1) You see why I can't stop myself from insulting you
2) I answered you based on the law. Why the law can allow hijab and why it cannot provide for robes and garments? You aren't daft, are you? Hijab is compulsory, robes and garments are not. Muslims wear hijab everytime, Christians don't wear garments all the time. It is a part of a Muslimah's identity, robes aren't part of a Christian's identity.
3) Nigerians Christians are two faced hypocrites. Not all sha!
4) CAN ordered them to wear robes to school to cause mischief. I AM STILL SEARCHING FOR WHERE THE 'SUBSTANTIVE BODY' asked all Christians to wear robes everyday because it is an important piece of clothing? Why school specifically?
5) Do I need to open your brain and put all these inside undecided
****You are way out of your class here. Which law are you referring to? The Nigerian law or or your own law? The NA passed law or as amended by you? Do you even know what a law is? Local boy. For your information, the present law does not discriminate, if it covers Muslims, it automatically covers others too, except where specified. You see your hijab is compulsory and garment is not arguement doesn't not hold water in law court. Well you wouldn't know anyway ****

You see why I insulted you the first time I quoted you. You are dvm***, accept it. this issue is beyond your grasp.

A Muslim has valid and firmly rooted reason to wear hijab, it is part of her identity aka expression. A Christian don't have the same relationship with robes or garments. That is why Muslims can wear hijab to schools in Western countries and A christian can't wear robes!

READ it again and again and again and again and again. In fact, you have my full permission to read a a billion times till it seeks in!!!
You know your problem? Your brain is dead, so you are confused. First, you said law, I killed you on that. Then you said people don't want you to wear your hijab, then I proved to you without a doubt that, no one is against that. Then you started questioning why people should have access to the same privilege the Muslims have, turns out you are the one who is against others and not people being against you. But few minutes ago you were saying Christians are intolerant, now who is that intolerant one here? Next minute, you'd say your religion is of peace (quite unfortunate that I had to say that).

Think things through and ask yourself what you people really want. Why is it that, it is this your boko haram gorvenor disrupting a peaceful state.

And to put a dynamite to your Christian garment assertion, well CAN ordered that students should start wearing garments to school in Osun and the last time I checked, CAN is the substantive body coordinating the affairs of Christianity in Nigeria. So now what's it you are saying about Christian not wearing garment everyday?

Ps: don't expect anymore responses from me, like I said, you do not worth it

Nobody is saying you should not wear it but don't wear it in Baptist school. But since you have a law that says anyone can have freedom of expression, they are saying, they'll go to your ansarudeen schools and wear church garment to school too. Do you think they should too?

Good now let's test your intelligence real quick. Regardless of what the intent behind the garments is, do you think the Christian students are covered by the same freedom of religious expression law which covers the Muslim students or not?

If yes, do you still think, he can still do 'whatever he wishes' to those students even with that law covering them?

Not for a minute have i mention anything about banning hijab, I mean this thing has been around for like forever but my problem is with aregbesola threatening the other side for wearing their own religious garment or accessory. It's like saying, hey this freedom of religious expression law covers the Muslim to wear their hijab, but unfortunately, it can't cover the Christians and the traditionalist. Isn't that hypocritical? I wouldn't expect you to see it that way anyway. You are who you are.

Something of this nature always baffles my mind. Babatope should not politize this issue. The muslim fought for their right legally and won in court. Why is it that anything muslim needs in this country, Christians will always want to make case on it? I attended a christian school( catholic) for both my primary and secondary, we pray in Christians way and I know much of christian way of life than islam when I was growing up without any problem. Meanwhile, this skul is a public skul. Xstian put on crosses in almost all the skul and wear beret cap. We pray and close our eyes without any question from our parents who sent us to public schools. Also, the Islamic clerics have never challenge while this must be done in public schools but when it come to christian side they must always complain. I think the best thing to do by govt is to handover back the schools to the owner if they can't control the activities of the schools again. Let the missionaries that are ready to fight for their children continue the affairs of the schools. Or if possible govt should change the name from christian name and muslim to we'll acceptable to guarantee that, the schools is know more own by the missionaries.
Like you said, you attended a Christian school, so you should expect everything to be conducted in a Christian way. If you were to have attended a Muslim school it would have been different. And you know why your parent didn't object, 1. Cos they understand that it's a Christian school and expect that'll happen 2. They didn't care much about religion in education, they just wanted the best education for u.

Now this is the concept the invalid governor aregbesola cannot understand. Baptist school will never accept hijab, same ansarudeen will not accept church garment.

When no person compel the Christian students to wear ijhab in dat school why crying ignorantly when Muslim children decided to obey their Holy Quran {33:59}. And court had already ruled they are free to wear it while not wait for d appeal court to decide d matter instead of useless and unnecessary wailing.
And where did you see Christians fighting Muslims for obeying the Quran? Have u seen Christians fighting Muslim students for wearing hijab? No. They are only saying, since there's a law that permit 'us' all to have freedom or expression, then let us express our own freedom too. Would you say thats wrong by any standard? No. So if there's anyone like aregbesola threatening sanctions for expressing ur right, what do you call that? Isn't that deprivation of constitutional right? So that's the fuse about? What are you on about?

No principal or headteacher have any right to send any student away if the government through the ministry of Education did not ban the use of hijab so fat it is of the same colour with the uniform.

The allegation of Governors promoting the use of hijab is totally unfounded and I will be the last person to buy into that . Ambode is a Christian governor in Lagos while Ogun is not experiencing this under Amosun who is a Muslim governor so please let the God fight his battle.

The Muslims have been cohabiting with the Christians in the SW without any quarrel now some of us are advocating for division among ourselves. God will not help them .

let's maintain the mutual respect and continue to live in peace or the two religions should be banned from the public.

I thought you all mostly accuse the Muslims of been extreme ? Your own stance too is extreme already. The judgement is based on hijab and anybody that feels like wearing robes to school should just go to court to get that enforced or face the consequences of their action.

And for the court rulings , if a state high gave a ruling you don't like you should proceed to the appeal court and from their you can head to the supreme and the last time I check we have only one supreme court in the land .

As it stands now the governor have no legal power to stop students using their hijab until the appeal or supreme court rule otherwise. doing so will amount to the contempt of the court which is a serious offence.
Dude, you are arguing like an illiterate. I'm sure you are thinking the court allowed Muslim students to wear hijab because you think there's a new law crafted out to allow them because they (the Muslims) went to court, hence you are asking the Christians to go do the same. If you were educated, you'd know that the same law that permit Muslims to wear hijab to school also allow Christians and traditionalists to wear whatever they deem fit to school. So if anyone, e.g aregbesola doesn't like this, he is the one to go to court seek an injunction to stop them. But as far as the law permit freedom of religion or religious expression, then nothing can stop the other students from wearing their own religious attires.

I believe we read something like this happening at the NYSC camp last year but was quickly resolved.

Caveatemptor has narrated the Decca - shit incident that occurred in the 1970s, so I'll narrate the murder incident. This case was widely covered by the Saturday papers then and Femi Falana also narrated part of it yesterday.

A man called Shokoya, who was the secretary or treasurer of Fela's band was accused of stealing the band's money. It is reported that Fela ordered that the man should be whipped. I don't know what happened after his was whipped, but he was later found dead on the road somewhere (sometime in January '93).

A few months later, the police arrested Fela and the two people that were alleged to have flogged the dead man and charged them to court for murder. Fela alleged that he was not guilty of murder and that the real reason he was actually arrested for political reasons.

Femi Falana yesterday narrated part of what happened during the trial (he didn't mention Fela's name until he had almost finished the story).

Mr Falana said that usually, when he wants to plead for bail for his client, he would tell the judge that his client has "no criminal record", but it was well known that this particular client had a criminal record, so he told the judge that his client had a "good criminal record".

Anyway, he was able to get bail for Fela and one of his boys, but he couldn't secure bail for the other boy because he couldn't get a good and responsible surety for him.

He said that his client was always on his case, saying, "You say you be human right lawyer, but my boy don dey for prison since". He said that he would always assure the client that he would get the boy freed.

Then Femi Falana had to travel for a conference and the client approached one of the lawyers in his chamber, "This your oga, I noo know wetin e dey do. See my boy don dey for Kirikiri since. Come, make I tell you wetin we go do". So they got another one of the client's boys and dressed him in a suit and took him to court to stand surety.

The judge asked the surety for his name and the surety told him his name. He then asked the surety for his occupation and he told the judge that he sells ogogoro (the lawyer was shocked by this answer). The judge then had a clue of what was happening. So he asked the surety if he sells indian hemp. The surety said that he doesn't know what that is, so the judge asked him if he sells igbo and he replied, "I dey try sah".

At this point the judge was furious and threatened to detain both the lawyer and the guy. The lawyer had to do everything possible to placate the judge.

When they left the court, the lawyer angrily asked the boy, "How could you say that you sell igbo?" And the boy said, "Fela say make we no dey lie",
Wow... This is an extremely funny story menh. Damn, Fela was a god. I don over laugh menh.

In the hint of demands to make June 12, Nigeria’s true democracy day, Seun Kuti, one of the sons of Afrobeat Legend, Late Fela Anikulapo shared a background story on the acclaimed winner of the June 12 election and his wife, Late Simbiat Abiola.

It will be recalled that Fela in one of his song title International Thief Thief (ITT) accused Abiola, Obasanjo, Muritala Muhammed and others of conniving with an international telecommunication company to embezzle money.

Read Seun Anikulapo Kuti’s Facebook post below…

[b]“Give me shít; I give u shít!!:

A certain Simbiat Abiola reported to the Police that FELA ANIKULAPO-KUTI, and his robbery gang stole her red car(make and model unknown) at gun point. Her husband, then a dear friend of IBB and Obasanjo took up the case to the Commissioner. Now this was a blatant lie against a man who never stole a penny in his life unlike them oooo. Fela was promptly arrested and thrown in jail. Abiola and the Police had tortured and bribed three ex convicts as prosecution witnesses to confirm Fela as the leader of their gang. This is a super true story ooo. Don’t be surprised, lemme continue. Fela was charged to court and 2 witnesses had confirmed Felas as their leader and the penalty under military was death! The 3rd witness though, was an ex kalakutian who Fela exiled because he stole. The young man’s conscience couldn’t take it and right there and then in court he spoke the truth that saved Fela lives. Now Fela was acquitted but Abiola and his wife were never tried for attempted murder. This was an attempt at Felas life through his well planned CIA gimmick.

Now to revenge, Fela rents a truck full of shit and goes to Abiola’s house at midnight, the rest is history. Give me shit, I give u shit has been on repeat all morning. June 12 day my gluteus Maximus”

With Seun’s story, one can begin to connect the dots of why Fela abhorrs Abiola and the Military rulers of his time who unfortunately are the ones still controlling the Nigeria’s political system till this moment.
This boy should go and sit down somewhere and shut his mouth. He's the one telling us super story here. First, he was not there at the time as he was probably not yet born. Secondly is that, he failed to tell the whole world that Abiola, Obasanjo and his father Fela were friends from cradle. Matter of fact, the three attended the same secondary school. So this kid is only telling us one side of the story.

Yes Fela is a hero. A true Nigerian hero whom we all adore, but let this boy know that he needs not defame someone else in an effort to garner praise for Fela. Fela is Fela. Abiola is Abiola. Obasanjo is Obasanjo. They 3 are great men. Period!

This dude did not lose money. Shareholders sold of their bonus shares, institutional investors bought them up. From what I understand, a good portion of investors cashed in their chips which caused the share price to fluctuate.

Femi is still the biggest winner here, he issued 216 million shares—and got for himself 170 million of those shares, leaving for the other share holders a measly 46 million. Two things: He further consolidated his majority shareholding position and kept money in his pocket. Wise guy.

I personally do not see a single problem or fault in the policy statement. 3gb should be enough for any reasonable person during peak period and if you have heavy stuffs to download, do it thru the mid night, how difficult is that? But no, they all want to download "free" movies (which impoverishes their lives) at the same time and still expect the speed to be the same or not affect the service provider.
