In the violence of the last fortnight, the colonel's African connections have only served to rekindle a deep-rooted racism between Arabs and black Africans. As mercenaries, reputedly from Chad and Mali fight for him, a million African refugees and thousands of African migrant workers stand the risk of being murdered for their tenuous link to him. One Turkish construction worker told the BBC: "We had 70-80 people from Chad working for our company. They were cut dead with pruning shears and axes, attackers saying: 'You are providing troops for Gaddafi.' The Sudanese were also massacred. We saw it for ourselves." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-12585395
wow, i knew this would happen, why did he have to get 'black' people involved? all i hear on the news about this is black africans commiting atrocities killing raping torturing etc. just another blemish on africans already filtly image. |
The most beautiful woman i have ever seen was Nigerian. |
OK everyone, drumroll please, i have discovered the solution to corruption in Nigeria! transparency, at the state level the governor would make it mandatory for the commissioners, etc. to publish how much money they were allotted in a given month, and what they spent that money on. the records would be made public for scrutiny. this simple transparency law would drastically reduce corruption in Nigeria. because it would bring accountability to the system the only reason countries like the U.S are not as corrupt as Nigeria is because of transparency. the government officials know they cant get away with it. so they don't try. |
Innoson is not moter company, It is simply an assembler of Asian cars so quality Is about the same as yamaha hyndai or Toyota, The price is just lower becuz the vehicles are actually made here, |
ezeagu:are these autherntic nsibidi numerals? or a modern adaptation? |
the racist/ sectartian/ triabalist forum should be deleted!!!!!!!!! |
YES YES YES! these written languages should definatly be revived! we need to top looking to the west for culture. |
Jen33:were such insults neccesary? most of of were unaware of "innosongroup". |
God rules this world. |
How do you guys think asia got in the position to be supplying the world with thier products? PROTECTIONISM PROTECTIONISM PROTECTIONISM. That is how hyundai started the korean goverment literaly outlawed any vehicle not assembled in korea. do you think hyundai would have been able to compete without this edge? no. Africa is the least protectionist continent in the world and it shows. |
octave:3> 5.5*10**9/150/550 ans = 6.6667e+04 So $66.7K per bus? That is a phenomenal deal, and a great price. Can anybody in Nigeria build an entire bus for under $70K? I don't think we can do that here in the US or even with Mexican labor; labor is too expensive. Maybe India can do it that cheaply. Certainly nobody in Nigeria can. I wouldn't be surprised if the bus costs $150k+ to build in Nigeria.
that is a great price, but what about the quality? with these kind of things you get what you pay for and china is not known for quality. also wouldn't it be better for the govnt to invest in the domestic market? this would create tons of jobs remember, that 150k is going DIRECTLY into the nigerian economy instead of china's. despite the extra cost isnt it worth it? its the peoples money right? haha |
2k a day? sign me up! jk |
Chinese make things cheaper than Nigerians can ![]() What if it turns out ANNAMCO and INNOSON vehicles cost 50% more than Chinese ones? Would you yourself buy local? ![]() HArd to be competitive making things that require electricity.
your right dude, nigeria is so skrewed up. |
This makes me so angry, buying from the nigerian companeis would create jobs, and develop our auto industry. why are we so stupid?! |
cleopatra and most of the pharoes after alexander the great conquered eygpt were not even eygptians they were greek. but I know for a fact that the early, true eygptian pharoes where black. nefertiti, and most egyptian women, for example were completly bald. they mostly wore wool wigs. kinda reminds you of african women today no? haha |
extra judicial killings are a big problem in Nigeria. but no one says anything because it keeps criminals off the streets. what do you think? do these killings make Nigeria safer, or do they just indicate that Nigeria is a savage lawless country? |
I sick of being disgraced like this. why does it always have to be black drug dealers? why can the black minoritiy in a country be prosperous for once!?!? |
Kobojunkie:like i said earlier, if there is something i do not know about Ghadaffi enlighten me. what has he done in that past that is so bad? |
Kobojunkie:the media has a habit of portraying ppl like hugo chavez, and Ghaddafi as villians, i have heard that ghaddafi is a terrorist etc. but ive done a little research, and he didn't seem to be that bad. but if you know something i do not know pls enlighten me. |
turboman:Indeed, and almost every oil rich middle eastern country uses this system. Quater wants to pay its citezens 3000 a month, up from 1500 at the beggining of the protests. they essentially bribe their citizens not to complain. the stability of the middle east is a sham. |
jude33084:haha that made me laugh. your right though |
This is nothing new for the arabs. One king of morroco had a personal army of 5,000 black slaves. another sultan in the ottoman empire had thousands of sudanese boy soldiers. why do they all do this? |
What we need is a real patriot to get into a high office. and compleley overturn the political system it must start at the state level. |
Kobojunkie:dont get me wrong ghadaffi has overstayed in office. but Most of the protesters are young people and have always known ghaddafi as their president. They naturaly would blame every problem on him, im not saying he is an angel he has a poor human rights record an probably some curruption, but there is no denying he improved libya. unemployment can make anyone angry but that is not neccecarily ghadaffis fault. sorry to bring this up again, but all you have to do is compare libya to nigeria, the main difference is leadership. but libya is a much better place to live. |
Kobojunkie:by good i mean long term positve effects on the country. The libya of now is certainly much better than it was in 1969 when ghaddafi took over. he managed his natural resources well, and improved his country. however, nigeria is certainly not better than it was in the 60's, infact nigeria is much worse. that is because he had a long string of bad leaders. |
Kobojunkie:We must keep in mind that all these 'strong men' in N. Africa were actaully very good for thier countries, they brought stability and economic growth, ( at least more than in the south) and i also liked his pan africanism. |
your KIDDING?? i used to really admire gaddafi. someone needs to assasinate this guy. |
