What baffles me the MOST is not because of blacks marrying and having babies with whites. That is nothing new to me. But how someone who is black treats another black person like poo and extend deity like respect to the others of pale spectrum. That baffles me to this day.
mental slavery at its finest ![]() its so so sad that the black man is second class in his own country. |
chic2pimp:Actually i dont think mixed children get preferential treatment in nigeria, not yet atleast. because we have alot of lighter complexioned people already. I know one of my uncles looks sort of mixed with straitish hair and he got made fun of because of it. haha but that was a while ago. |
@Rossike, It shows that you were right about what? Even if there is a catastrophe that leads to the annihilation of Japan, you will still have no point! So why haven't you called for an end to air travel simply because there has been many fatalities from air crashes? The way people think just baffles me. Like I said earlier, it takes a liberal to think that success in life can be attained without a measure of risk.
Do you know that what you are saying is a obvious logical fallacy? The slippery slope to be specific. if you dont know what that is perhaps your three year old brain should look it up. Your trying to compare air travel to " a catastrophe that could annihilate japan?" are those to things even comparable? if air travel has the potential to kill or injure 127 million people instantly perhaps air travel should be banned. your argument sounds logical on the surface but below that its just nonsense. |
sorry to ressurect this thread, But this kind of stuff makes me so angry. People must realize that everyone is intitiled to their own opinions, but NOT thier own truth. With the rise of obviously biased news outlets like Fox, And Msnbc. and revisionist texbooks around the globe. i fear that this new generation will be so brainwashed that they will loose the ability to think for themselves. so sad ![]() |
Were i live. white men dont even awknoledge the presense of black girls unless they are drop dead gorgeous. And if they mixed and attractive they are regarded as white but if thier ugly thier said to black, i know this 1/4 mixed girl who people call black because shes unnatractive, But anyway I think it would be safe to say that through media the white women has become the unviersal standard of beauty, and this is begining to apply to white men also. i dont belive there is a such thing as interracial marrigage because i dont belive their is a such thing as 'race' as it is currently defined. But, just look at countries like the philipines or thailand were average white man can go and be treated like a sexual deity interlopping with women that should be out of his leauge. I heard of this white guy who said one woman asked him to have sex with her daugeter so that she could have white baby! in the united states Asian women often do not even look at asian men, i dont want the same to happen in Nigeria. |
According to Steve Chu, the energy secratary of the United states the disaster is now worse than the Three mile island nuclear meltdown. And all these re.tard nairalanders were blindly defending the descision to build reactors in japan. You guys take your idiocy and hero worship of japan and shove it up ur a$$. |
It's interesting how people can miss the point. The fact is that fallout from a violent nuclear meltdown can cover large areas of land. Fallout from chrnobyll went as far as England. Such projects set a dangerous precident for neighboring contries. Imagine if the u.s tried to despose of nuclear materials in space? That would be unnaceptable becuae of the risk involved in the event of a crash. japan had evey legal right to build nuclear facilities. And there were some safeguards in place to prevent such an occurance and quite a bit of luck as well. But this is an issue of internaional ethics and not as clear cut as some ppl seem to think it is. If they can't make hem 100% safe is it worth the risk to neighboring countries? |
fstranger3:. I don't think this post is intended to criticize Asians as a "race" it's just about the unwise decison to build nuclear reactors in japan, It was obviously a bad idea because many of them are destroyed or partially destroyed risking he health of many ppl. Btw In the united states nigerians are the most educated and highest preforming not Asians look it up. So given the right cercumstances nigerians are just As smart as Asians. Keep that in mind and try to have as some pride in yourself and your people. Many of us are much smarter than you. |
fstranger3:hahahahHahaha what an silly person! I can't stop lauging lol! The king of all inferiority complexes! ![]() |
fstranger3:Hahahahaha did his guy really just say that? What a duma$$ !! lol so nigerians aren't smart enough to" question judgment of the japanese"? The people who built nuclear reactors on an earthquake zone. Wow, |
Haha well we know thell never be an actual A.A president. |
Wow I didn't noticed that .Thanks for bringing it to my attention. |
and for once, all is quiet in nairaland, |
which other countries would be affected? If the wind had blown to the west Mainland japan, Korea, and China would have definatly been affected. but i guess the real issue is the logic behind building Nuclear reactors on some of the Hottest earthquake zones on earth. What if the quake was directly under the plant? it would be like chernobyll. |
We the people of the federation. I think African Americans need to come down and teach us how to do it.
wth? keep in mind that obama is the child of an african expat. So hes in the same social and educational position that most young Nigerian's abroad are in. I personally think the best hope for nigeria is in the expats, certainly not A.A's most of whom think africa is a jungle full of H.I.V positive zebras. |
i never really thought about it, but your right actually if one of those facilities meltsdown, that could be a big problem for ppl in other countries. , not to mention the ppl in japan. im kinda angry now haha |
Dis wan Na be Aeroplane! ![]() |
CrazyMan:They are scared of the East. they are scared of biafra! ![]() |
The nigerian military would have been useful in the Bokassa peninsuala affair. If france had not stepped in. |
privatisation and trade liberalisation has also helped to lift African economies.eh. |
haha i hope they wont let thier cows vote. if they do however, im sure thier votes will be counted! ![]() |
Hello, i am wondering about the price of young calves in Nigeria, how long it takes for them to grow, were to buy them, who to sell them to, the land and facilities needed, etc. and how to make money from cattle farming in Nigeria. I am also wondering if this is a viable business area and the risks involved. Thanks. ![]() |
wow, those were some touching photos. do you have anymore any more? |
since he's berber and rather traditional it seems, its likely he either has some black or mixed relatives in his family, or at some point has interacted closely with darker skinned people while he was growing up. just finding out now that he used to meet people in the traditional bedoiun tents: http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,2058074_2253594,00.html and his son saif looks a bit black, actually.
haha, thats a little odd but a great way to preserve his berber culture! its also interesting that he choses to always wear traditional N. African clothing which is surprisingly similar to the shahelien clothing ppl wear in N. Nigeria. ill bet another part of his pan-africanism was a desire for more cultural unity and some sort of cultural independance from the developed world. |
If i were an arabian i would be pissed at the amount of money the Saudi family earns from oil, not to mention the rediculous things they spend it on. you can never base a stable country on the exportation of Natural resources, it doesnt employ enough people. thats also something nigeira needs to learn, best case senario for nigeria is to end up like Saudi arabia. or the gulf states, wealthy but currupted by oil. |
To everyone who read what i wrote above. Im not pointing out the negative effects the west has on africa for the sake of blamming the europeans or colonialism for africa's problems rather the opposite. There is a saying that you guys may be familiar with; " trick me once, shame on you trick me twice shame on me" it applies perfectly here. It is africans fault for expecting the cat to teach the mouse how to run. The cat being the west who does not want to help africa, it is not in their interests. it is simply not possible for the whole world to live like an american or a european. Its quite hard to belive that people who have gone through so much hardship at the hands of foreigners would then expect those same foriegners to help them. It is the fault of africans who think the west is thier friend. That is why im spreading the word about this, not to demonize the west but to open africans eyes so they can take charge of thier own future and stop reling on the thier enimies. |
Kobojunkie:. Whatever, I'm sure it gets tiring to argue the same points over and over again. And argument is by nature pointless . I do not want to argue. However, I Really do want to know clearly what your veiwpoint on the west's role in the 3rd world just in a simple sentance or two. I won't criticize or respond |
Kobojunkie:I think we agree on this issue. and i am definatly not blaming it on the foreigners. this one is purely the fault of the poor and the only ones who can fix it are the poor themselves. i belive there was a similar situation in ireland in the 1700's and johnathan swifts essay "a Modest porposal" proposed a magnificent solution to the problem. ![]() Here are a couple of questions for youA. the kenyan government, like most other african, governments looked to the west to help structure thier economy and get them out of debt after colonialism was over. "independant organizations" that had the west's best interests at hearts ( IMF, World Bank) basically led them down a path of privatization. so kenya allowed prizate companies to buy land in the country. These contries governments have little involvement in agriculture becasue this responsibility was shifted to the private companies. the third world often relies on private multinational (western) companies to farm its land these western companies can choose to grow what ever they wish and send it where ever they wish. Because the IMF and world Bank's structural readjustment programs essentially FORCED the 3rd world governemnts to privatize thier resources. B. After the germans commited a horrific genocide on the herero who were farmers perhaps killing as many as 80% of them. thier farmland was given to ethnic germans. currently 6% ,all white, own the majority of commerical land in the country. the ethnic hereo usually live on the desert land that they were forced onto by the colonizer. so the majority of the good land is privatly owned, the Gov has no power over it, and it would be illigal for the namibian government to take this land from the germans. This is a direct example of Colonialism effects on the modern day. So in your mind you are convinced that Nigerian manufacturers, for instance are FORCED to sell their goods to foreigners because Naira does not compare to currency like Euro? Don't you sense how DUMB that actually sounds?? You blame the state of the currency on the Euro and Dollar? Why is the same not happening with China? The currency exhange rate system is controlled by westerners they essentially decide who's currency is worth what. most of it is based on mathimatics like Supply, inflation , and scarcity. but much of it is arbitrary like: stability of government. for example during the cold war not even 4 billion Rubles was equal to one USD. China is too powerful to be pushed around by the west and all they have to do to keep thier currency low is overproduce. its is much more difficult to actually make your countries currency higher. i wached the video many many months ago. i recomend it so highly because it explains what i belive in a much more understandable and precise way. the video did not form my oppinion it rather just provides a way to explain the current world situation in a better way than i physically can. |
