bitweezy: Kano is indeed a big city and the most industrialized city in the North but unlike Abuja and Lagos, were you can live comfortably without feeling discriminated, one can't say the same about Kano, there is a palpable degree of discrimination if you are not a Muslim.Discriminated in what sense? I lived in Kano for some time and never experienced such. I won't, however, list it in my top five. For me it is Owerri (enuf grooving )Benin city Enugu (neatness unparalleled) PH (yeah for me it comes 4th; grossly overhyped IMO) Calabar then next five would be KAduna KAno Uyo warri Apart from Lagos,, I've not really spent in the West, so I can say much about their cities |
Rossy_Bentley: I'll advice you to either sell this car and get another one, a friend of mine has this car too, there was a day we went to drink, he took the car key and told us he's leaving, when getting to the car he was drunk and he mistakenly opened another man's car, (same car) and he then drove it home, when getting home he decide to check the save to pick some money, that was when he realised that wasn't his car, he quickly returned it, meanwhile the owner of this particular car is still at the same joint drinking and not knowing anything. You have GOT to be kidding me??!!!! |

What on earth will it take to put a bullet through the head that moda***k**. DAMN IT!! ![]() |
adezjamz: Billions in United States Dollars??I dey wonder myself |
i just have to weep |
Corruption thrives because the atmosphere for its sustenance are all too conducive in our country. Its as simple as that. I've always insisted I don't see the average Nigerian as being inherently any more corrupt than the average, say American. The problem as always been that of consequence. You make away millions, sometimes billions, and nothing - absolutely nothing - is, or can be, done about it. The sobering reality is that the bigger the amount of money stolen, the more likely one will get away with it. Just how many times have been inundated with the sickening news of persons accused of stealing chickens being made to face the firing squad while the Bankoles, the Mainas, the Igbinedions, the Oduahs, the Odilis, etc are either walking freely or have been rewarded with an OFR. Unfortunate. ![]() |
Deal with the issues raised, yeye |

agabaI23: No, in developed democracies which you compare Nigeria with, the police does not wait for the presidents order to arrest a suspect. It is their job. Where their job stops, that of the Judges start. The president has no business with that sir. That is what this one is talking.Point taken. The president cannot arrest, but he can order a probe. he give EFCC the needed teeth to match its bark. He can distance himself as much as possible from those implicated in graft, rather than granting pardons and rewarding them with chieftancy titles. He can push for a change the obnoxious laws that allows the criminals, with the aid of a smart lawyer, get away with corruption. when his ministers are implicated in allegations of sleaze, he can order a comprehensive probe into the matter and where found wanting, action should be taken, and seen to be taken. |
PRODUTIM1: I got Married a couple of months back and live in a self contained with my wife.2moro my wife's sister is coming 2 paying us a courtesy call.Unfortunately, my wife is presently in hospital and her condition does not necessary needs someone to stay with her.Can I sleep in the sitting room and allow my wife's sister to sleep on our bed or vice versa? Or do we both sleep on the same bed? Nothing is attach o,just want to know before her arrivalYou may have no hidden agenda, but you should understand not everyone will see it that way. Moreover, I'll be surprised if your SIL agrees to sleep with you on the same bed. Abeg no give room for temptattion |
ngozievergreen: its not for your comprehension.err. . .I hope this not what I'm thinking ![]() @OP, I think you are being unnecessarily alarmist. Sabon Gari in Kano has a very large Igbo population. Ditto for Sabo in Kaduna as well as Bauchi States. As long as they are not out to foment trouble, they should be allowed to settle in any part of the country they wish. It waht the consitution guarantees. |
Sincere 9gerian: When the NASS, especially house of reps, politicizes or fumbles and wumbles with probes (eg the Farouk Lawan and SEC probe bribe scandal), then it is only RIGHT that the president conducts his own probe and acts based on his own probe or investigations. For example, the probe by the presidential committee on fuel subsidy established fraudulent practices by fuel marketers initially cleared by house of reps. After all, in the end, the buck stops on the president's table and he has to act based on a well-informed position. ![]() This sincere Nigerian is a funny chap. I have to wonder sometimes, does he really believe what he types? Or it just a fulfilment of what he deems his civic responsibility, which is to defend GEJ at all costs and in all circumstances, no matter how absurd or patently untenable such defence may be? The passion is admirable, I must confess, but clearly misguided. If anyone truly believes the anti-corruption war under this administration is as robust as it should it be, then I must say we are in trouble as a country. |
very good! prepare to meet your creator mr molester but what kind of cold hearted brute would try to ra.pe a 61 years old lady for goodness sake??!! |
Let me also add that quite commendable is the support being given to mission hospitals, well over 2billion. |
Dannylux: Ebsu ranks 5th in the first 5 state Universities in Nigeria and 60th or 56th in general (Not sure)How exactly do you qualify an active health care sector? Is it general hospitals in their deplorable state of dereliction? The lack of common paracetamol in a so-called secondary institution? abeg leave matter! Most of the work in the health are being done by NGOs now: MAPS, FHI, IHVN, etc. The area I can score the old man is in staff welfare. Compared with other states, Ebonyi State is not too bad. |
I just heard some people discussing. any confirmation? |

Chei!! ![]() |
vickyO: Excitation is an English word. Check the dictionary, bebeto.even Op didn't know that ![]() |
Billyonaire: That's just the summary of the contents of their character. They are also chromatographically senile, if not, how can any "corrupt" PDP members, cross-carpeting to APC be called "Progressive". ![]() You remind me of a certain Kosovo. . . |
biafranqueen: The guy must be your father the way you are supporting his nonsense shame on youThe guy must have jilted you the way you are supporting what has largely been settled, rather than face far more pressing issues (like b1tching about marginalization). shame on you. It would have more bearable had your concern been borne out of genuine pity for the poor lady, unfortunately your antecedents ("what are APC doing in Igboland??'') clearly shows otherwise. its all politics to you. SHAME ON YOU!! Its very unlike me to go personal; my post history is testament to that, but the stench of hypocrisy is really becoming insufferable. |
Annini in the making. IF I read correctly, this man killed over ten police officers!! |
aariwa: OP i have never seen millitary girls punishing men.why is it so? LOLI have seen military ladies punishing (not beating sha) men. But OP should realise that it very wrong for a military personnel to get physical with a civilian, be it man or woman. Unless have been specially called to salvage a particularly precarious situation eg a state of emergency or serious breakdown of law, they cannot - or shouldn't - even arrest a civilian. That is what happens in saner climes. But trust Naija, everything here is always. . . ![]() |
So sad |
When we got there, the cars tires with rims and bumper has been changed to give the car a new look and the car had new plate number. Can you imagine?? |
gNow this is really becoming boring. Are there not more besetting issues plaguing your beloved country to discuss? Must you guys politicise everything? Geez! ![]() |
bassette: what if it turns out she wasn't hawking on that street..I fear for you lady..you seem to be unbending..if u notice a wrong state it! What d gov'nor sud av done is come out to tender a public apology or something.we live in modenrn times..things have changed. But again its d poverty/defeatist/victim mentality that plaques d black race..that video is PLAIN wrong end of story!!!If she didn't break any law, why would she be begging? |
