AlfaPrime:

Which Exxon are You talking of? for such info, You should be detailed enough to mention the job position and particular ExxonMobil subsidiary offering it, even if not the interview date, in order to get proper assistance.
@alfaprime

cool cool cool abi na fight? its exxonmobil and the interview date i was given is the 27th of feb. so pls if you have any info, u may do well to assist.

coolesmile:

which of the exxon mobil tests did u write?
was it the one of last month for accountant & procurement?
Exxon has not started calling for that o!!!!!

@coolesmile

i think its most objective and fair if we pundit over issues we have facts about. if you wish to know just ask politely and you'll get an answer. i wrote the graduate trainee (accountant) test in uyo on the 19th of january and on the 12th of feb, i got an invitation via email. why would i seek what i do not need? does this satisfy your curious mind? i only need the invaluable help of true nairalanders who are known for not hoarding useful tips like this one i seek.

@ opoks,
na wa o! abi na every rain wey fall, u dey comot bucket for? i thought you to be a gentle man, why all these now that sanity is gradually creeping into this thread. you don't have to react to everything you read, see or perceive. everybody missed your absence on the thread but not to launch a "combat ready" comeback.please for peace sake and the progress of this thread, back down and sheathe your sword

@ thought
please be a gentle man and maintain your cool. i will really appreciate it if you heed my advice.

stay blessed whilst we wait on almighty naija pioneer gas company
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by pisky(f): 11:17am On Sep 25, 2007
hi all!!!
its been quite a while. not as if i don't visit our dear thread, but clearly decided not to post because the way issues were going, it was sort of boring until okpoks came along in a very controversial manner but believe me, he has made a mark that surpasses the efforts put in by some of us that have been here from the inception of the thread.

@okpokonwa
smiley smiley smiley you are really what your name says you are grin grin grin grin i must commend the life you have brought into this thread, you are indeed a genius and above all, i like the way you take your time to cannibalize and respond to posts. as for you and your job that you think is boring? it is a case of "want, want no get and get, get no want" do you by chance get to see the volume of applications Globacom receives after every vacancy advert? just be thankful to God that you are where you find yourself this minute, because you don't know how many people from within and without that are eyeing that your boring position. same goes to uchycelly cool cool cool

@ all
what Nlng offers for now is only hope for an ego boosting job and work environment. Nlng may not really be what we think it is. To some of us we think it is the "end of discussion" for careers but believe me people on daily basis resign from there to pursue better career developing goals in other establishments still within the oil and gas industry. please appreciate what you have right now because you may not have another opportunity to spend a beautiful day as this on that job wether or not Nlng gives you that desired job, so enjoy it while it lasts. create all the fun you need around that job, you'll begin to see your office from a new perspective even though you remain optimistic in your desire to work for Nigeria's pioneer gas coy.

Think about this!!!!

NLNG to BONNY ISLAND cool cool cool
hey peeps, howz everybody doing? lets keep keeping the faith, upholding ourselves in prayer, for thats all we can do for now till we hear from them, which will be very soon.

@kuwena dear! wink wink we have not abandoned the thread for only you, not at all, i believe we have been too busy with our diverse endeavours to post. for me, i must confess that no day passes without my accessing our darling thread but most times i cannot sit back to post. but we have expressed our faith in so many ways and i believe God Almighty, "the Author and Finisher of my faith" has not brought us this far only to disappoint us but that through Him we may reach our expected ends. this is my daily prayer for us all.

NLNG to Bonny Island OOOOOOH! cool cool
Bonny is the place to be, cos thats where things really happen. I'm in to render quality service to NLNG in its bid to produce, deliver and market NGL and LNG reliably, safely and profitably to customers- where else can i be most useful to them if not in Bonny Island, "the beehive of activities"
I got some gist from the grapevine that letters will be received b4 the end of this August by successful candidates who will proceed to lagos for initial paper work (documentation of some sorts) and medics. According to the source, their recruitment process takes about 1yr from application stage to hiring stage and if you calculate very well it will be 12 months by the first week of september. so peeps i think by the first week of sept we should be in lagos, maybe housemates should try nosing for some info, i'm sure we'll come up with something concrete and authentic.
kiss kiss kissplenty GBOSA!!!! to all the corpers (@ akuwena, jbyno, jenks, Uche7869 nd co) in the house that are passing out today. Guess its not been an easy year, but thank God its finally over and you are ripe for employment according to the laws of our gr8 naija. Just make OPTIMISM your watchword and smile your way down the road of success. wish you the best !!!!

till then its 1luv

I got back to ph 2day after giving myself some nerve cooling treat in lagos. I went as far as going to price one of the duplexes at eleganza estate (abi no be height of  faith be that?)  lets all just be +ive and keep up our faith in God Almighty, for He alone worketh all marvels.

@kuwena, going by your 3rd point, there should be 360 persons! abi na from my eye? meaning the answer to your question is no, it is 75% correct. just keep up the good work. 1luv

hi all! the more i visit the domain, the more i look forward to my assessment date(18/07/2007) with great enthusiasm. i am so elated knowing that there are still people out there who look unto God and not men, because men will always be men, they will fail and disappoint you but God will not fail us irrespective of the situation we find ourselves in. He has only asked us to do one very small thing (have faith and trust in him) and leave the rest to him. He also said through the psalmist, that if men could do good, how much more Him who is the owner of good? I know for sure there is just one thing that is impossible for God to do and it is  for HIM TO LIE because i have known all my life that HE CANNOT LIE! his word is spirit and flesh and since he has spoken it in spirit that I should ask and i will receive, which i have done, i simply await the manifestation of that spirit (word) in flesh. That day will be some time in the first week of september when i will receive my employment letter signed by one NWANA C.C. (mrs.) begging me to resume sometime within the month. And that will be the portion of all active hopefuls in the house, say amen to that prayer and catch the great faith fever!!!!!
my song every day is:

av never seen you Lord disappointing me (2x)
Your word is yes! Your word is amen!
av never seen you Lord disappointing me

And I am inestimably sure He will never disappoint me.

@jbyno!! that your theory of picking 3 successful people everyday is not true, i was reliably informed that we are assessed based on certain criteria set by them and that it is possible for a whole group, or some individual(s) in the group to make it and vise-versa. these criteria we do not know, all we need do is be ourselves and measure against these standards and if you measure up you are successfull but if you don't, reverse will be the case. so you see why we should not look anywhere else but heaven from whence comes our help!!!!

@uchycelly!! we go eat LNG beans together that day grin grin grin but seriously, keep faith with Him that is gr8er than all others and He will never fail you because He is not a man!!!!

Have fun and keep the tempo everybody till i get back from lag next wkend to join you : cool cool. till then its 1LUV

hey guys, posterity will never forgive me if i fail to commend your efforts especially in breaking the "witholding information" jinx that rocked the house. i am very proud of you guys and believe me, heaven will not rest until you are grossly favored. you are really your "brother's" keeper. those of u that have done theirs, i wish you success and for those of us that are yet to see the almighty assessment center, The Lord is our SHEPHERD!!! i will definitely face my warrant there next week, but know it that the final list will be incomplete without my name. kuwena, t-black and jbyno abi no be sooooooo?? i just clinched the 4th ticket!

@ kuwena,
i actually replied your post but was impatient to see it posted and i just discovered it didnt pull through unfortunately. i really know only a little and you trust i will not hoard it like people who ignore requests from their fellow landers.

i know that the letters are sent in batches and that if you are yet to get yours, dont panic or get down with kuwenatitis, you will get it b4 that date.

i also know that if you get a call, it means your letter has been dispatched as such in transit.

now that you know all that i know, is there anything you know that i dont? be ur sistas keeper according to nairaland's book of faith chapt 1 vs 1,
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by pisky(f): 7:45pm On Jun 17, 2007
@kuwena cool cool cool no appologies for being away all this while but now that i am back well, grin grin grin i actually meant to say i am really very sorry for not looking up this doha for a while now. how is kano treating you? i hope you are having a swell time, but softly eat groundnut and kilinshi, if not NLNG will fail to recognize your face at training school.

i actually got the gist from a staff, i was there when he called someone in their HR DEPT who gave the info. i am as full of expectations as you are and maybe thats why they are stalling. my source equally told me that its not a one day thing and that we will be assessed in batches. but now that we are yet to get the letters till date, i am beginning to doubt the possibility of them starting on the 25th. anyway, whether they decide to start on 25th o! or 35th o!, what we owe them is to keep our fingers crossed while we prepare for them.

meanwhile where can i get materials to prepare with, its actually my first time and all i know about it, i got on the shl site which ofcourse is quite sparing. if you know anything pls help a sister out and God will richly bless you.

LOTS OF lUV,

1 Like

@aniffy4eva, thanx for fighting our relegation to 3rd page, i wanted to spank kuwena for not blabbing for a while but you just saved him, anyway kuwena, you have been doing a gr8 job keeping this thread alive with so much enthusiasm and gr8 expectations. i was reliably in4med that letters will be sent within this week and assessment will start from 25th of this month. just tot i should share it with you guys cos i know it will save some hearts from beating too fast for too long considering the way NLNG is going about the whole process,

@kuwena please keep this thread alive even if you have to describe Bonny Island and their young and amiable monarch, just keep this thread on the 1st page and you will be richly rewarded by HIM whom you believe in, shocked shocked :ocheers all

@hoha4life: my dear, if not for the t-fare and risks involved journeying to lag, i would have asked you to go there and get whatever treatment or info first hand! but considering the fact that in this forum we are here to help each other, i will advise you dont bother wasting your time and money because exxon is one very strict organisation. believe me cos i was there in august, they wont even allow you into the test hall if they discover that you lack the basic qualification ie 2.1. i got the invitation too and i am in port harcourt but my mail says venue is lagos while my text msg says uyo, i am equally in a dilema too!!!!
