Olominira: Ekiti has been doing that too. I think it's all about production capacity. I learned some state governments have to wait for a long time before getting delivery and wouldn't get them at once. The truth is that, Innoson needs funding for a rapid expansion.
Besides, as Nigeria economy continues to expand more auto makers would come in and fill the gap. However, Innoson has the opportunity to be dominant in West Africa region if he could cut its production costs and produce more affordable cars
As for people that are saying its vehicles are not strong, it is matter of time. There is a Chinese automobile called Dongfeng, if you see their first generation cars, hmmm, they were extremely terrible, you need to see their cars, SUVs, Sedan today even trucks. Same with Geely, BYD. These Chinese automakers are good designers today.
The likes of Toyota, Benz etc are just there at the top because of their brands and long-term experience. Innoson should be innovative in using names that are local and famous within Nigeria and Africa, using English names isn't cool. Names like Mandela, Zik, Awo, Abuja etc. In fact, he could make it an online challenge. He should also work on getting more investment and funding, partnership etc
To me personally, I think the Chairman of the company should have showrooms across major cities in Africa. From Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Accra, Johannesburg, Cairo, Kigali etc. Even if it's a room with one or two employees. Innoson needs to change it short and long term goals and fit in AfCTA. This is a great opportunity for him, unless he wants to become optional after the likes of big brands in the next 10 years. Great contribution |

Their love is unconditional.
We never one day here dem say Igbo domination.
If Biafra come today, we are guaranteed they are coming with us, with little or no effect.

The only Igbo that fit Nigeria system are Orji Kalu, Joe Igbokwe, Rochas and similar politicians. If Nigerians can tolerate Obasanjo , Buhari etc. they should not anticipate gold plated leadership from the SE. |

Ikechunna: None. Why? Because I don't want any Igbo as president of that shithole. Take a look at how they treated GEJ and how he ended up carrying the blame on everything wrong with that shithole. That same faith awaits any Igbo ignorant enough to become part of their presidency.
Hell, let's look at one part of leadership that occurred in the past. Recall the accusations against General Ihejirika compared that to what burutai or whatever that nigga name is currently receiving.
The answer is None for me cause whatever Igbo unlucky enough to step foot as their president is going to carry the blame of the backward of that shithole like GEJ did. If anything, I rather Okorocha or Igbokwe or rather his name is Yorubakwe carry that dagger than Igbo men and women that are of importance to the Igbo community. I agree with you. Good men will simply be pulled down. |

I have no issues with an ibo being president but it shouldn't be seen as a right, what about the over 200 ethnic groups in the country that have never gotten even a ministerial slot? Nigeria is not all about Hausa, Yoruba and Ibo, these 3 should be the last people complaining of being marginalized. If we keep calm the story will change to "they never campaigned or demand for it". |

globemoney: Not the same Kingsley Moghalu. I would prefer people like Moghalu to obi as President. A sound economist Yes as leaders of economic institutions Moghalu will beat Peter Obi handsdown. However if it has to do with politics and governance and application of African model and street intelligence Peter Obi is the man. Peter Obi has done it in Anambra. If given the chance to control things from Abuja, Peter Obi will unlock enormous money from government wastages alone. |

Great effort by the government. But I smiled a little bit when I noticed the writer mention cattle rustlers without also mentioning armed herdsmen. again border closure and tight control is nothing if the focus is on south of Nigeria. greater achievement will be made if the northern borders are put under tight scrutiny and control. The effect of lose control on our northern borders is a security matter and affects Nigerian even more that the smuggling that takes place in the south. The Nigerian government should diversify their corrective actions and apply it equally across the country, otherwise it is simply a waste of time. |

Lerio: You be idiot but you need someone to explain the gravity of your foolishness. ND should be happy with 13% derivation. Ogun kill you there!!!!
Yourubas and some minorities in SS are the problem of this nation. Northerners has no say to decide if this nation will stand. Once NK is able to align with people that matters in SS and NC, we are good to go cos its clear SW loves to lick ass and suck balls. So they shall continue. Great point. At times I just think that we give so much attention to the SW, undeservedly. There's something most people don't understand. Yoruba people love Nigeria as it is. They are happy with everyone trooping to Lagos which will not happen in a country where government money is spent equitably. They are happy having most concentration of international flights and sea operations. We need to understand this and let them be. |

I want this man to advise his Fulani brethren to respect the culture and way of life of other Nigerians rather than kill them. This is the worst thing to ever happen to any country. Sometimes it is difficult to explain why we are not all in the streets protesting. Maybe some are unaware that this man and his APC have given all they have. |

This essay is a subtle campaign for Tinubu. It assumes that Yoruba is the only tribe deserving of the presidency in the next dispensation. Just a psychological preparation of grounds for Tinubu candidacy. The writer want us to believe that the Fulani have problems with a Tinubu presidency. That is blatant lie. Many of you praise Ngozi Okonjo Iweala for her Eurocentric ideals and recognition around the world. Do you not?
When it is Ibo, Eurocentric is good, when it is others, Eurocentric is irrelevant.
Its the same mindset that make your brothers create parallel trade unions when leadership of mainstream organizations is occupied by non-Ibos. You have a problem taking orders from non-Ibos....but complain that you are barred from leadership. It shouldnt be too difficult to understand the root reason for your exclusion in affairs. Nigeria is indeed a tower of Babel. We just don't like each other. One of our biggest problem is stereotyping. It led to the civil war. The hatred is also deepening today. Do you know that the fault you accuse the Igbo of manifest abundantly in both Yoruba and Hausa, at least in our eyes. I am glad you acknowledge that Igbo is excluded in affairs. At other times you people will claim that all Nigerians are excluded not just the Igbo. |
