If you read what happened after, you will sad sad

[Hadith of Sahih Bukhari(vol.1,#234)
1.234:Narrated by Abu Qilaba.]
Anas said, "Some people of 'Ukl or 'Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of (Milch) camels and to drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels. The news reached the Prophet early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He then ordered to cut their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of ion.
They were put in Al-Harra and when they ask for water,no water was given to them.
Abu Qilaba said,"I watched one lick the earth until he died

(Sura 19:68-69)
We shall assemble them (believers) and the Devils, then we shall bring them, crouching around hell.
(69) We shall pluck out from every sect which ever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to beneficent.
I saw that, We must say thanks to the hadiths for revealing certain things hiden from the Koran.

First let me correct you:the Quran says the KA’BAH was the first house of worship on earth.it does not say that Makkah was the first and most important city in the world, even though to us muslims Makkah is the holiest place on earth.
What about the Temple in Jerusalem, where the  tablets of the Covenant with the Ten Commandments stood inside the ark? . The outer room stood, was said to be the main implements of the Temple's daily worship.

The story of this temple is very lenghty, i wonder how the kaaba is the first place of worship on earth, or do u mean to say, Idol worshipin because it is written in the bible, In (1 Kings 5.5) That Solomon built a great Temple to house the ark and mercy-seat. God promised that his divine presence would continue to remain with the people of Israel in the Holy of Holies which now became a cubic structure in the centre of the Temple.

This building was discribed as a magnificent edifice and was built with gold, hewn stones and cedars from as far afield as Lebanon. When it was completed Solomon ordered the chief priests to bring the ark of the covenant to the Temple and it was, (read Exodus 25.8-9. to trace the ARK) at his command, placed in the most holy place in the centre of the building (1 Kings 8.6). When the priests came out of this holy place in the middle of the Temple,

"A cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord." (1 Kings 8.10-11.)

With great joy Solomon blessed God and praised him that his divine presence was to be manifested henceforth in the Temple he had built. He declared his joy in these words:

"I have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. And there I have provided a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt". 1 Kings 8. 20-21.  to be continued if u are interested,

hey b!*ch,dont play that trick with me!

I have made valid points about who muslims worship.you can feel free to follow your fantacies and use them for your missionary games.

i told you the following:
1.) Allah was worshipped by the hanifs even during the times of idolatry in arabia.the hanifs are to ishmael what the israelites are to isaac.
2.) millions of your fellow christians in arab countries use the name "Allah" to refer to the Almighty,One, Unique,Unseen Creator of everyone and everything.
3.) the name of Allah appears in the bible itself.
4.) if the pagans in provocation name their gods whatever, that is their business. we cannot be judged by the actions of pagans.

i have given also a verse from the Quran condemning the 3 idols of the arabs.so what more do you want?

you can continue worshipping Jesus and making him your small "god".as for us we dont worship Jesus (as),we honor him as a prophet and we worship the God who made Jesus.
To the bold:It is not my name, i am a full married woman, u are just exposing urself in NL grow up plz,
Not surprise anyway, its an inheritance from ur prophet, how those slave women were handled, according to ur hadiths. @bashy_demy will insult us as coward, @uplawal will curse us that we will died becos of allah, what else?

U muslims are taught violence, i wonder how responssible u are talking like tose teenage in a collage.

Second bold, sorry,That was done sfter Mohamed came back to his senses. Leave those ur stories, u think u can be wiser than Islamic Historian, they love Mohamed far more than u think u do, they just expose what is called the truth, not because they are meant to tarnish Muhammed's image. They are all truth stp decieving urselves, u are all worshiping IDOLs, KAABA'S  ORIGINAL IDOLATERY HISTORY REMAINS VALID. No matter how muslim try to paint it white.
Christianity Etc › Re: Ishmael Or Isaac? The Koran Or The Bible? by plappville(f): 6:13pm On Dec 08, 2011
Judek2:
This Book was inspired by Mohammad and written by his illiterate followers, even a simple novel is more accurate than the Koran.
Koran has many scientific erros, archeological errors,Language(Arabic) blunder, even historical events. And its full of contradictions.
For example,
Mohammads call

(1)Suras 53 and 81 — God, or Allah as he is called in Arabic, personally appeared to Muhammad.

(2) Suras 16 and 26 — The call was from the Holy Spirit.

(3) Sura 15 — Angels issued the call.
(4) Sura 2 — Gabriel was the one who appeared to him.
. . . .Thats a total of four calls from four different persons.

Another is on the creation.
In one place it asserts that Allah created everything in "the twinkling of an eye" (Sura 54:49-50).

Elsewhere it says that the time period of the creation was two days (Sura 41:9, 12);

Other one in four days (Sura 41:10);

In six days (Suras 7:54, 10:4,and 32:4);

then in "a day equaling 1,000 years" (Sura 32:5);

and also in "50,000 years" (Sura 70:4).
. . . .That's a total of six different time periods

The Koran also contains many scientific errors. A crude example is found in (Sura 18:8-86) where it says that Alexander the Great followed the setting of the sun and discovered that it went down into the waters of a muddy spring!

If I begin to write historical and archeological errors, its countless.
I dont know why Muslims are so adamant and unwilling to be subjective for once.
The errors are uncountable my broda, i bet u, muslim can see it very well, but they just pretend to continue in their idolatery doctrine, this may be that they ve so much love for the socalled PROPHET undecided undecided

My friend you are either doing these things deliberately to waste our time or you are very a dumb person who only copies and pastes.

“Till he was at a distant of two bows”.who is the “he” in that verse? Does the verse say it is Allah?why do you use brackets to interprete it as you like to support your own confusion? The verse is talking about Angel Gabriel and not Allah.

Now let us read the verses and please pay attention to the last verse:

Quran 53:3-18
“It is not but a revelation revealed, Taught to him by one intense in strength -One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form. While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon. Then he approached and descended. And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer. And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed. The heart did not lie [about] what it saw. So will you dispute with him over what he saw? And he certainly saw him in another descent. At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary -Near it is the Garden of Refuge -When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]. The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]. He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.

the Quran clearly states that Allah cannot be seen:

"Sight cannot reach Him" (6:103).

"Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted".
(Surah al-An'aam: 103)

Allah SWT said in Surat AlA'raf:

143. and when Mûsa (Moses) came at the time and place appointed by us, and his Lord spoke to him, He said: "O My Lord! show Me (Yourself), that I may look upon You." Allâh said: "You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still In its place Then You shall see me." so when his Lord appeared to the mountain , He made it collapse to dust, and Mûsa (Moses) fell down unconscious. Then when He recovered his senses He said: "Glory be to you, I turn to You In repentance and I am the first of the believers."
shocked shocked shocked Oh, So muhammed recongnize the God of Abraham as God? isn't that same God of Moses, Israel, Jacob Jesus? Of what interest is Islam if it eleminate Jesus and accept others? Muhammed has really succeeded in brainwashing many ignorant nation to the lowest. All idol worshipers KAABA and the 3 GODESSES. Allah is not the God of ABRAHAM, it is the idolatery God of the Arab in Mecca, plz stop decieving urselves.

Ø Is it possible to tamper with the Quran according to the hadiths?

What does traditionnal Islam have to say concerning the Hadiths which claim an entire verse is not only missing from the Quran but lost forever?
"The parchment on which the verse about stoning to death for adultery was written, was eaten and abrogated by a goat." (Ibn Maajah, 36/1944; Hanbal, 3/61; 5/131, 132, 183; 6/269)

Ø Are Women, horses and homes bad omen?
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, number 188:
Sahih Al Bukhari 76/5 "Bad omen is in the woman, the horse and the home."
Ø

Is Prayer nullified by women, monkeys and black dogs?

Sahih Bukhari 8/102 and Hanbel 4/86:
"If a monkey, a black dog or a woman passes in front of a praying person, his prayer is nullified."
Apparently pigs don’t nullify the prayer, too bad women do…

Christianity Etc › Re: Characteristics Of True And False Disciples by plappville(op): 3:39pm On Dec 08, 2011
Oh I know Peter, for example, wanted His presence. Over in chapter 6, the same chapter verse 67 it says, "Then Jesus said unto the Twelve, 'Will you go away?' And Simon Peter said, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. We believe and are sure that Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.'" You could never get rid of Peter, Peter was always where Jesus was, always. He couldn't stand to be away from Christ. They wanted Him. True disciples wanted His presence.

Well, you see, there really was no problem, Christ was up there in the mountain praying and the little boat was being flipped around in the Sea of Galilee and when the right time came, Christ acted. You see, omnipotence is never in a hurry. Did you know that? Omnipotence can wait as along as it wants cause it's always in control. Christ as the sovereign omnipotent God can wait as long as He wanted because He was in absolute control of that sea, as is illustrated when He finally walked into the boat and the sea just calmed. Because omnipotence is combined with infinite wisdom and infinite love, it always acts at the right time and it did this time. And so Christ came, just at the right time.

And verse 19 tells us what happened. And so when they had rowed about five or twenty, five and twenty, or thirty furlongs, twenty-five or thirty furlongs would be somewhere between three and a quarter and three and three quarter mile, they had rowed that far, they see Jesus walking on the sea. Now one writer that I read this week, Barclay, said that that really means He was walking on the shore. He's the same one who said the feeding of the five thousand wasn't a miracle, it was just when the little boy pulled out his lunch, everybody else pulled out their hidden lunches and they all shared. But then that's his problem, not mine. My Bible says, "They saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat and they were afraid."

continues,

19 This is (AI)the testimony of John, when (AJ)the Jews sent to him priests and Levites (AK)from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, “(AL)I am not [q]the Christ.” 21 They asked him, “What then? Are you (AM)Elijah?” And he *said, “I am not.” “Are you (AN)the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22 Then they said to him, “Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” 23 He said, “I am (AO)A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, ‘MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF THE LORD,’ as Isaiah the prophet said.”

now Oga explain the bold to me. Can Christ and that prophet be the same person? secondly why did they Mention Christ, Elijah and then say that Prophet. Dint the prophet have a name?

24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. 25 They asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the [r]Christ, nor Elijah, nor (AP)the Prophet?” 26 John answered them saying, “(AQ)I baptize [s]in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know. 27 It is (AR)He who comes after me, the (AS)thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 28 These things took place in Bethany (AT)beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, (AU)the Lamb of God who (AV)takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He on behalf of whom I said, ‘(AW)After me comes a Man who [t]has a higher rank than I, (AX)for He existed before me.’ 31 I did not recognize [u]Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing [v]in water.” 32 John (AY)testified saying, “(AZ)I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not recognize [w]Him, but He who sent me to baptize [x]in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, (BA)this is the One who baptizes [y]in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is (BB)the Son of God.”

Why should the Muslims be looking for Mohammed's ID in the bible?

Pls. There is no connection between Christians/Jews and the Muslims.

For your information it wasn't only Muslims that had tried to copy some parts of the Bible. Even OOO members have tried to claim that their founder OOO is the Holy Spirit.

Somehow, I don't blame them; It is only the Original/superior/quality/authentic thing that can be imitated.

Devil should live the Bible alone. Satan should stop trying to manipulate the Bible because it will never work.

If Muslims want to know the ID of their Allah and Mohamed they shouldn't look for it in the Bible.

Christians know the God they are serving, They also know Jesus Christ verywell. There is nothing confussing. Christianity never reffer anybody to another religious book for Identity or Identity clarification.
We equally know the Devil (Satan, Old Serpent) etc.

I have told them before that the Bible did not say anything about Mohamed or Allah, But the Bible said a lot about the Devil (Satan) and the Anti-Christ.

Please, people should stop confussing their members by trying to link Bible and Koran. As, I said it is not only Islam that copied some Bible portion for manipulation.

But at least Islam Called their own spiritual book Koran after copying the bible; some other group deliberately carried the entire Bible (while changing selected things) and still call it Bible; while doing their thing including worshiping their own god.
Very good points!!

@bashy_demy::Can you tell me who Build the temple and for what Purpose? and also what is the name of the Temple? is it the same Solomon Temple?
(John 2:13-22)
“13: When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14:. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables
exchanging money.
15:.So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple
area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned
their tables.
16:. To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!"
17:. His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me."
18:. Then the Jews demanded of him, "What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?"
19:. Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."
20:. The Jews replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?"
21:. But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
22. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said.
Then they believed the Scriptureand the words that Jesus had spoken.”1

Did u see that Jesus sent them out with authourity? he didn't say "as from today it will be my fathers house. NO, it has been his Fathers house right from day one of the construction of that Temple.

The second bold tells u who build the temple and what the temple was meant for.

@bashy_demy:i think you need to read more about Kaaba,  The purpose of Kaaba Purposely for worshiping God, But since the rate of idol worshiper are higher than the believer then so they turn it into idol house,  if you need to read more about Kaaba here is a reference to help you
A reference made after the satanic verse has been enrased from the loran by hohammed? eehhm! this is why u can't know the true origin of the kaaba. I will tell u that @Jedek2 has already explain the truth in a way even achild will understand. Let me do more then.

Although these verses do not appear in the Koran anymore, but which Muhammad was believed to have uttered as part of his “revelation” that sought compromise with the Quraysh, referring as they did to the 3 godesses.

[s]These are the exalted birds whose intercession is approved.[/s]

These  verses were a revelation to the quraysh. “because the koran appeared to ve endorsed the piety of their fathers and to ve abandoned its monotheistic message, when” Karen Armstrong wrote in Mohamad: A Biography of the Prophet, the quraysh “no longer saw Islam as a sacrilegious threat that could bring a catastrophe on the people of Mecca.” they now embraced Mohamad’s religion and prepared to welcome him back into the fold.

[s]Why/How did Mohamad Rejects the Satanic Verses[/s]

But before the quraysh had the time to act on the perceivec compromise, mohamad himself, came to his senses, judged the verses that approved the intercession of the “exalted birds” to ve been inspired by Satan, he now rejected them with a new "revelation" as below:::::

[s]They are but names which you and your fathers have invented: God has vested no authority in them.[/s]

The unbelievers follow but vain conjectures and the whims of their own souls, although the guidance of their Lord has long since come to them. Tell me who is fooling who? We sure know the truth of the god of the muslim.

Islamic historians Ibn Saad and Abu Ja’far mohamad al-Tabari said that, Mohamad was truely interested in looking for a compromise that would end the rift btw his ppl and the Quraysh. the quraysh on their own part, had sent out trail balloon: give the Quraysh a sign that you’d be willing to compromise on your absolute monotheism.
That could open the way to a solution in togetherness.

And so Muhammad, according to the Islamic historians say, once heard a "revelation" that three goddesses worshipped by the Quraysh — al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat — could be revered and worshipped. Word spread to the Quraysh. To the tribe leaders, Muhammad’s allowance was taken as a concession that the three goddesses had equal billing with god in the koran. and if the Prophet was willing to worship the three goddesses, then all could be well again between Mohammad and the quraysh, who’d be willing to pray with Muslims and open Mecca’s doors to them again. It was all an agreement btw both mohammed and the Quraysh. The only way he could ve succeeded is the way he did it. Nothing absolute was devine right from the start.

and what prophecies did he come and fulfill? Did i hear you say he preach Love and Peace? then am not sure who is lying here maybe Paul or Jesus
In Deuteronomy (18:15-18,) Moses told the Jews that God would raise up another prophet like him(Moses).
After Moses, there was a many others succession of prophets, including Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and finally Jesus Christ. Jesus was very much like Moses. if u want i will post both semilarity then u conclude urself.
Both of them were delivered from death as infants, both performed miracles, both were leaders. etc etc, the list is uncountable.

Jesus fulfilled this prophecy with the last words on the Cross when he said "It is finished" (read John 19:30).
He had done everything His Father had sent Him to do (read John 17:4). One of the things He had come to do is found in Matthew: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil" (Matthew 5:17).
So, one of the things Jesus had come to do was to fulfill but not "destroy", but fulfill the law.

Obviously, then, by the time He said, "It is finished," He had done this, fulfiled it.
If u want to know how he fulfilled it, it will lead us to a lenghty disccussion, i will be glad to do it though.

Those verses are parables, just want to treat few of them;

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Is it not true today? those who refused Christ hate those who love Christ, Islam for example, killing Christians.
Understand the earth is not in peace today, this is what he meant.

35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
[i] Samething applies here, Example, my mother never want to hear me talk of Jesus, i had rather choose Jesus and walk away from her. But fortunately, my mother know the true way, so we in the right track.
Its not by force to Love Christ. I love him, he is the only way to GOD, no other.

Judek2:
At the time Muhammad received his initial visitation, ((there were over 300 gods)) being worshiped in Mecca by pilgrims who came there each year to pray at the Ka'aba, a small cubic building that housed a black meteorite and effigies of the various gods. One of those gods was Allah, the
moon god.
((Muhammad decided to proclaim that there was only one god — and he selected Allah as that god.)))That's the reason the crescent moon became the symbol of
Islam.
Muhammad also proclaimed that he was the prophet of Allah.

Jews and Christians were not the only ones who rejected Muhammad's new revelations. ((The people of his own tribe, the Quraysh, also rejected him. In response, Muhammad succumbed to the temptation to appease his tribe by announcing that it would be okay for them to worship the three daughters of Allah — named Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Ma-nat. This declaration led to the infamous "Satanic verses" of the Koran which were later deleted when Muhammad reverted back to monotheism. Muslims have tried ever since to cover-up this diversion from the faith.
Very true my broda, how could @bashy_demy keep his eyes closed against this well known truth? everything has been changed in the koran to make it look religious since the agreement was accepted by Mohamed and the Quraysh. The Quraysh dominated Meccan politics and considered itself th custodian of the kaaba and its idols:

This site had been the destination of pilgrims for centuries and centuries. Pegrims, then as now, It was meant profiting to whoever controlled the kaaba. they derived their wealth from trading all over what’s known today as the Middle East, the Kaaba was a source of prestige, authority and money. They did not appreciate anyone suggesting that they should tinker with it, so muhammed had used his intelligent for them or else it wouldn't ve worked.

Judek2:
here is a comment by Abu Ismail on Osamas death. According to him and many high ranked Muslims, he is A MARTYR.

And Usama bin Laden—may Allah
be pleased with him—may Allah
take great mercy upon him. I ask
Allah to accept him with the
righteous and the martyrs, O
Lord. Do not imagine that a
martyr is only someone with
whom you’ve always agreed
throughout your life. If you had a
different point of view from him,
and then he was killed, this
would not negate his martyrdom.
Now this man (i.e. bin Laden) had
religion wealth, and he was able
to spend millions in the path of
Allah, and speak the word of
truth with power. However, he
preferred to sacrifice his flesh,
his offspring, his family, and his
wealth, and go to the front lines
to work in the path of Allah. The
most glorious among us are
always the martyrs. May Allah
have mercy on him. The
testimony which he obtained
was a great fortune. I suppose
that he—and Allah is his judge
now—is among those of whom
it is said, “If only my people
knew,” Allah-willing. May Allah
take great mercy upon him, and I
ask Almighty Allah that the
Muslims may soon be able to
avenge him, as well as all of the
martyrs of Islam, such as
‘Abdallah ‘Azam, Ahmad Yasin,
and others, O Lord.
am not making fun of you and that was why i said pardon me. i know its a typo and that was why i answer your Question.

Well the same way Synagogue are been use as a place of idol and for Gambling before the arrival of Jesus Christ(Isa)==

((The temple was built purposely for worshiping God. its origin is God's house not like the Kaaba. if u understand Jesus accused them of ("turning the Temple"wink to a den of thieves etc,  If the origin of the building is for pagan worship, Jesus will not distroy they gambling. He told them that it is his "FATHERS HOUSE"

As for the Kaaba, it's Origin was total "PAGAN" The kaaba existed far before Mohamed. It was under the control of one of the most important tribes of Mecca, the Quraysh. It was used as a shrine for pagan idols, especially al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat, known together as al-Gharaniq (Daughters of Allah), and Hubal, a marriage god. When Muhammad took control of Mecca he cleaned out the idols and dedicated the Kaaba to allah undecided U can see your comparation of kaaba and the temple of GOD that was been misused by some people for their own commercial interest before Jesus came to distroy them is not same issue as the kaaba.
))

then you dont read your bible,  people have been worship idol before the coming of each prophet and they still do till this day,  and beside each prophet where send to there people,  Quran30:47 And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.==

((I ve seen that @judek2 has already given u the correct answer as regard your question.))

so if you are asking how Mohammad fits in with the other prophets, Then i'll ask you how did Jesus fits in too since there are lots of prophets before him,===

((Jesus came to fullfile the prophecies, He proved it in all ways, he thaught LOVE and PEACE, if Mohamed has to follow the step as God instucted Jesus,  why not teach Love and Peace instead of violence? Why no miracles, signs was performed by him? Yes he wrote the koran, but is that a miracle? because that is the only Miracle Mohamed claimed he performed. undecided))

Then you have to proof this verses to me, I mean what they mean,  maybe its the bible that is lying or Jesus or the God of the bible==

((U don't beed multiple clearance on it, @Judek2 has helped u out.))

Matthew 15:22-24:

22And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

So tell me what he mean by he was not sent but to the lost sheep of Israel? since the woman is not an Israel that was why he dont wanna help her and telling his desciples that he wasn't sent to her tribe.

Matthew 19:28:

28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Why dint he say he is going to Judge the world but only the 12 tribes of Israel meaning from each Disciples

Verse 18 tells us, "And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew," that's a mild way of saying, "there came a storm." Matthew and Mark tell us it was really some storm. West of the Sea of Galilee are some valleys and gorges. The Sea of Galilee is approximately 682 feet below the Mediterranean and firing down those gorges was a tremendous wind that hit the surface of that little sea and it began flipping the sea up and down, the waves became large, the wind was blasting against their little boat as it struggled. They had to pull the sail down undoubtedly and row and pull against the strength of the sea and the wind toward Capernaum. The storm, Matthew and Mark tell us, increased in intensity, the night deepened, they were pushed off course and Matthew says they wound up in the midst of the sea fighting the storm. Matthew tells us that it was the fourth watch, that is from three to six in the morning, that means they have been toiling for at least twelve hours to go five miles, thrown all over that sea. Dark. And I'll tell you, if I know anything about those guys, if I know anything about those disciples, there was one person they were longing for more than anyone else and that was Jesus Christ. And I know it because later on when He arrived they pulled Him into the boat and fell at His feet and worshiped Him. And it wasn't so much they wanted His miracle as they would His presence for in the midst of any storm the presence of Christ is comfort enough, is it not? The true disciple doesn't say, "I want Your miracle." The true disciple just says, "I want You." That's enough

And so, Paul illustrates that when he says, "I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be, what?, content," and why? Because he was in the presence of Jesus Christ which precluded any circumstances. So I'm sure they were desiring Jesus and we'll see in a minute one of them was, I know. Had He been there even asleep, they would have felt secure. But He wasn't there. Perhaps, perhaps they thought He had deserted them. Perhaps they thought they were going to perish, the storm was very dangerous and they wanted Him. But, you know, whenever somebody wants Jesus Christ in that way, whenever they long for His person, He arrives and Christ did in the right time at the right moment He came.

But then through the providence of God a native that was outcast from the tribe found his way to John, scared the tribe was after him and began to communicate in little words. Pretty soon there was enough communication for John to share with him. He began to share the gospel with him, thank you, sir, he began to share the gospel with him, just in a simple level. It took a matter of days to communicate. He learned how to say stone and tree and all of this and pretty soon he told them there was a God who had a Son who died, and so forth. Over a period of about a week or so he led this native to Jesus Christ and that native brought another native. And pretty soon he had a little group of protectors and they would hide him when the natives came to kill him. And his biography reads like a jungle adventure, like nothing you've never read.

Well, as God would have it, John Payton stayed on those islands for 35 years. And at the end of 35 years he said in his biography, "I do not know of one single native that has not made a profession of faith of Jesus Christ." You see, that's what one man does with unquestioning, unhesitating obedience. The cost isn't the question, obedience is. And oh, the beauty of a disciple that's obedient.

And so these disciples in just a simple little way were obedient to Christ and it opened them up to one of the most fantastic miracles that Christ ever did, didn't it? Obedience. There is a second virtue of true discipleship and it's right here, it's this, they desired the presence of Christ. Disciples desire His presence. If I'm a disciple of Christ, I want to be with my Lord, right? If I follow my Master, I want to be where He is. And these disciples, I can see them going around in that little sea in that little boat saying, "I wish Jesus was here." And I'll tell you something, when the storm came up, they really started wishing Jesus was there. And it doesn't say anywhere that they wanted Him to stop the storm, it only indicates they just wanted Him there. And I just believe that if He had been there just in the boat, storm or no storm they wouldn't have mind it, just to have Him there. You see, that's all discipleship is, discipleship doesn't say, "Jesus, do this trick," and, "Jesus, do magic," and, "Jesus, do a miracle," and, "Jesus, show me a wonder." Discipleship just says, "Just as long as You're here, that's all I need." That's a disciple. They didn't care so much about the power of Christ, they just wanted His presence.

Now Payton didn't argue. Took his little bride, got on a ship and they took off for the New Hebrides. No questions asked. Now I look at my own life, when I was in seminary if God had come to me and said, "Listen, MacArthur, I'd like you to go to an island of man-eating cannibals," you know what I would have said? "Now, God, I just want to share a couple of thoughts with you. God, I graduated from seminary. I made it. I'm, why should I be somebody's lunch? Listen, God, I know a Bible-school dropout. They'll eat him and who will know? His ignorance will never come across. Why me?"

Well that's what the flesh would say, that's not what John Payton said. He gathered up his little wife and the boat let him off 200 yards from shore in a little dinghy and they rowed to the shore. What do you do when you arrive on an island you don't know the language, you can't speak one word and you've got man-eating cannibals? Well you don't stick a sign in the sand that says, "VBS next Saturday." It's a little more difficult than that.

What do you do? You pray a lot and you stay awake a lot. And that's exactly what they did. And they watched and the natives watched, and then they watched, and it just was a constant thing. And the natives never seen people like that before, of course, were just struck with them. Well several months went by and one day his wife gave birth to a little baby. Two weeks later the baby contracted a tropical disease and died and a day later his wife died and he buried those two side-by-side right in front of the little lean-to he had built on the shore there. And he said in his biography, "I slept on the graves for three nights to keep the natives from digging up the bodies and eating them." And he said, "I said to God, 'Just how far does obedience go, God? What do You want from me?'"
