*Prayer for free and fair election in Nigeria*

God Our Father as we stand at the threshold of fresh general elections in Nigeria,
We your children come before you, conscious of how we have misused your gifts and blessings in our country since we started our new democratic journey.

We also humbly acknowledge how we all, leaders and followers, have turned away from You and favoured corruption, impunity and violence. We admit that we have allowed greed, hatred and fraud to permeate and mar our elections up till now

Merciful Lord, we turn to You, pleading for mercy and pardon. Strip us of greed, corruption and impunity. Cause your Holy Spirit to expel from us all unjust tendencies and fraudulent practices, rid us of the evils of vote-selling, vote-buying and election rigging.

All-powerful and Benevolent God, without You, we cannot succeed, left to our own devices, we cannot progress. We therefore fall on our knees, seeking your intervention. Transform our electoral officials into impartial and incorruptible umpires. Fill them with the spirit of patriotism, justice and fairness so that they may conduct free, fair and credible elections. Make our votes count transparently that we may have honest, true and just election results.

Oh God of justice and love, inspire us to vote solely for the common good of our nation so that we may elect visionary, honest and competent leaders with hearts that beat for the welfare of one and all in our nation.

Enable us to embrace and usher in A new dawn in Nigeria through these elections
So that our children can look forward with hope to a more bright, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord – Amen.

Mother Mary, Queen of Nigeria, intercede for us.

It is not today, except black race sit together and fix our continent, white sees us as slaves.

I hope a lawyer will sue the government for this, the best thing is to ask the offenders to pay file and then release their vehicles to them, this is to make people to suffer which is what a government should avoid.

Government should make lives easy for citizens and not making it difficult for them because of one offence. The pains these offenders are going through can just be imagined.

It is well. I took one way here and the police officer stopped and counsel me for up to 10 minutes on the need never to do it again, I thank him and I drove away.

Honestly it is 50/50 to travel, why because your children are involved, for young couple, Canada is likely the best, it will be tough in the first or two years if you traveled with your family.

Any young couple or young man should japa from Nigeria pls, life is tough everywhere, but abroad give one more comfort and opportunities, the life in Naija is too hostile for human being and the political situation is another thing, no to talk about education of the children, ASUU is on strike till now anyway hmmmmmmm My family and I visited last Christmas season and it was something else, the generator could not carry the AC, the Inverter was not working well, everywhere was just so disorganized, noises all around and every one in a hurry. I remained in our estate most of the time because going out was something else for me.

Abroad is far better than Naija oooo from my experience. It might be toughed initially but at the long run, it is far better. Your children will have better future than Naija where our politician has borrowed the future of our children.

Marriages is sweet and the best institution in the world ordained by God, for the fact that some people did not get it right or value marriage does not make marriage bad.
