Travel / Re: Nigerians Denied Work Permits In UAE Frustrated, Stranded, Borrow Money To Live by pixey(m): 9:16pm On Jan 16, 2022
I don't blame anyone who wants to work in Dubai or anywhere. I only blame the unfortunate idiots in our embassies over there. This is what happens when an idiot politically appoints an idiot in sensitive positions.I won't be surprised that the officers in the embassy there have no idea about diplomatic negotiations and relations. We are about to make the same mistake again coming 2023.

As Nigerians in power or authority,we have to learn that any decision we undertake is not just for you and your family sake. Your decision might affect the lives of others and the environment in general.

Until we learn to cultivate this, we can never be a first-world country even if we have all the resources to be one.

Actually she told me that she have once been a rape victim and it's affecting her psychologically.....

One of the triggers of her mood swing....
I don't know how you are going to do it. You will have to make her forget and grow pass the rape issue. it won't be easy though and It also depends on your patience.

9 months relationship going down the drain...

When we started everything was moving smoothly but along the line i started feeling we are not compatible due to her moody attitudes....

I am pisces while she is Cancer...

She is so commited to the relationship and i believe she will make a good wife to whosoever understands her...

But being the adventurous type my problem with her is that she is always too moody for my liking... She only talks about her predicaments when she feels like and it's draining my energy....

I needed someone that will be gingering or boosting my morale not someone that will add more thinking to so many thoughts running through my mind....

Asin i think more than i talk and am scared if she is the right one for me.....

Please i need advice because we pisces don't like dull moments with our partners....

I have even thought of calling off the relationship if her attitude persists...

Lalasticlala save a brother... embarassed
A cancer lady is very sensitive ,emotional and passionate probably something very tragic and sad has happened to her and she needs someone to be with for her to heal. If you really loved her, you need to take care of her emotional needs at this stage. After this, she would barely even bother you and she will love you to death and even going against a lot of odds. My point is that you have to make her see the brighter side of things so as to make her very happy and forget her worries. Trust me they won't bother you at all apart from emotional needs.
One more thing a cancer lady is quite difficult to woo due to their highly sensitivity and trust issues. I think she trusts you deeply.

Vasectomy needs more awareness. Most men don't understand how it is and most people don't even know it exist. You just gotta talk to him and explain things to him. Most people believes family planning is only done to the females.

Moreover, ego is among the reasons he kicks against vasectomy. An average African man wouldn't want to live his life knowing his semen is useless.
You giving the stupid condition is already a red flag for me.From your story, you are not ready for marriage or don't want to marry at all. Don't destroy an innocent man's life. I loved the way the guy looked into your eyes and said capital NO!He has seen your selfishness in advance already.

those ones are not serious firms, wat about by the time they call u after 1 or 3 months and u r already gainfully employed.
A serious firm wil get back to you within 2 to 3 weeks
That is the reality now! You barely see them unless a multinational company.

If after 2 weeks and there is no response, you are advised to move on
Some companies can call you after 1 to 3 months so this may not apply in all cases unless it was clearly stated.

That is it.
They should be polite, but they owe you nothing whether in Nigeria or in Scotland.
One of the major reasons why the organisation will get back to you in Scotland is because if they dont, people will leave negative feedback about them like highlighted above and other good candidates will avoid them. It's called business justification, not emotional one

So if you and others do the same in Nigeria, you may end up forcing the companies to respond to unsuccessful candidates there. Not out of sentiments, but out of business needs.

That is how you make things happen by taking concrete actions like you've done and not moaning in a pity party like that looser mentioning my name in other posts.

Hope you got it?

You can't afford to think like that.

They ought to, but don't bother if they don't.
Rather, think of owning your own business that would respond politely to unsuccessful job seekers
You made it look like it should be a norm or an acceptable practice. Like I said it is part of your job. undecided

It happens a lot. They'll feel bad and move on.
The business does not owe you, neither do you owe them until you have both been properly engaged within a contract that can be taken to court .

The emotional bit only improves as you and the business get more involved on a daily basis.
You are saying bullshit. My guess is that you are definitely one of the useless Nigerian HRMs that lacks courtesy and ethics. Giving feedbacks to unsuccessful applicants is part of the job. Service fee kill you there.

I have just realised that if customs can delay a simple recruitment of 5000 applicants. Promotion will be way worse. We should put that in mind.

Let only those who can confirm that whatever they're sharing on the thread is legitimate do so, especially the likes of a few who have consistently shared credible information here. Keep up the good work and please also inform the thread when there are changes due to one circumstance or the other.

When and if you want to speculate, indicate that you're doing so in clear terms instead of passing it as some form of "information from my sauce"

If you don't have any information to share please don't mislead anyone in the guise of "cruise". I don't see why someone would wake up in the morning, fabricate lies all in the name of cruise and mislead others. Please no one is cruising here.

The long and short is, if you don't have any credible information at all, please don't bother to share.
You have said it all my brother. At least there are some matured people here.

Wasn't it in this thread we learnt of the board meeting

Likewise, we also learnt of the minister withholding the list and the "no promotion, no final list" drama

Must the info be certified by NCS?

Thomas of our time
Listen! That is not what I am talking about here. Some good people like Ahmed provide info about the recruitment with adequate sources and when they are not sure ,they disclose that it is not confirmed yet. But some childish idiots here (I am sorry to say) just misinform this thread for cruise as they say. When you asked these childish idiots for more information and source, they keep mute till it turns out to be false and start all over again. This thread was never like this before and that was why I said kids has taken over the thread earlier on. I have been on this thread since 2019.

Why are you negative. We're all here for information; if you're not comfortable with that, log out or turn off your data till next year. (Maybe you must have missed camp by then)

More so, stop discouraging people trying their best to keep us informed.
There is a difference between providing information with a source and just misinforming this thread with childish jokes for the fun of it. Please! please! if you can't grasp the situation. Just do yourself a favour and shut up! Idiat calling me negative.
