You can opt for Joint Venture with a reliable Developer.

You will meet an agreement (writing) on the sharing ration and probably Premium if there is going to be any.

InvestmentWhat Can I Do With A Piece Of Land To Generate Revenue? - Properties by Plomo(op):
I have a piece of land in a good dry area in lagos.

I can sell the land but that is the last thing in my list of options.

Now I need to know what I can do with the land to raise considerable funds.

I’ve been thinking of leasing but please, give and discuss your suggestions.

P.S I don’t want to use the land as collateral for a loan and I will sell but only if all other options are not favorable.

And I had started construction work on the land but stopped before reaching decking.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Pre-paid Meter Vs The Analogue Meter by Plomo: 10:45pm On Jul 23, 2021
When I had the postpaid meter, my freezer was on most of the time and my bill ranged from 5k to 6k, 7k per month…..until estimated billing started.

But with the prepaid meter, I find that when I don’t put on my freezer, I use the 200 units I buy for a solid 2.5 months. But it lasts barely a month if I use my freezer.

I use power saver bulbs and only put on the tv when I have visitors, asides that, it’s bulbs, fan, laptop, various chargers and the occasional pressing iron.

Afriqan:
I think it's utter bullocks to compare a country's GDP (total monetary value of goods and services within a country within a given year) with a company's value. That's basically comparing one economic instrument in a nation against a total value of a company, i.e. it's total assets, that's why you won't find economists doing this, instead, you'll find businessmen making these illogical comparison.

All the oil deposits, minerals and resources like Gold, Iron ore, Bitumen, Timber in each country were left out, so it doesn't really depict the total value of a country against the companies. Nigeria for instance would worth way more than Apple if the basis for comparison were same.

That story of government scrapping history from secondary schools is stale in this internet age. We are in the age where almost everything can be gotten from the internet. Many of us here knows about WW1 and 2, the history of america and her civil war, the Roman and Greece empire, the Byzantine empire, Napoleon the great. All these weren't taught in our schools yet we know them.. I know a lot of things about Nigeria history and I wasn't taught in secondary school.. I searched the internet, watched YouTube videos.

Nigeria youths should goan read about their history and stop blaming those old men but themselves. The fact you have a useless father is not an excuse to be useless in life.. Read.. Read... Read...
Quite a very valid point you have raised. I salute your thirst and hunger for knowledge but regardless, I maintain history should be taught in schools.

You have access to these resources does not mean every other youth has access to same resources.

Besides teaching history will start from the basic classes, the babies. Teaching them names of founding fathers, teaching them exploits of our celebrated ancestors. I recall in primary school, I read a snippet of Queen Amina the conqueror in a collection of stories we used to read in school then. I was curious as to how a woman could have fought wars, my small mind just shrugged it aside. It wasn’t until years later, I randomly stumbled on the full story again and my curious mind was awoken.

Teaching history is also good because there are people who only discover their love for history after years droning away. These people could have gone on to study history in school if they had been exposed to it earlier on.

Finally, there is no ethnic group in Nigeria that is without sin so also no ethnic group that does not have exploits to be celebrated and studied. I am igbo, I know where we don Bleep up but that does not mean I will sit down and celebrate ethnic cleansing.

Please, bad as e bad, let our kids know where they are coming from and the things that shaped their society as a whole.

History must be taught.

flokii:
You forgot to add how Igbos switched from enthroning North to organizing the first bloody Military coup that killed all Northern leaders and military officers, including Southerners from the West and Niger Delta region except the Igbos.

You forgot how Igbos spearheaded the death of regional government in Nigeria, with the likes of Ironsi, Azikiwe and co.

Maybe you should tell the OP how Igbos declared war on the Niger Delta for declaring their own republic and how Ojukwu went full force on them killing Adaka Boro's soldiers and even purchased a back door death sentence on Adaka Boro whose saving grace was the counter coup that killed Ironsi in barely six months after he took over.

The people of Niger Delta will never forget and I don't think they can forgive the Igbos for that.

History is good, it helps you to know where you're coming from and how to handle dicey situations.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Everyone is also entitled to seek out knowledge.

To plant this very seed of falsehood in their progeny was one of the many reasons teaching history was scrapped.

@op, seek out knowledge for yourself. That’s all.
PoliticsRe: Who Can Help Me With Books On The Biafra Civil War by Plomo: 4:30pm On Jul 20, 2021
•There was a country - Chinua Achebe
•Nigeria’s soldiers of fortune - Max Siollun
•Nigeria’s military coup culture(1966-1976) - Max Siollun
•Formation: The making of Nigeria from jihad to almagamation - Fola Fagbule

Start with these and you’ll understand why the north never wants a southerner, be it igbo or yoruba, in power. Understand why the northern policy makers scrapped the teaching of history and understand why gowon was a war criminal who oversaw genocide in a region.

Obi Cubana........ 96 million dollars

Sijibomi........... 400million

400-96 = 304million dollars difference.

Abeg, I am done grin
You keep shouting this nonsense but what is Sijibomi’s stake in the company?

I know for a fact that he founded Sujimoto through a partnership with real estate mogul, Mr. Yazeed Alrahji, Chairman of DAEM Real Estate Investment Company Saudi Arabia. So that’s a chunk out of 100% ownership gone.

But let’s not forget other investors because in 2017, he raised N1bn in a venture backed round, so that’s another chunk of ownership signed off. https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/sujimoto-construction/company_financials

And other private investments he uses to raise money for all his luxury projects will also take out a chunk of ownership.

As he’s still founder and CEO, we’ll assume he still has controlling shares. We’ll put it at 20%.

The company like you said is worth $400m, so Mr Sijibomi is worth $80m.

Not bad at all. That’s good money.

Anyway, get off your high horse and stop this foolish comparison with Cubana.

Let's wait and see. I've even said it before that with everything Obi Cubana did, he's silently inviting the attention of EFCC.

Men like Dangote and Otedola who are more wealthy than Obi Cubana, don't rain cash the way those who attended the burial of Obi Cubana's mum did.

It actually calls for concern though.
Otedola doesn’t rain cash but he bought 3 Portofinos at one go.

Una logic dey always tire person.
