Education › Re: My US Visa Appointment In Lagos Was Canceled By The Consulate, What Do I Do? by planetx: 5:34pm On Nov 24, 2022
MemoriesAndMe:
That's not true bro. A lot of Nigerians based in the US are not US slaves like some Nigerians label them probably put of jealousy or hypocrisy. Many of them will first to jump on a plane if they're granted a US visa.

That some people come to Nigeria once in 7 years is their personal decision. What would you do if you kept hearing same bad news about Nigeria for 7 years? Run back to same Nigeria.

I'm based in the US and I know several folks that come to Nigeria 4 to 6 times a year cos they have businesses in the US and in Nigeria too that need their attention. How does that make them slaves? I was in Nigeria in February and will be there again for this Christmas.

So if you only know folks that refused to come home, ask them their reasons first before judging them.
If Nigeria is so bad like this Nlanders that have never been on plane insist, why do Nigerians living in the US come here 5 to 6 times a year, why is it that the Delta and United flights to Nigeria from the US are always filled up on their daily flights to Nigeria if according to this people here on NL people are kidnapped as soon as they step out of the airport.

hehe bro to be honest with you i never had these issues at all. i dont know too much about the visa hustle. but i can imagine it is tedious and very painful. my own experience i believe is very similar in terms of the hassles and stress so i can somewhat relate. so fortunately or unfortunately , however you choose to see it, i was born in the uk but when we came back to nigeria we never had a passport. they put us on my parents passport. but we had a birth certificate. fast forward to after spending 10 years in naija and i wanted to go back. well we had to go to the british embassy in lagos and it seemed like whatever they requested from us and we brought was never enough . it was appointments after appointments and documents after documents and months after months of stress and struggle and long queues till they finally decided to give me a british passport ( the black one back then not the red one ) . so in a way i can relate to the whole struggle.
Actually I mean on the whole japa syndrome and the desperation of the average Nigerian to go to obodo oyinbo land no matter what and no matter what they have accomplished here.

You have to be re.tarded applying for a US visitor visa with the hope of not coming back and marrying some akata in 2022. Your suffering in Nigeria will be child's play in comparison.

It's very obvious that you haven't lived in Canada before. I'm a Nigerian/Canadian and the girl is stating facts. I'm also a medical doctor, so I know how the health system is in Canada. It's terrible to say the least. I remember when my son was having severe acute asthma attack and we rushed him to the A&E in Calgary, Alberta. we waited for several hours before we could see a doctor. That can never happen in Nigeria as terrible as the country is. I later moved my talents to America but I can tell you there's still no place like Nigeria in the world. I just hope Nigeria can at least get a bit better than the current situation that the country finds itself in at the moment.
Why is the news of the 90 Canadian doctors that have dropped dead over the last two years being suppressed, and only alternative media's are reporting it.

. The guy is actually very bias. I know he's suffering in Nigeria but using that to wish people early death isn't good. Make it look like people don't die in Canada
More than 90 Canadian doctors have dropped dead over the last two years, the Western world right now is an harvest of death. Don't let me even quote the deaths from cancer and heart disease over the last 2 years. So this dumbos should keep thinking people are immortal in Canada or the US.

I've always made my dislike for Canada known on this forum from day one. I can understand if one has no other options of a better place to live, but Canada should be the extreme bottom of choice if you have options.

I have visited Canada lots of times and just hates it there. Too depressing, boring, freezing cold and dark. Snows everywhere like huge heap of sand, and people hardly mix.

Just get the passport and leave. But to call it your permanent home, you must be one hell of a kind of a person.
Canada is a bloody overrated shithole. That is why more and more immigrants that they lured in with the fake Canadian paradise stories are now packing up and returning home.

Canada is an overrated shithole, most of this people crying Canada will be disappointed once they get there. I know Canada, life in Nigeria is far better than Canada take it or leave it, I don't need to convince you.

Anyone ever wondered why Argentina never have black players on their team, unlike all their neighbors like Chile, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador and so on. Until you discover that the country basically eliminated it's black population through genocide.

If the earth is billions of years old and humans have been living on it for millions or according to religious people 6 thousand years. My question is why is it only in the last hundred and twenty years or so that all the technological inventions like automobiles, aircraft, telephone and the list is endless came about. Is it that the people that lived over the last couple of millions or thousand years depending on if you believe science or the Bible were dumb and stupid and couldn't invent aircrafts and cellphones or maybe past civilizations have invented even more sophisticated technology that we are unaware of today.

Trust me that person is regretting that move despite any claims to the contrary, shows that despite the education and exposure the average African have been brainwashed beyond redemption.
