Thought as much. In Igbo land, the son (depending on how many they are) becomes the owner of the properties once the father dies although the wife(s) get their own cut.

He also has valid claims as the first son and since it was his money that raised the house afterall. If it’s a big enough house, he can live with his mother and his future family but for privacy reasons, he might as well just rent a flat for himself.

However, if he doesn’t want to treat it as a civil matter, he can invite his clan to deliberate on the issue according to the customs of his people.

I was in secondary school (catholic school for that matter) when I stopped going to church. I dragged it with my parents but I let them know that religion, just like marriage is my personal choice. You can’t force me to do what I don’t want to do.

Ignore those telling you not to discuss it with them. A time will come when you want to get married or do something and they, still living under the assumption that you’re a “christian”, will be shocked when you tell them you’re not.

Once again, I am not saying you should be rude to them but there is a way you’ll talk to your father that he’ll know that his boy is now a man.

Buy enough baygon insecticide, bring your form out and spray through the hidden edges, crack walls and furniture & door gaps/joints. Do this repeatedly. Check your neighbors if the entire house is infested. Remember that bed bug can stay one year without food and still survive and it can climb walls as well.

Killing the bug is a small thing. It’s no big deal.

I’m sure you didn’t know that spraying ordinary methylated spirit directly on them kills them fast too? You can try it and see.

The main problem is their eggs. Their eggs are tiny, very well hidden in places where the bugs cannot hide themselves.

Insecticides cannot do anything to their eggs. That’s why after you spray, it seems like you won the battle but give it a few days and they’re back again.

If you want to really get rid of bed bugs then get rid of their eggs and you’ll be free.

Listen OP, there is only one way to do what you want to do; and that is tell them to their faces.

I don’t know how old you are or if you’re a graduate and working or still in school or if you still live with your parents.

If you’re still in school, they assume that you’re still a kid and must listen to and do all they say because they alone know what’s best for you.

If you’re already independent to some extent, they’ll still try but at the end of the day, they have to accept that you’re your own person now. You will make your own decisions and stand by them.

If you don’t already stand up to your parents, well now is the time to start. Standing up to them does not necessarily mean being rude to them but you shouldn’t be scared to say “I’m sorry but no” when they say or suggest somethings.

Religion is a personal choice and decision. Parents should stop forcing and pushing their children. You cannot force it down someone’s throat.

She never want to stay in her cage. The moment she is chained she starts making irritating sounds to frustrate the environment until she is unchained, then she starts messing the compound up. She is so stubborn that if flogged with stick she won’t cry; I use high tension wire to flog her now!

She rejects all kind of food without meat or fish. There were times she refused to drink ordinary water unless it was milky water

Loool yes! I have gone through that eating phase with my dog too. I don’t bother wasting time and money to cook anymore. I just put out dry dog food and go about my business. When I notice it’s been eaten, I put out another. There are times he will eat one cup of dog food for like two days and some other times, he eats immediately I put it out.

And he hates being in a cage too so I just made a small enclosure for him to roam when he’s locked in at night. Mine is a lhasa.

They do the most annoying thing but the moment he comes to lick my toes, I just smile.

Change the medicine to a different brand; You can get chewable deworming tablet. Also, don’t feed him water immediately after the drugs. Give him fish, or meat to chew on.

My dog has this annoying habit of throwing up after deworming. I know it’s a habit cos I’ve studied him.

When giving him the drug, I crush it and mix it with milk cos I know the drug is bitter and he fights and scratches me when I’m injecting it down his throat with a plunger.

After deworming him today, I mistakenly put out his food and water and he drank all the water in one go and has now thrown up the whole medicine.

Is there anything I can do to stop this or is there a more agreeable dewormer that the dog will happily chew?
