Just to chip this in: while we all await the final list, with our names in it, I feel now is the time to go get your original certificates. Especially those who are still holding onto waec/neco statement of result, and ND/HND/Degree statement of results that is over 3y/o.
Don't wait till the list is out and start running helter skelter.

The Edo State Government has urged 72 shortlisted indigenes who failed to show up for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) final screening for its recruitment exercise, to do so tomorrow, Saturday, August 7, 2021, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In a statement, the Chief of Staff to Edo State Governor, Osaigbovo Iyoha, said of 80 Edo indigenes invited for the NCS screening in Gwagwalada, Abuja, only eight ( participated in the screening, which took place on August 2, 2021.

He urged the 72 other applicants yet to take part in the screening to present themselves for the exercise in Gwagwalada, Abuja on Saturday, August 7, 2021, so that the state does not lose its 72 slots in the recruitment exercise.

It's a good experience to be at the customs training college today at Gwagwalada.

The officials were really friendly with everyone.
We were attended to according to our states of origin.

There some candidates that don't have there printing out but they were encouraged to present a pdf or newspaper that displayed their names and they are all later attended to.

There are few candidates that were sent home due to fake registration/document presented...only the customs officials knows how best to detect fake registration or documents

Once your name is confirmed on the list and your state of origin confirm, every other process is easy as there is simple protocols to follow with the guidance of various customs officials at different venue for the screening.
Stage one*
After checking and confirmation of names, next you are giving a tag number that qualify you for further screening and confirmation of documents and certification.
If you are confirmed, you proceed to medical lab for various check up such as weight, height, eye test,blood pressure and temperature, urine test, blood sample test and x-ray test.
According to the medical personnel, the results will be out next morning (tomorrow)
Those found medically fit will continue with endurance test and 3km race for male 20 minutes and 25minutes for female

Endurance test start at 6:am

Note: you are to be on dress to the venue on white...if you are coming from far, don't be afraid, you can easily change before you enter the main training college...there is an hotel directly opposite the training venue that are really accommodating...

Hmmmm. Truly no one knows\has the list of those who attend the screening, but i know for sure that the final list won't contain names outside the first and second list. People are watching.

Yeah.. as usual screening will always be on merit but final list will be on a different level.

For those that already did their screening, is medical certificate required?
Yes for vest and shorts
No for medical cert but it wouldn't hurt if you do it just incase.

As I stubborn reach na so so quiet men dey date me. So I've had great experience from past relationships and currently another quiet one dey my side. What I noticed with them


They are highly intelligent, don't talk much, don't mingle much, social function almost zero.

They are calculated and secretive. Don't gossip at all. Going into their house and coming out seems like sneeking around, so people don't know if they are in or out.

Don't like loud music.Those who go to club rarely dance, them go dey laugh who dey dance . When they decide to party, the subsequent days makes them really dull and want to 'rest'. Even during outings after few laughs and a drink with plenty water, next na to pick their car keys or flag down a taxi , time to go

Don't wear loud bright dresses. Dull dresses are their Craze.

Observe rather than talk. When they talk everyone is silent.

No toasting, they were too shy to say their mind. They will look and make few remarks, then look again. Relationship usually start from me taking the lead by keeping them talking with questions. "Do you like me?" that's enough to make them blush with relief and acceptance.

Spend thrifts. Show offs is foolishness to them.Not really into social media, few pics, most times like to be anonymous. Also, they can be nasty in secret.

Gadget lovers. Will spend money on the latest Playstation.Dont mind playing against computer for hours.
Simplicity. Eating out is not their need, so if they must, mostly snacks rather than cooked food. Neat freeks!
Forgives easily but with serious warning.
Don't like the silent treatment during quarrel. They will appear calm at first but, Na lie . Just pretend you no longer find them attractive or appealing and all hell breaks loose.
Not too romantic but very supportive and reasonable. Calm in the face of overwhelming trouble. Why others are panicky, they keep clear head, and think of solving issues diplomatically.
The ones who cheats do it well. You may never notice because they will never pick the other woman's frantic calls, if them too disturb they block them temporarily till further _drilling notice.Them no just like wahala from nags.
Have soft spot for women and can easily be manipulated to give out cash to them even without sleeping with them. Even an ex will continue to reap them off Even if they are no longer interested.
Don't get angry easily, but when they get you'd be sorry. Really really sorry and disappointed in yourself. They will lay all your 4ck ups and corner your defense on every angle

But them still dey talk o, but na inside house. Abuse them and meet a brick wall, no reaction. As my mouth sharp reach, I don't use bad words o, there are people that their level of maturity controls what you say.

(1). Monthly salary for ND holders: 65k - 72k.
(2). Monthly salary for degree: around 82k-86k.
(3). Monthly bonus: around 100k plus.
The bonus payment comes quarterly ( every three to four months).
(4). Monthly allowances: your allowances depend on where you are posted.

Invariably, you will earn more than entry level staff in most government agencies.
Even, entry level officers who have SSCE earn better than an Assistant Superintendent of Police (Assistant DPO).
Customs is the highest paid uniform job in Nigeria.

Can't u guys be optimistic for once? For what is worth alot of persons on that second list made through without follow up and knowing anyone and Customs should be commended for even giving people who missed out the first screening Oppurtunity to be screed again.
