it happened to a friend of mine,we were classmates in secomdary school and we also talk and share gists,until she told me she was getting married.and later i heard the guy married another person very funny story but not a nice one,
she has worked with about three insurance companies in marketing dept,notable nones at that,and she was always getting awards as best marketer wherever she was and got promotions very fast,i always envied her and thought of how tlented she was,cos she was very successful,we didnt know that she always had to sleep with those customers to get their paronage,a very demeaning thing to do for a job,her fiancee didnt know until a month to their wedding,his elder brother caught her with his oga in nicon hilton,and it was obvious it was a runs thing and this happend after her traditinal marriage,which implies she could go on and on even in her matrimonial and that was how he called it quits
when i heard the story i was shocked thats ,that was how she was making success in her,job,meanig she was been used as a glorified prostitute to earn money for her firm.toobad that for her .
her story leaves me thinking,these money making empolyees have really contributed to adultery and immorality in nigeria.please save our youth

i'm not saying the guy was right by insisting he must preach even when he was asked to stop disturbing people but why would you guys suggest

after the harsh words and questions from her (in my crying state), i called her again to please help me talk to the son. this time around she started laughing at me over the phone. I am not joking. I quickly said goodbye and i hung up. i was deeply hurt. that night i cried and cried and cried and cried. i took and respected his mum like my own mum and getting such reaction from her, i was perplexed

and to add extra pepper on the injury, with the humiliation from his mum, her son is yet to call me.

the mother must be feeling like a hero for having a son like your bf

i have called and called and texted him for days. On a particular day i called him continuously from 8am - 12 midnight. I am not exaggerating. Composing long texts to him intermediately.  i am exhausted and i have run out of energy.

i have stopped calling people to beg him because i have ended up humiliating myself and almost crushing my self-esteem in the process. i have had the most impossible things said to me by various people. even his mum had to ask me why i wanted to cry myself to death and went ahead to ask me if her son promised me marriage or if i have ever aborted for him    
that ended up adding more pepper to injury.  
so i am not calling or texting again. i have gradually began to wean myself off him. Its been a little over 24 hours since i last cried   thanks to the kind words i have been getting from this thread.

i can only imagine wat u are goin through, uhm its a pity.

but why on earth would his mother use such harsh words on you.

just try and get over it, cos it will soon pass away

In my own case it was fibroid I was battling with and I thank God for making me overcome it without surgery. In other words, I don't know what to say about stuff like hormone imbalance, hot flushes etc but whatever the challenges are, I pray that God will connect you with the doctor that will address it and soon too. From now I'll start praying 4 u. Cheers, sisters.

I've realize that it takes forever to know a person. You can be with some for 10 years and not really know that person. People let you know what they want you to know about them, if s/he still want you around s/he will show the side that s/he is nice and everything, and when s/he already got you when s/he wants you then you will see true colors of a person.
