Pataki:
Whatever my lot, God has taught me to say: IT IS WELL.

No matter what anyone may be going through, denial, betrayal, refusal, abuse, remember there is a GOD who listens to the heart cry of his own loved ones.

Prayer: God help me to continually abide in your will. Even when my thoughts go astray, help me Lord to find my path in you.
Amen! and Amen!
pataki,I'm loving you more and more everyday.
You've written so many encouraging words lately.

let him rot in jail if not for anything for getting away with murder and not keeping his mouth shut.
the man had a second chance but rather than lie low and live his life ,he was a big old fool.
let him go and sign autographs in a maximum security prison.
Stupidity has a price.

leaving his clipped toe nails on the floor sometimes.
splashing tooth paste on the bathroom mirror
leaving his dirty clothes on the bathroom floor
dropping soup on the carpet
splashing wee wee on the toilet seat
not remaking the bed after I've made it

love him all the same wink
After all these years and a million nags, I figured it ain't changing.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Single Mother In London Makes Nigeria Proud by plusQueen(op): 12:48am On Oct 06, 2008
LOL
A single mother living in a bad neighborhood who raised 7 kids and she has a lawyer.a doctor ,a nurse and a set of quadruplets in college is no easy accomplishment in any soceity.
In most families with that many children and 2 loving parents there's always one or two that turn out to be rogues.
News or no news she's done a swirl job.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Single Mother In London Makes Nigeria Proud by plusQueen(op): 12:41am On Oct 06, 2008
ruby, how many of such stories about Nigerians make it to the London news?
That's what makes it unique.
All the stories about our people is about crime and more crime and for major Newspapers and TV stations to carry this is a big deal even though we know it's common.
How many good stories have you heard here in the USA about Nigerians.
Besides 419 and militants in the NIger delta, what other Nigerian stories have you heard on CNN or ABC

really?
come to think of it which girl hasn't had several suitors all at one time?
but it's wrong to stream all 3 or 4 along.
that doesn't mean you'll chase the others away with a cutlass, that'll be rude.
If the others know you're taken and uninterested and they choose to keep pursuing you, that's their problem.
Honesty is the best policy

Tranngirls:
You are right. In any relationship we get into our initial actions always forms the way the other person in the
relationship sees us. Like a friend of mine was going out with three guys at the time. One(guyA) had a good
job, nice house and car (always gives her). Second (guyB) one is a student like her so just manages with her.
Third one(guyC) is more like a thug. GuyA always takes her to nice restaurant and eating joints and has not
had sex with her (but has kissed her on the cheek). GuyB has also takes her to nice places but not as
expensive as GuyA out-ins (has not ever touched her breast by accident). GuyC doesnt take her anywhere
whenever she comes back from see him she is also look rough and smiling. She behaves like a village girl
when she is around GuyC but like a girl that studied in the UK when she is with the other two guys. And guess
what GuyC has sex with her everytime she goes to see him and with any style he wants. The thing is that of the
three guys, GuyC didnt try to impress her when they met.
and women call men dogs?
what a three timing slut

wealth can be deceptive and fleeting
A good measure of a man that'll be a good provider is his intelligence
Does he have potentials?
Girls should stop focusing on the immediate and look at the longterm value of a man lipsrsealed

If you like dance kokoma from the white house to the twin cities , there's still no place like home.
You are still in a foreign land!
and if you don't go home as a grown man or woman you'll get there in a wooden box in the cargo compartment of United Airlines or Air France.

Ruby_Pearl:
ahh, says who?
Where you live matters o, plz.
Where you live is just as important as how you live.
Well, it depends. It depends on how safe, secure, and comfortable one is with his/her environment
You're right and the proud mother above is also right.
she didn't create her situation and she didn't let her bad neighborhood define her and her kids.
I'm sure she could have moved if she could.
Her story proves that failure is a thing of the mind not a product of our circumstances

You must be born again!

IslamRe: Is It Mandatory For Women To Wear Hijab by plusQueen: 11:28pm On Oct 04, 2008
ok O Ayinba
I have nothing against a hijab as long it's not forced on people.
That's what I'm against.
Muslim ladies that want to look well groomed and modern can do so
and no one should force them into any outfits
and of course no Muslims should force Christians in their territories to wear any type of clothing.

Look at this Igbo girl for instance, her hair is right, her outfit is decent and not offensive at all.
and she looks alive!
the girl I had above is very pretty but looks unhappy.

bumping back to the top. I really am interested in the answers to this thread.

By The Way I have asked this before and never really recieved any answers to this.
Why do you ask?
I already gave you answers
According to you, your Yoruba husband was an immigration arrangee that you claimed to "fall in love with" and married for real.
Your own story
His real motive initially was just papers.
Are you sure he ever changed from that?
Hmm!
For all you know he could have 2 wives and 8 kids somewhere in Akure.
My dear sista your own started on the wrong footing
Have you met his parents or siblings?
I'll hate for you to be part of what the poster is talking about.
Some men can be wicked like that.
