Come on guys, take it easy. Let me just quickly say have never been a GEJ fan, and perhaps never will. However, this article appeals too much to sensationalism its almost sickening. The paper said the deal fell apart after Cerberus which had earlier received from Nigeria R60 million (N1.02 billion) in its account at Standard Bank, tried to repay the money as it it could not resolve its registration formalities with the South African authoritiesThe $5.7m was supposed to be refunded to Nigeria since the company (Cerebus) could not live up to its agreement as it failed registration with the SA authorities.. Why they chose the unorthodox means wanting to ferry the money back to Naija in cash, rather than through the bank in question, Standar Chatarted? Well only them can answer. IT should be noted that nowhere does it suggest GoN involvement, unlike that of the previous case where the Nigerian security adviser was said to have signed the invoice. no link was established between the GoN and the Nigerian company that made the initial payment, Societe D’Equipments Internationaux Indeed the paper makes this clear: the NPA spokesperson Nathi Mncube, said there were no indications the two transactions were related |
olaeffect: The man should then make himself useful and do the cooking. Not just the cooking but all the household duties.Of course it goes both ways. A man who cannot provide for his home, yet expects his wife to slave away at the kitchen is worse than irresponsible. |
butanep: A man that can't provide food for the family is likewise irresponsible... gbam...very true |
olaeffect: I see this more from the point of view of division of labour. Women still want "responsible men", men that can work hard and take care of his wife and kids.So what if the wife provides the money? |
doofanc: But woe betide her the day I ask her prepare food and she tells me its ''not her responsibility" as many of these fish-brained feminists trolls have been yapping. She go no say its not by mistake I have a pe*** and she a vag***. . LMAO!!! Not by mistake indeed! But really OO, I'm wondering how many of these noise-makers here - i.e those that are actually married - can actually tell their husband to his face that is 'not her responsibility to cook' or that he 'should cook it himself'. Yes, if you have, raise ya hand! I give you 10k ![]() |
BTW it wasn't N100,000, I believe the prize money was 100 pounds (our currency then). |
barcanista: I don't understand this. The man entered into a competition, he won #100,000, which should be about N5m as at that time. He worked in the Civil Service and retired honorably. he recieves his pension and other benefits, so what else do the government owe him financially? Yes he deserves a National Award and Nothing more. We need to spend on important issues and leave these trivial issues for Corporate Bodies and NGOs.It may sound a tad harsh, but I have to agree with you. He entered into a competition, he won and was duly rewarded. It should end there. I don't have a problem with the national award, but salary for life seems overboard, IMO. Its not like he laid down life or anything for cryin out loud! |
Babygal4eva: I'm sorry but do u really believe he won't take her for granted if she always argrees with him, and always says sorry even if he is wrong, I'm not being a feminist but a realist in this case, in my opinion he will see her as a doormat to treat anyhow because he knows she is afraid of losing him or she won't do anything to break her family up, but thats my own opinion I might be wrong.Well, I believe that its only a heartless basstard of a man that would treat such an angel in such a way. Yes, there are, unfortunately a few heartless bastarrds out there. . . However, I believe a majority of many good guys would never take advantage of such a lady. MUTUAL RESPECT!! |
ladycomfort: it is very true my brother I will go down on my kneels , hold his legs and beg him. It cost me nothingChei!!! Wow!!! He will shower you with all the goodies befitting such a spectacular rare breed like yourself. He will project you to the world as his treasure, his jewel, his anchor. He will never mind being your doormat; because he knows you'll never take him for granted. He'll cook for you and bring to your bedside. In a world filled with the "I dont take no shiiit from no man!!" irritatingly noisy but vacuous feminists, you are truly a refreshing, priceless, desperately sought for specie. Stay blessed. ![]() |
shymexx: You're a great woman, and may God give you a great and caring husband - you deserve it. And if your husband ever put his hands on you, just shout me, I'll knock his ar.se out on ya behalf.I tell ya mate ![]() |
ladycomfort: I think it is high time women start respecting their husbands and curbing their tongues. As for me if my husband gets angry I will quickly go down on my kneels and beg him.IS A LIEEEEEEEEE. UNBELEIVABLE!!! NAIRALAND LADIES MUST NOT SEE THIS!! ![]() |
MissMeiya: Stfu idíot. Quote my hypocrisy. Search for it until your eyes bleed. Stúpid little boy.Imbecillic nonentity. Search for your egregious display of such achingly crass and infantile display of idiocy?? You must think I'm as pathetically jobless as your useless, foul-mouthed, cretinous (excuse me Sagamite ) self. NL pls pardon. Plendil is not known to go personal. . . I was provoked ![]() |
ddippset: i expect you to condemn domestic violence in both ways, if you really think it's a family and societal problem; man on woman and woman on man. and not just man on woman.you mind the hypocrites ![]() |
Kinkybraids: why should she shut her mouth? So you can continue to emotionally abuse her since you spared her the beatingBolded 1. That says it all. MUTUAL RESPECT. Refrain from provoking him. Husbands refrain from battering your wives. nuff said. bolded 2. ![]() |
symbian03: This got me laughing hahaha... If it were to be in real life, you'd have locked his shirt loland that's the problem I have with them. Husband has told wife to keep her mouth close. Rather than take heed, knowing there may be consequences, she dares him instead: "you will beat me abi" ie. "Do your worst" Plsssss oooooo. I do not for even a fraction of a second condone domestic violence against women in any form. However, I have to insist that if them wifeys learn to shut their ever vibrating claptraps when politely told to do so, incidents of physical violence may just be a little less common. |
I think they should look into the kinds of materials used in making the roads. The rate at which potholes are developing in them is becoming alarming. |
olaeffect: [s]That is how the devil likes them; intelligent, wise, well spoken but spiritually powerless.empty. |
angelo82: As at sept.30 2013(5yrs statement) from account statement zenith income fund returned 50% and by now judging from the price it must be up to 60% but I didn't check and I don't intend to but I am pleased with the pricing of the fund as there is no fluctuation….wow!! not bad at all. |
". . .Nollywood actress is doing to her 1-year old child" not yours, so OP, mind ya biz. ![]() |
marbee: What of if the weather is cold, do you still sleep unclad? Or your husband is always dressed, will you be the one to always dress unclad? Where is the OP? To come and answer the question.\ @bolded, all the more reason you should sleep unclad. Your bodies touching will help keep each other warm |
Kai! Going through this thread just makes me wonder. . . Laird: A FEW TIPS FOR LADIES WHO WANT A HUSBAND:You didn't say anything about her bedmantic abilities!! ![]() But really, I dont know why I find the aphorism above hilariously funny. Soory oo dont mean to be rude, but some of you ladies are clowns. . . ![]() |
aisha2: No one misunderstood youNo there is not. ![]() BTW rumour has it you just joined the wonderful institution. true? |
NLders obviously don't read. The article clearly says the man died of heart attack and people are asking silly questions. Yes, it is surprising for a 23 years old man, but not impossible. The rapid rise in BP following each successive organsmic thrill must have put increasing pressure on the heart, which could have already been compromised. IT gave out once the limit was exceeded. poor thing. . . |
BananaBender: Yes.what if his p***is is manipulated by his wife until the man releases? |
pragmatistm: Thanks so much. To answer the question, nobody worked on the car since the engine was replaced. But I had a nearly fatal crash with the car shortly after then. The only thing I noticed after the crash is that the engine sound deteriorated and the mechanic fixed that by replacing certain exhaust parkings. Not quite long though. I began noticing a deep sound coming under the hood if I rev the car but we tried to identify the cause but to know avail. So the mechanic gave me another appointment so that we can thoroughly check but before then, the noise worsened and the problem I brought upon this thread happened. I don't know if it is the cause of the problem.sory, slightly off topic, but surprised to see this (bolded). I have the liftback model of the car, and was told the engine, like all aluminium engines, cannot be changed. . . |
OliverPin: so you see boobs at ease? Ok I have heard enuff bruh... I understand nowyeah, no biggie. Any guy who gets turned on at the sight of his blood sisters' boobs is the wierdo, IMO. ![]() |
OliverPin: They handicap or what? You and your people are weird bruh(no offence). Happy sundayDont see anything weird. I aslo grew up in the midst of five women (mum plus 4 sisters) and it was common for my sis to move around topless (though not fully nude_) while in the room. I'll would even assist rubbing cream on their back after they shower. |
disgusting!! ![]() |
Nuvally: [s]The problem with us is that we clearly lack knowledge. This man is a Barrister. You think he can impeach his deputy without a tangible reason? Go and read the constitution.[/s] The former deputy Gov was accused of misconduct. [s]And the poultry farm saga happens to be one of them. So u guys think Chime is a fool? I urge u all to go and read the constitution, and then re-read the allegations that was levelled against the former deputy, and come back here and tell me what u made of it. Let's last Reading ve®y well. Not watching 'Epl' & 'Kim K'. Some North and south mofos talking like they know shit. Read the constitution and stop making a fool out urself. Am tired of seeing Useless and non-chalant comments here.Sorry Bros, but the emboldened above, I submit with all due respect, is the only tangible and noteworthy statement in your missive above. Its high time we looked into what constitutes 'gross misconduct'. Unfortunately, if I may say, the constitution gives that sole, unquestionable responsibility to the legislature. If they decide a governor or his deputy practising 'reverse cowgirl' with his wife constitutes gross misconduct, then so be it. There is no room for it to be challenged in the courts; the constitution does not permit it. I think folks that point to the governor alone in this fiasco are missing it; I believe it goes beyond him. The judge that decided the allegations as preposterous as they were warranted the setting up of panel. The panel--incidentally headed by a lawyer--that indicted Onyebuchi on the flimsy charges, and then of course the lawless lawmakers that agreed with the submission of the panel as sufficient grounds for his removal. All aforementioned are involved in this despicable show shame. ![]() |
wow!! I'm waiting to hear the official response of the military to this |
