When you talk of the hospital not having the necessary equipment to move a traumatised patient, you make it seem as if we are talking about a bulldozer. A hospital stretcher is what i mean. With the size of that hospital and being a specialist hospital, they do not have a stretcher or any flat platform to move patients? It's a pity!

The initial made was placing him on a wheelchair first instead of a stretcher.

The pple that brought him in could not help to place him on the bed, knowing fully well there was no extra hands.
It's ok, it's not their duty to carry the patient, but in case of emergency like this, everyone should help.

Then when I said the hospital does not have the necessary equipments to handle the patient, is that they don't have the sophisticated equipments to use to visualize the patient, to know the extent of damages and what can be done next, reason why they referred. Am not talking about bulldozer or whatever

You are accepting negligence as a standard. An orderly in the hospital knows not to sit a head/neck injury patient upright. Minimum they could have down was keep him supine with his neck in a collar.

Why Diclofenac injection is their medication of choice for pain management in a patient with possible internal bleeding is another question they should answer.

P.S if his GCS was 3/15 and he was bleeding from his orifices he probably was not going to make it anyway. The hospital still needs to really improve on its emergency care however.

I wasn't in anyway accepting any negligence.
The hospital was not equipped for severe trauma cases, they were not ready for this, so they acted basically on what they have and referred.

I have no Idea, that any diclofenac was given, I didn't read that anywhere

For this particular case, it was wrong to ask a patient relative to help move an unconscious patient. There is a standardised protocol for moving a trauma patient, especially one who is unconscious. The way he was placed on the chair with no neck restriction shows the hospital is a joke.

The said hospital does not have the necessary equipments or technical know-how to move such, they acted based on what they have available.
They have a couch for the patient to be moved on but they didn't have enough man-power to move him on the couch, reason the nurse called for help.

And they have to refer cos they know they couldn't handle the case in their hospital

This story does not add up. How can the person who rushed him to the hospital will all of a sudden start video recording and laughing, if he didn't care, he wouldn't have brought him there in the first place.
Secondly, was it the lady who fainted after seeing his condition will now be recording him on video and be laughing, and refuse to take him to another hospital?

How can a nurse who is supposed to take care of the patient who was brought in almost dead, be videoing and laughing about it, and also refused to give a helping hand when called on to.

That very hospital he was rushed to first does not have the necessary equipment to assess his health needs, according to the structure of the emergency room. The health care providers have done all they can do first, before he was referred to the other bigger Hospital where he is being intubated.

The main issue why he deteriorated so fast is because of lack of sophisticated medical equipments in the hospital, he was taken there because it was the closest from the accident scene

Exactly, I know most couples who are barren normally the faults lays on the men. A lot of men smoke,drink alcohol, lack exercise activities,some keep their mobile gadgets in the pockets of the trousers they put on. These are major causes of men being infertile. Some of u will just come here and just type for typing sake,even if u are in Lagos, can't people use their common sense, i live in an area where I enter these covered and uncovered boats weekly, I see a lot of people misbehaving when it comes to using the life jackets, there is a jetty close to my area u will still see people up till 9pm boarding because they want to get home at all cost, I once got there at 8pm saw the danger and never boarded had to go and look for a place to sleep near by, it's the passengers I blame, people should always use their brains pls, stick to simple instructions

I usually use the falomo jetty terminal, immediately it's 5:40 pm, they stop, they don't encourage night travels for safety.
