ChicoBoy: Hey Guys good evening.
A massive appreciation for the job you do here.
I have a small issue I need clarification on.
I applied for my visa a few weeks ago using an admission from Conestoga college. Just now I received an offer from Carleton university for MEng. Will this affect the outcome of my application?? How do I go about effecting this change to my application. A friend says I could go ahead and effect change when I get to the POE..
PS: I have been required to do my medicals.
Super Thanks. You can effect the change at POE, thats what i did |

thesoj: You may go through the links in this post to get started on finding schools and more. If you still feel lost after going through the hyperlinked post, then start reading from page 1 of Part 8, and read at least 100 straight pages. Good things don't always come easy, but you will thank yourself after doing the reading as it will help you gain significant insight into the process. You can come back to ask questions once you are done with the recommended reading.
Also, don't forget that Google is your friend. i just sent you a pm. |

scrollmeout: @ewagbamio. Nice one from you. It shows u really appreciate it gers when they give their time to help others. @Bellong and @erictack203, good job guys. I have some questions that may help others with their application too
1. Is it really true that renewed passports carry the same passport numbers? Mine was renewed but has different numbers.
2. Ewagbamio, what exactly do you mean by an unabridged birth certificate. Aside from carrying both parents' names, are there any other requirements? By the way...those guys at PH NPC are very helpful @no1. New passport don't carry same passport numbers. And you can have visa on and old expired passport and have a new passport . NIS stamp cancell without prejudice on the old one. And the visa will still be valid |

It's an accessing body that access your qualification in Australia, if your qualification is to be accessed under them, depending on the Occupation you intend to access towards a Visa Sub-Class.

NNBB2012: If your visa is about to expire and you apply for post-study visa, you would be given a bridging visa as soon as you lodge. The bridging visa would take effect as soon as your student visa expires pending the time your post-study visa would be granted. Hi NNBB2012 I have tried sending you pm you have not replied. Please how can I contact you. |

chukky6443: Hi fellas. Please I need urgent help. I want to change career path to engineering (starting with an undergraduate study) in Australia, I already have a degree in Biochemistry (UNN). This is what I would love to study after rediscovering myself and having developed a high skill in engineering and technology. The course I studied at school wasnt really what I wanted but family and other issues made accept the offer then, but have never been able to do anything with it since graduation. I dont know if it's too late to go for this now as I am 25 now. I know this could be a rare case, but I can bare all that is required. Should I rewrite WAEC or take A-Level exam or apply directly with my 7year old WAEC certificate and BSc transcript? how possible is it for me to get accepted into a school that offers my course of choice and also the possibility of getting a visa approved from the embassy following my condition? Although I believe that with God all things are possible, but I still need advice. Please anyone with vast experience should help me out. Do you want to leave the science line entirely, if not you could try Nursing or There is Masters of pharmacy in some Austrailian universities for people with science background for 2years and you qualify as a Pharmacist at the end , thou quite expensive the cheapest is about 30k per year |

NNBB2012: If you know you have the required points for 190, why not follow the steps and see if your application would fly. You must find your occupation on CSOL list. Unfortunately, the occupation is not on the SOL list hence you cannot apply for Independent visa but rather CSOL. It means you can only be nominated by state, regional area or family. Check any state nominating your occupation and know their requirements. Some of these requirements may not be easy to get from outside. As a matter of fact, this is supposed to guide you as per the choice of your University. And also check with your assessing body to know their requirements. You may require licence or registration before you can be assessed-http://pharmacycouncil.org.au/content/assets/files/Examination%20Guides/Flowchart%20-%202012.02.08.pdf . It is not straightforward. My view, you should consider to do your Master where you may have extra points that would enhance your PR chances later. Thanks alot |

deedee0: Please, what's your experience with UBA? Other banks e.g first, daimond and GTB allows you withdraw £170 per day and first and Gtb will charge 420 per withdrawal , but UBA will only give you £50 and charge 1k for withdrawal , I then decided to use pos for UBA the rate was N382 to £1 as against using pos of GTB which rate was N352 to £1 |

TheBae: Lol I'm so surprised that you guys find it strange. Everyone (including myself) I know gets charged 1k by GTB for withdrawing from an ATM in the UK but anyway, we know GT is hella shady! I'm going to be with my currency converter/calculator all day errday no matter the location. Maybe there is something wrong somewhere, I used my GTB card yesterday in the UK was charged N420, diamond has not sent me alert since yesterday that I withdraw and that bank called UBA na only God go save them |

NNBB2012: You can apply from Nigeria. You don't need to have a family here in Australia before you apply provided that you are eligible. Visa 489 is a temporary Regional sponsored visa which will lead to PR after 2years. Hi NNBB2012 and others Please help me see my case and advice me on the best route. I have the following: 1. Addmision into university of Wollongong MPH (1.5) years 2. Addmision into Tasmania for masters of pharmaceutical science (23months). Can I get post study with any of this after study. A senior colleague advised me to apply for 190 straight. Here is my data QualificationB.pharmacy (5yrs) =15points Age 25-32= 30points Experience= 0points ( less than 3 years, just internship and Nysc) English score =10points If I add the 5point from 190 visa my total is 60point. What should I do? |

lawland: Well, i don't know where to start in answering your questions. From my little knowledge, no Tafe offers Hair dressing to international students and even if there is, getting a student visa will be another hurdle as you might not be able to statisfy GTE. As for post study visa, you can only be eligible for graduate visa (graduate stream) if you study 2 years in Australia and your occupation is on the SOL not CSOL. Maybe if you can elaborate on why you choose Hair dressing, i can be able to offer more advice on your questions. I am currently studying at Tafe here and will be graduating this December. Please those that mean that after studying for two years and your course is not on SOL you don't have a short at post study |

Lolly1204: I finished 2012 and the truth is I applied for public health in another school but unfortunately I wasn't offered admission,so I decided to go for the proposed course with the intention of still applying for public health later. Hi lolly I have same profile as yours, I applied for PGD in public health practice and was delayed. I think the VO except us to go for masters straight. Like me, I think our best bet is looking for MPH straight. There was this girl few pages that got her Trv for MPH going to saskwantoon. So I will advice you apply to more school for fall 2016. |
