Foreign AffairsRe: Breaking News - Arab League Criticises 'No Fly Zone' - They Now Support Gaddafi? by pleep(m): 11:45pm On Mar 20, 2011
I do. And those News Channels are saying that is what the Libyan state TV is saying. But as the same TV channel was saying a couple of days ago that Gaddafi wasn't killing people and that a ceasefire was in place, when it wasn't, I wouldn't give it a second's thought.

Also, France was in Cote d'Ivoire a few years ago. Remember?
As for Yemen, the UK was there a while back.

Read history and learn.
Ok, the western media you love and adore so much was saying Ghaddafi was using african mercinaries a few days ago. That has been disproven.  People like you will blindly trust whatever the western media says because to you belive they are "unbiased" These same people have made the world think that there is nothing in Africa but AIDS war, starvation, and savage stupid people.
Foreign AffairsRe: Can Nigeria Defend Her Self From Foreign Invasion by pleep(m): 11:31pm On Mar 20, 2011
the Nigerian military has about 67,000 profesional men. There is no way nigeria, or any country, could hope to compete militarily with the U.S canada, the E.U, China or russia. The military dominance of the west will continue forever.  keep in mind the u.s spent 663,255,000,000 on its military in 2009 alone.

so true, no-one was listening to what the AU had to say, according to one account, the african nations who voted in favour of the resolution expressed reservations about the military intervention but were ignored. i think this might be the beginning of the recolonisation of africa.
Well, it seems like most africans are too stupid to accept that the west does not operate in their interests. The First colonization was Europes fault the second one is africa's fault.

It's the same old, tired crap.

They already have the oil deals if they want them. The UK does not import from Libya. The US imports negligable amounts.

There would be no difference in oil trading with a new regime than there is with a new one.
Its not about oil trading. the west is protecting thier Oil interests in libya the west doesnt want a man like ghaddafi to control  the largest oil reserves in the continent because that gives him power over them. Also the price of oil has increased because of this crisis. Thus the west has an interest in ending it soon. Also, a lot of the oil in libya is pumped by a government controlled company. After they enact a democray the oil surely will be privatized and companies like B.P, shell and exoon Mobile wil swoop in.

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Orders Akwa Ibom To Transfer 86 Oil Wells To Rivers by pleep(m): 5:37am On Mar 19, 2011
If I were from Akwa Ibom, I'd be boiling mad. Mad enough to lynch this Victor Attah if I ever ran into him.
indeed I am! This is absolutly rediculous nonsense! angry but it's slightly consoling to remember that the state gov probably wouldn't have used this money for anything good anyway. sad
CultureRe: Are Africans Proud Of Black Americans? by pleep(m): 3:00am On Mar 19, 2011
Ill second inked Nerds post. A.A's approach african americans with a superiority complex, but Africans quickly lose respect for you guys because africans abroad are usually very academically oriented. A,A's are simply not. ive been made fun of countless times by A'A's when i was younger and went to an all black school. Many A.A's seem to think that by being smart and talking properly you are trying to act 'white', how could africans be pround of that?

also my dads is a teacher, hes been teaching in the U.S for 20 yrs but nevertheless. the african american students always have an ignorant attitude dont try to learn. for some reason the white students always say; "i like your accent" "its so cool" "were are you from?" but the black ones always say "i cant understand you your an awful teacher" and "you should go back to africa" huh after a while you get sick of the B.S from both the white people and the blacks.

Why did god make Mentaly handicapped people? or people with skitzophrenia? or kleptomaniacs? everybody has thier crosses to carry. homosexual's cross is probably a bit heaveir than the average person, because gay secs is a bad sin and people should just remember God loves them, and there is a reward in heaven.

Hy,
this business is mostly run by illiterates who hardly come online.
however, big farms are never ready to expose their secrets online.

If you really want to do this business on a large scale, I can only advice you to travel to northern states for proper business survey. I have interest in the business, but my capital has not risen to what I desire, land is another factor.

It is a very profitable business, but capital gulping.
thanks for replying.
but do you know what the current prices for young or mature cows is?

The same way america wanted to help iraq abi? How many people paid for it with their lives? There is no need to reply you, we shall see one year from now where libya would be.
.   Haha I was going to jump in and start posting on this topic but I noticed that you said EXACTLY  what I planned on saying.  In a much more level headed, clear and logical way than I would have. But anyways I agree wih you, this no fly zone will be a serious military operation and now That The u.n is commited to removing ghaddafi the violence is very likely to escalate. Unfair to the Libyan people indeed.

Tm is crunch time. Haha the Arab leauge is so hypocritical. ghaddafi is not so much worse than saddam hussien but when the u.s intervened in Iraq they were calling it "annexation" "invasion" and " imperialism". Very odd timing for the no fly zone, much to late to make any difference it seems.
i dont think thats fair though. Africans seem to compare their best with black americans worst. Overall black americans do well if not better than any african group in -politics,business,entertainment etc Black americans hold africans down as far as a worldwide voice. So the thought of africans trying to seperate themselves from black americans is funny to me
On the contrary Nigerian americans are the highest achieving immigrant group in the united states according to the U.S census in 2006 33% of of Nigerians in the United States had bachelor's degrees, 17% had master's degrees,As of that year 8% of White Americans had master's degrees, and 12% of Asian Americans had master'sand 3% of Asian Americans had doctorates i dont know the number for A.A's, but one can only assume its less. As for politics. Obama is an african, and for business i dont think you can compare 12% of the U.S population to an entire continment. African americans do dominate the worldwide voice however, but that is usually through entertainment and sports.
the thought of africans trying to seperate themselves from black americans is funny to me
I think more black americans seek to seperate themselve from Africans
CultureRe: Are Africans Proud Of Black Americans? by pleep(m): 4:15am On Mar 18, 2011
Well i would like to start of by saying that AA's have done the more for race relations and the curbing of racism than any other group, ever. And have also probably overcome the most adversity and overwhelming odds. we all benifit from your achievments. Considering all the B.S you guys had to go through black americans were doing wonderfully well until about the 1980's interestingly, when Uncle Toms Cabin was Written A.A men were known for being extraordinarily family oriented ( a very african trait) But when the crack epidemic came along it basically shattered the whole culture, and now one really thinks about the way it was before. just compare the way jesse owens or MLK (who was in his early 20's) speaks and acts to the average black person today. it seems like A.A's have made it their mission to be as ghetto and steriotypical as possible nowadays. But anyway, the average joe nigerian seems to adore african americans and emulates you guys in every way he can (speech, music, dress, behavior). ,  but many africans, especally educated ones, dont appreciate the many negative steriotypes that get associated with them because of  A.A steriotypes. not to mention that black americans are the most ignorant people on the subject of Africa i have EVER met.

justwise:
You are a brain dead mor.on
I was just trying to make a point through crude satire.
You see Ive defended A.A black people in the U.S for years. Attempting to explain to Pol why they act gangsta, and their disproportionate involvement in crime. The reasons are obvious: marginalization, media, poverty, crack epidemic etc.
People have often asked me why i dont act 'black', that is act like a (N-word), i would always say because I'm a Nigerian and our culture hasn't been shaped (ra.ped) the way A, A culture has.
But then you see Nigerians, even immigrants, acting in the exact same way as the negative stereotype suggests, even selling drugs! there is no excuse for that. Are we silly enough to assume the stereotypes A.A's fight fought so hard to avoid? Ive often wonderd why i didn't end up acting (gangsta) like many Nigerians i know and honestly sometimes it seems like it was a miracle of nature.
