This is the reason we advise people get a travel health insurance cover. No one knows tomorrow. If they had a cover bringing the corpse back home will have been sorted. I feel for her but at the same time i hope she is not there for visit ooo, i hope it is for stay. MamaOO: It's not about being wise or not. That's about how much a normal, no frills, no extra burial costs in the US. From buying of the casket, to buying plot at the cemetery, to headstone costs, grave diggers and all. Google is your friend.
Mind you, it will cost waayy more to fly the corpse to a Nigeria.
Such a sad situation and I'm pretty sure the wife is here to have a child. May God help her and her family. |

Speaking of self esteem, I think you women who think 'all women got to stick together' are suffering from one. Get something better to focus on and No, I wasn't intimidated by her presence. Maybe you are by mine. Your job is to criticize fairly and not tarnish the image of others or rather still bring their private life to nought. If this is your job then you are bad at it. Because she intimates you, you feel writing bad stuff about her will make you feel better. She will get better with well structured critics not bad mouthing from a depressed being. Oh yes I like bisola and her act in skinny girl in transit made me love her. |
Celebrities › Re: A Nairalander's Take On The Last 5 BBNaija Ex Housemates by pinkhill(f): 4:35pm On Apr 15, 2017 |
EbonyMira: Good day everyone. I will love to write a short piece about the house mates as I've come to know them. I recently met them during the busy hours of the week; when the winner of the Big Brother Naija show was invited to our company. We as one of the many sponsors of the South African based show were elated to have the famous house mate under our very own roof. As usual, I was the lead inquirer on our social media platform. I interviewed some of the house mates. But, this case was different. We were expecting Efe and Bisola only. They were the only ones contacted and the impromptu visitation was startling to say the least. I did not expect any of the house mates to make it to our corner until next week (after Easter). So I didn't have the time to draft questions for them both.
To my surprise, and that of the company I work for, all the house mates in the BBN final were present. I had a chance to meet EFe, Bisola, Debie Rise, Marvis and Tboss. Unknown to them, I also had the chance to psychoanalyse them all and evaluate who is who: real, fake, and if what we watched on the show was actually truth or propaganda created to boost ratings and all.
Below are my short evaluations:
Debie Rise- She was quiet,a black beauty, nice, friendly and composed. Totally what you'll expect from her. She easily faded in the midst of admiring eyes pointing towards Efe. Who would blame her? Tboss and the others did as well. One couldn't distinguish the other house mates from the admiring workers struggling to take a pic or two with the BBN winner. Apart from this, Debie was accepting and welcoming. She looks like the girl next door you can easily confide in during times of trouble. I totally respect her person.
Marvis- She is amazing, friendly and very humble. One would expect her to hold the hands of Efe and drag him up and down the place since logically, Efe is seriously crushing on her. Surprisingly, she stayed behind them all, Efe, the fans and admirers and one wouldn't have been able to distinguish her from a fan too. She gave him all the space he needed as the centre of attraction was him and him alone.
Efe- I know, everything I've said here is mostly about Efe, so you may ask, "What else do you have to say?" Well, Efe is really down to earth as a person and as a celebrity. The way he spoke to one of our employees who happens to hail from the south-south region was so humbling I wanted to lie flat and shout 'Migwo' to him. He flows well in pidgin and knows how to talk to people. I can remember the brief convo I had with him. I tried taking a selfie with him alone and suddenly my phone went off. The way he said-"E b lyk say your phone done off o" made me almost burst into laughter. His simple mindedness and quick wits makes him a spectacular character to have around.
TBoss- The most misunderstood character in the house. I for one voted for Bisola and Efe. I spent a lot of money voting these house mates and I expected them to be as perfect or flawed as they were on the popular TV show, but to my disappointment, I was amazed at the gentle soul known as Tokunbo. Her appearance gives her away as one who is exposed, raunchy, naughty, a trouble finder and an attention seeker. She surprised me the most out of all the BBN house mates. Her composure was senile and impertinent. She didn't look like a trouble maker. She just stayed behind everyone and spoke with some employees. Her rebuttal when one of our employees asked her 'who she was' was so classy and funny. She is an easy going personality, a being everyone will love to have around. The star is her starting point.
Bisola- I was a huge Bisola fan before I met the rude, ill-mannered, and vile bully. I found her character nauseating to be around. I watched her every move as she dragged Efe all around the building acting as his body guard. Her quest for attention was disappointing to say the least. She lost a huge fan of hers. I guess she is good an actress as everyone says she is. I do understand why TTT could use and dump her and why she still remains unmarried. Her rude countenance was so obvious, everyone stayed away from her and couldn't take a single picture with her except the senior staffs and management. At every turn, people were cheering Efe and taking loads of selfies, she stormed into the crowd each time to drag Efe from the midst of his admirers into an office to make herself seem important. Her person was just plain despicable and juvenile. Women are the real enemies of other women. Were you intimidated by her presence or you are depressed. Were you expecting us to cheer your low self esteem or your unprofessional attitude. One could easily show this to your employers and you might lose your job Keep your bad intentions to yourself. Bisola is not perfect and she is not faking it. Bisola has been in the game for long and she will be successful. |

My department colleague is hardly on sit during working hours. he loves to leave to chat, socialize and even do personal runs during work. I have tried to help him severally by discussing (one-on-one) as par 'man to man', but no effect. He is simple and very intelligent but not focused because he is to playful. This has affected our department's output severally, as personally I discussed this matter with the HR, my own Boss and other familiar Bosses, but all seem not to be too concerned. They just sympathize. I love my work, we are well paid and really doing well as a company.

AutoReportNG: According to dictionary.com, insurance is being defined as an arrangement by which a company or the state undertakes to provide a guarantee of compensation for specified loss, damage, illness, or death in return for payment of a specified premium. Nothing gets an average Nigerian scared that the word Insurance due to some misconceptions or maybe due to some experience they with the firm. It is a known fact that driving around in Lagos needs special skills, and a whole lot of patience. But what we don’t really know is how to keep safe on the roads and most importantly, how to protect ourselves from any type of accident.

Insurance is mandatory for car users and owners in Nigeria as an accident can not be predicted even though we all pray for journey mercies whenever we step out every day. Here are some reasons why you need car insurance.
1) It’s an act, it's the law Ever heard of third party insurance act? Well, that act is not there as a joke, that act was made for drivers in Nigeria to have at least a third party insurance cover to drive on the road. Most states require drivers to possess bodily injury and property damage liability to drive legally. Hence the need for comprehensive insurance.
2. Insurance is an investment After receiving auto car loans, getting a policy is the next step to protecting the substantial investment you’ve made on your vehicle. After buying a home, purchasing a car is probably one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make, so you want to do all you can to preserve it.
3. It is your health insurance in case an accident occurs If you don’t have health insurance or have a minimal coverage, applying for policies that offer medical payments coverage can help you pay for collision-related medical expenses up to a certain amount.
4. It protects your assets from liability lawsuits Having liability lawsuits for body injuries or property damages can bring you to financial ruin if you don’t have adequate protection, nut if you have a liability coverage, it will pay for your legal defense and keep your assets out of jeopardy.
5. Cover damages to your vehicle from unexpected events Let’s face is, this is Nigeria. Anything can happen at anytime. Your car could be stolen, vandalized, or damaged by weather or a host of other contingencies at any time. Your car insurance will protect you from these losses that might ensue.
6. Your vehicle is covered even after a collision Some policies will include rental reimbursement coverage, which helps you pay for the cost of a rental car after you are involved in a covered accident. This way, you will have a way to get around while your automobile is being replaced or repaired.
7. Keep your vehicle’s accessories safe You can apply for pricing estimates on policies that include additional protections, such as CD or stereo coverage. This will pay for losses in the event that your CD’s or stereo equipment is stolen.
8. Prevents an accident from forcing you into bankruptcy One serious collision is sometimes enough to put the uninsured on the brink of bankruptcy. Without insurance, you could lose everything, and that is not worth the risk. The money you would have to spend on medical expenses, lawsuit judgments, and repairs is well worth the investment in a plan.
9.Third Party Property damage Car Insurance covers third party, third party property damage and unlimited legal liability that might arise in the process.
10. Peace of mind Last but not least, the peace of mind that comes with knowing you have insurance is absolutely priceless. Comparing quotes on quality plans can help you drive with more confidence because you will know that you are protected against whatever may happen to you on the road.
Below are some few good Insurance companies that can provide trusted services.....
AIICO Insurance PLC. IGI Insurance. Axa Mansard Old Mutual Nigeria. Cornerstone Insurance. Consolidated Hallmark Insurance. FBN Life. Leadway Assurance PLC. Zenith Insurance PLC etc

Important System Update PLEASE READ EVERY LINE CAREFULLY, IGNORANCE WILL NOT BE AN EXCUSE
Hello Participants
GHW has always been known as a frontier force in implementing new features focused towards the sustainability of this platform. We are always working day and night to ensure that your money is safe and the system balance.
We have noticed with extreme displeasure; an increasing number of mischievous members (mainly from the African region) defaulting on their PH only to wake up at their convenient time to drown our support system with account re-activation requests. This has got to STOP!. In our normal approach to issues, we have decided to deal a heavy blow on this trend and eradicate it once and for all .
Within 72hours we will commence the rollout of the following features
•Any member who exceeds his penalty date will lose 15% of his referrals ; permanently •Any Member caught uploading a fake POP will lose 35% of his referrals ; permanently •Account Re-activation will be automated, and if you are blocked for uploading a Fake POP, your account will be suspended for 1 month ,along with the cancellation of existing referral bonuses (currently the standard), the system will also cancel all new Referral Bonuses awarded to your account during its suspension period. •If your account is blocked due to lack of payment and upload of required POP, your account will remain blocked for 3 weeks, all bonus incurred during this period will be cancelled as well. •Members will be able to change/modify their contact phone number when logged in •Members will be able to change Bank Account number (ONLY) •Automatic Confirmation of Payments : All payments not flagged as fake POP MUST be confirmed within 72hours of POP upload, else the system will automatically confirm the payment. Flagging as Fake POP will halt this action. Also planned is the decommissioning of profile pictures, all profiles will bear icons based on their Credibility Score.
•Scarlet (Red) Members: 1- 95% CS •Bronze Members: 96-500 % CS •Gold Members: 501 – 1000 CS •Diamond Members: 1000 & above
Matching Algorithm
We have adjusted the system on PH pairing to factor in Credibility Score, Maturity Date, Level of commitment and other system variables. This feature will make the maturity percentage on the dashboard to be obsolete, it will be updated to report on Weekly progress instead daily. We have also noticed the flood of ticket coming from our African community on matching time. Please be rest assured that the platform is as stable as a rock.
There are lots of factors considered in managing PH pledges of over a trillion value. To reduce the amount of members per PH pairing (total number of members you will be required to PH to), the new algorithm will commence jumping back and forth (0 day – 30th day) to find suitable PHs that meet the criteria . This implementation is already live on the platform, but because we did not announce it officially, we decided to get a grace period for defaulters yet to be cancelled by the system (this is one of the reasons for the late re-matching).
Important Question; do you know anybody who has lost money in GHW before? . Your answer will definitely be a no. And it is our promise that it will remain this way.
Please we urge you, if you are no longer interested in this community, please cancel all your pledges before you abandon your accounts. GHW capital base is enough to withstand it, DO NOT leave it to be matched when you are fully aware that you are no longer interested, this is causing head-ache for our dedicated members and our support team. All members are encouraged to help each other, it is important that you contact the member that is to PH to you, incase he/she is ignorant of the matching. GHW is a community, our being here is entirely up to its members, and we promise not to let you down . Zero Downtime, Zero Breaks , Zero Losses . Long Live GHW
Yours truly Waig Senior Correspondent GHW |
