I think VI is faster as my application was transferred to the UKVI office just 4hours later....my opinion though..

For the first question: NO ...I was not pre-informed infact I was in a bus traveling back to my location between ore and Benin..just after Okada...when the call came in we were very close to a military check point ....by force sweat catch me..lol.
For the second question: insufficient funds then they just introduced this OANDA converter....

A lady called me from the UKVI office number starts with +27 ...when I saw the number I knew it was from them and I was in a bus so everybody was listening to our conversation...fear no let me reject the call...there is a case were an applicant was denied as he was inaccessible...the questions were like
(1). What is the maiden name of your spouse?
(2). She asked about were I will be staying in the UK nd I explained the address I used was the address of my school
(3). Were will you quarantine when you get to the UK ? I answered by saying "in the hotel"....next I heard was whao.... although I think Nigeria students are not expected to quarantine...
Then she said if I have further questions I will send you an email (politely)....after the conversation when I looked back everybody was attentive infact driver don reduce the car stereo....I was in transit on that day...lol!!�

Goodday @ AA07...Please help me if you can , I did my TB screening early but the address on the certificate is the address of my inlaw's address in the Uk.....I intend to include additional information as regards this issue do you think this could be a problem?
and has anyone been in this situation before?

You should be able to know if you can meet the conditions. I was certain I could meet my conditions & I did.

Thank you very much. It remains spouse's application to be submitted. The issue with that is we mistakenly stated spouse not traveling with the main applicant when filling the form. Do you think this is misrepresentation?

How can we address this issue if we want to fill the spouse's form?

I think you should be careful here, find out whether the certificate issued by the church which usually from LGA registry is accepted, my school specifically emphasized that it should be the certificate issued from the federal government i.e Ministry of Interior.....I may be wrong but just be carefull....

please i would like to get an expert opinion from you guys i used my in-law's address that lives in London and my school is at Birmingham when i went to for my TB test and the address is now on the certificate.....will that be a problem during my visa application?

when you get to GTBank ask them to print the statement on the paper specifically used for Visa purpose , you know there two types the statement from the bank, the one for bank reconciliation and a  statement for visa purposes, and also collect a covering letter too, although its at a cost, I hope this helps.  I think you can use anyone of the two, but the one for visa purpose is much more clearer.

I know how you feel, i felt the same way too, i felt time was against me,i dont think you understand me, walk to a court house and see (1) how hard it is to get information. (2) you are talking of documentation when you dont have a proforma of what you are preparing. I pray you dont experience denial if you are a first timer, when i was denied i thought of the 3 W's ( WHAT WENT WRONG), i guess you are over 20 years, do you think you can get a judge to sign a back dated document, especially when you dont have a proforma, think of the lagal and cost implicaton, i even have a joint account with my brother which qualifies me but i dont want to take chances. i hope am not discouraging you, if you believe in miracles anything is possible all the best!

I have decided to wait till january, but i will be transfering the money to my account before i re-apply, i dont think i have seen anybody that has been given a student visa using this route, i submitted in abuja, i was going to the visa office everyday after my refusal for 3 weeks, though i was staying close by, out of curiosity i was asking students especially the ones that used legal guardian stuff, for those that i saw thier application they were all denied,and the same reason - No evidience of relationship-, at this point dont be too ambitious, make your resarch properly, there is a huge difference between a legal guardian and a guardian, even when you go to the court and even ask lawyers they get these definations twisted, the money i even spent consulting lawyers was more that my submission fee, so finance and time was never a problem,i only opted for this route because my cousin who is a senior public office holder, had well over 20 million in his account and had good refrence too, so i have decided to transfer the money to my account and wait.

i think this option of using a legal guardian is too vague, and i think its given them a leeway to deny students visa, its better to wait and plan well or make proper research.

i just want to add something based on my exprience, for those planning to use a bank statement from their legal guardian, i think it a 10% chance, i used it and was denied even with an affidavit from the court, i think they are expecting the student to bring a court document showing, e.g. adoption, my friend even used a notorised copy and was still denied, i spoke with a lawyer that told me that since i was over 18 it would be difficult, i spoke with another lawyer that adviced me to use an affidavit but i was still denied.

I think the court document has to do with some documentation, dont allow this guys to add your submission fee to the CROWN.

I know the rules, am not asking if its possible/legal to use a joint account , i just want to know if anybody has used a joint account for his/her student

application.

Please i would like to know  if any student has used a joint account under this ukba tier 4 student visa, my elder brother and I has a joint account, which is

roughly about =N=2,100,000 and i intend to use the statement for my application (student visa),

I was denied 1 yr ago, when i used my legal guardians account. i realy dont know what my chances are, any advice would be appreciated.
