Thank you I have read it. Aside from the evaluation, does she need to register and write an exam? Its not clear
.

She does not need to write evaluating exam in order to get PR or get into the EE pool, all you need is ECA from PEBC Register first on pharmacy gateway $325cad and document evaluation fee $600,. Get on it because PEBC is getting really overwhelmed.

Yes, it is advisable to obtain and keep evidence of any/all large inflow of funds into your account that serves as your POF. AVO has recently started requesting explanation of source of certain POF from Nigerians. I believe it has to do with the recent upsurge of fraudulent POF documents presented by applicants from Nigeria.
Hello. Please can you reply my email.

Hello All. I am new to this forum. I have been reading through and I must commend how cooperative, helpful and supportive you all are here.
I got my ITA 10 days ago and I'm arranging my documents.
However,I'm worried about my NOC - Architecture being a regulated profession.
Do I have to go through the Canadian Architects registration process to be successful in my APR?
Was i right to do my ECA with WES, rather than the CACB?
I have 15 months experience as a construction manager and supervisor, but 6.5 years as an Architect. I'm wondering if I should just use one of the other two as they are not regulated.
I would appreciate any help I can get on the process for regulated professions, especially- Architecture. Thanks.

Also, I have half my POF in my wifes account in Canada (she's there on PGWP, but I surprisingly got a higher CRS score and the ITA). Does the POF have to be in the PA's name or we can prepare a document stating that our funds are mutual and shared?

Thanks again.
Apart from medical doctors and pharmacist which use their licensing bodies, other regulated profession can use either WES or Iqas for EE,so you should be fine. You will only need your professional body for you to be able to practice in Canada.

Use your work experience as an Architect for EE.

Her account with LOE should be fine as she is accompaning spouse.

[quote author=doyen06 post=58257716]I salute all members of this thread, especially the old members. I'm making this enquiry for my sister. She's a fresh graduate of the department of pharmacy of the University of Lagos. I want her to start the pr journey any moment from now and I had like someone to shield light on how to evaluate her degree and if there's any registration she has to do. I'll appreciate comments from fellow pharmacists on the thread and all other members. [/quote

Go through this website. Thats the pharmacy examining board of Canada website.

One of the requirement is licensing statement form Pharmacy council of Nigeria. I am NOT sure if she will be able to obtain this owing to the fact that she only has a provisional license until she finishes internship.

Hi dear, been following up with the thread and tryna see if you were still able to get the info from your husband. My wife has a background in medlab but desires nursing in canada. Someone had told us about the 19months program at york uni and said she has a chance since has a good GPA.

I am still researching and just want to know if she has to do prerequisite courses first. Did your hubby choose Ontario as his province or he immigrated through other means? Also is OSAP still on and is it grants they give or loans?

Will be glad if you can give some info you know, Thanks.
Hi, it's my friends hubby that's I was talking about.
Yes he did take some prerequisites like psychology online from Trent university or so.
OSAP is more like a loan, I think you repay half over a period of time once you start working and based on your income.

There is also practical nursing she can do

Hi, I don't know if you have solved your husbands problem tho but be aware that as far as he is a pharmacist, his eCA must be from PEBC.

Someone on nairaland was refused for this. He tried to outsmart the system by evaluating via another body to save cost. He was refused and re-applied with PEBC ECA.

I heard it's very expenive. Even more than MCC but this cana waka sometimes it's not How fast, but how well!
This might be true, but still not clear with Cic becos they stated if your experience is not in community, hospital or industrial pharmacy you can use was.
To be on a safe side he should just do with PEBC.

c.f. esosareal : The cost is registration with pharmacy gateway=$325+tax and documents evaluation fee =$600

Wifey would have been. But she is a pharmacist, which will mean that her credentials have to be reviewed by PEBC with respect to a particular province. Hence we felt it will be much easier using my profile as the PA. U knw u also have to consider the ease of getting a Job. You knw hw it is for pharmacist and the requirements before they are allowed to practice
This is not true, she can do her document evaluation and choose any province , this does not affect her EE, province comes in place after you have cleared your Evaluating and qualifying exams. Besides you can move from one province to the other after qualifying you only need to write jurisprudence exams.

I just want to apologise to you all for the silence. You know how stressful bank jobs are and by the time I get home I don't even feel like doing anything else except sleeping. Also, for some reason I was finding it very difficult to login because I couldn't remember my login details.

For everyone who has received their PR's I just want to say a huge congratulations! For those of you who are still on the journey don't worry, you'll get there sooner than you know and in the end it'll be worth it.

Oh and one more thing, if you're already here in Canada and are still job hunting and your experience is in the financial services industry, let me know so I can give you some interview tips and tricks. Trust me, many of the interview questions they ask are constantly repeated.

Good luck!
Good to have you back smiley. The success on the thread has been wonderful

We applied about 4 months ago. Then I had about 9 months left on my trv. Now I will be done ending of this month. Technically, I have 4 months left on my trv. And right now, I am yet to get any job in my field or at least a job that requires a degree. So medical mail was the least expected because of the time left and the long processing time ishhh......
Well no harm doing the medicals for now.

Keep praying and searching for a job, if you get one in Noc 0,A,B then you will be good to go.

Hello house, I am not totally new on this platform but I am unable to login to my other account for sometime now but I have been reading all comments as a guest.

I applied for sowp in October, end of October but I got this mail on Friday saying

'These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage
where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application'....

What does it mean, Is it an assurance or it still doesn't determine anything. I am even coughing seriously at the moment and I am on drugs.

Who is in my shoes please, I can see the poster above me got a similar message.

Happy Sunday
Take the email instruction to a designated CIC clinic and complete the a medical test.

For your cough , you can wait for about 5-7 days , seeing that most antibiotics ( assuming that what you are on). effect should have kicked in by then..

Its ur husband's account balance that matters most since he is the one there ( and seen as your sponsor). Your account balance is just a help function to uplift ur husband's. Your hubby will know how much he needs in his acct.
..

We did not add my account statement when my husband applied, he only submitted his own account statement.

Hello house I just got my 1st program study permit extended to November 2017 because of my Co -op program. I intend running my 2nd program by septemeber 2017. Please should my husband apply for a Spouse visa or Visting Visa to Canada because we intend applying next month?
Better off applying for SOWP, instead of visiting, that what I did for my husband.

IQAS is currently overwhelmed with a large volume of applications. Understandably, a lot of applicants are switching to them due to their faster processing.

For instance, they have a backlog as they are yet to open surface mails that came in from last week Wednesday.

Give them till the end of this week, you should be able to get an acknowledgement from them by then.
They are truly overwhelmed, my husband acknowledgement email came in February 13 after sending all documents since January 16 or so and we just got his ECA report on Sunday
