He worked in the Civil Service and retired honorably. he recieves his pension and other benefits, so what else do the government owe him financially? pragmatistm: Thanks so much. To answer the question, nobody worked on the car since the engine was replaced. But I had a nearly fatal crash with the car shortly after then. The only thing I noticed after the crash is that the engine sound deteriorated and the mechanic fixed that by replacing certain exhaust parkings. Not quite long though. I began noticing a deep sound coming under the hood if I rev the car but we tried to identify the cause but to know avail. So the mechanic gave me another appointment so that we can thoroughly check but before then, the noise worsened and the problem I brought upon this thread happened. I don't know if it is the cause of the problem.

Its high time we looked into what constitutes 'gross misconduct'. Unfortunately, if I may say, the constitution gives that sole, unquestionable responsibility to the legislature. If they decide a governor or his deputy practising 'reverse cowgirl' with his wife constitutes gross misconduct, then so be it. There is no room for it to be challenged in the courts; the constitution does not permit it.

I think folks that point to the governor alone in this fiasco are missing it; I believe it goes beyond him. The judge that decided the allegations as preposterous as they were warranted the setting up of panel. The panel--incidentally headed by a lawyer--that indicted Onyebuchi on the flimsy charges, and then of course the lawless lawmakers that agreed with the submission of the panel as sufficient grounds for his removal.
