This is somewhat a catch22 situation; she shouldn’t have broken the law and the commissioner shouldn’t have been so reckless.

michlins: you are saying a different thing altogether. The initial question was, how does he make the money cause I don't think it's his musical career People like this ehn, I pray never to meet them in life. People are here telling you what’s up but you’re still arguing. It’s not even as if you’re making tough points, you’re just arguing nonsense. $100k is nothing in the world. You’re on this side of the globe and fighting with poverty that’s why it seems to be a big deal to you. There are things that cost more than $100k that some decently wealthy people spend money on regularly, keyword “decent”. I’m sure you’ll $h¡t your pants when you study the spending habits of truly wealthy people. Anyway, KB’s earnings this year so far is in a range of $300k to $400k. He also earned an average of $1m in 2019 and 2020 each. Now those numbers are official. Those are the numbers the auditors or Irs will see and work “around”. You don’t want to add money you’ve made from “trapping” to your earnings because it will just be looking for govt trouble so forget any other source of income. With his legit numbers above, I feels $100k is nothing to him. |

rookidmart: OP, please note that the 25 billion capital deposit is for commercial banks (eg like First Bank, access bank, etc)
Kuda (formerly Kudimoney) is a (national) microfinance Bank. They got their licence about 2 years ago or so.
The capital deposit requirement for national microfinance banks is "just" 2 billion naira, and Kudi raised more than $1.6 million dollars in their pre seed round, and they've raised more than $30 million dollars till date.
PS Opay is run by Opera Software through the Paycom company. Opera was bought by the Chinese, so Opay is Chinese. Aha! Thank you! So then someone who has dreams of doing something like Kuda does must either be already rich or raise money through seed rounds to be able to afford a license. This someone is me. Thanks again! |

Did Kuda pay the N25bn minimum capital deposit to central bank before it was issued it’s banking license? https://www.cbn.gov.ng/OUT/CIRCULARS/BSD/2005/REQUIREMENTS%20FOR%20NEW%20BANKING%20LICENSE.PDF As I know it is not affiliated to any traditional bank currently operating, so it’s safe to assume the founders raised that N25bn from various seed rounds? |

escapefromusa: So been allowed into umunna is what makes a man Igbo.
What about men who don't know or can't Identify their umunna.
I repeat only a father or grandfather can disown a son. You cant give what you don't have.
Men have made sons for different fathers and tribes thier sons and they are recognised traditionally even inheriting property.
So no, you cant disown a son, you did not make him a son. What is this one saying? When you don’t have a say in the decisions that affects the advancement of your clan, what does that make you? When the king calls for a meeting with the umunna, you cannot be there. When they bring food or money or drinks for the umunna, you cannot partake. When your child wants to get married, since you are not part of the umunna, the clan will not be represented in the traditional wedding and the other clan seeing this will definitely not want to associate with you. When you have land/property disputes, the clan will only support who they know. As you’re not part of the umunna, go and sort yourself anyhow that will work for you. When your parents die and you want to bury them nko? Lol what state are you from sef? |
Politics › Re: Joe Igbokwe’s Family Disowns Him. Says He’s A Prodigal Son by Plomo: 4:30pm On Jul 02, 2021 |
escapefromusa: The only person that has the right to disown a son is a father or grandfather.
You can stop him from coming to umunna meeting and a few things but his right as an son is not yours to take because it was not yours to give in the first place.

TarOrfeeek: If Philip Emeagwali did not run and hide in Anambra state, during the carnage of your father's evil war - he would have died like the 3 million other children your fathers killed.
The Oil Alakija and Dangote sip routinely to remain rich has led the SS and SE to immense environmental ruin and needless deaths of citizens.
Guess who benefits from that gloom?
The landlocked Northern Fulani hegemonic invaders. Choice infrastructures and unimaginable wealth allocated to a region that produces only beans and fura - which we still buy with our hard earned money.
So what exactly does the North bring to the table asides - carnage, death and destruction of the Southern lands. A region that can be likened to a massive piece of rusty anchor. Weighing the rest of the country down. |

idiagbo86: so far so good,i want to thank u guys who stood out to advise me during this process ,case has been settled and i didnt pay a dime. its good to stand on ur right ,the perm sec who is incharge of the transport ministry due to the death of the commisioner for transport enacted his own law and started extorting motorist . Even their legal practioner told me they had no right to arrest and impound my car. They threatened their lawyer and she backed out ,but i was persistent. luckily the special assistant to the governor on transport called in and my case was presented to him . He is a noble man and opted for immediate release of my car. I asked him afterward if I can drive with the permit and he said hence it's genuine that I can use it . Unless the police request I remove it . Hurray! Here’s one for justice! |

Mix shea butter and aloe vera. Apply as often as you like or when it starts to itch. Thank me later.
Oh oh, you need to improve your personal hygiene especially around your @$$.
Buy and scrub with antiseptic soap, I will personally recommend the original and hot tetmosol.
Bleach and wash your underwears.
Use harpic regularly for your toilet.
And when you want to defecate, don’t use force. Don’t try to push it. Drink lots of water to soften it.
Are you fond of doing heavy lifting? Reduce it and practice better lifting methods.
And by the way, sugar does not typically cause hemorrhoids, it only aggravates it. |
