First of all, i will start by saying Non-Igbo supporters of Peter Obi really tried for him during the election period. For example, I as a yoruba man made many enemies because I supported Peter Obi. But that is in the past now.

The crux of this write up is that Peter Obi wasted a rare opportunity of utilizing the unity of Nigerians caused by Buhari's misrule to galvanize real change. Since he knew he will be cheated, why did Peter Obi not mend fences with the Igbo elites and perhaps his IPOB brothers to instigate some sort of uprising after should he be cheated? I attribute that to the disorganization and powerless position igbos have found themselves in Nigeria. Igbos are confused, disorganized, defeated and disoriented in handling their regional and collective affairs in Nigeria. Most Igbos are now refugees in other regions having fled their own region due to conflict. Their wahala is a self-inflicted one because they are a very arrogant and disunited people. I know Peter Obi won that election but he is a small boy to Tinubu and he cannot fight him in any way, shape or form. It is a sad reality we all have to deal with. State capture is real.

As for the case in Court, having read the final written address by Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) i can categorically state that the petition will be dismissed because there is no way that any Court of law will rule in favor of Peter Obi given the plethora of legal and evidentiary issues plaguing Peter Obi's petition as dissected in that final written address (I urge every interested person to read and digest that Final Written Address). The doctrine of covering the field was used to block all legal loopholes in Tinubu's case and he is well guarded. I cannot wait for the response from Obi's legal team and i can confidently preempt their written address by stating that they wont have any cogent points but to try and distinguish the legal authorities cited by Olanipekun & APC's legal team. Tinubu has Peter Obi cornered already and there is no escape for Obi.

Even if there were no legal issues bedeviling the Peter Obi's petition, the Courts will still rule against Peter Obi and nothing will happen. Peter Obi does not have any extensive network, neither does he come from a strong region which can trouble Nigeria. Heck, even Igbo elites are not on his side because as a people, Igbos dont just have any leverage in Nigeria. They cannot shake things up.

I know Igbos and Obidients (mainly made up of IPOB remnants now since other non-igbos have left the movement) will insult me for saying the truth but the truth must still be said.

My advice is for everybody to move on and not hope for any favorable judgment from the Court. The petition will be dismissed with punitive costs for being frivolous, speculative and time wasting.

Wishing everyone a nice week ahead.

This final address is mentally stimulating. There is a reason why Wole Olanipekun is the best lawyer in Nigeria when it comes to election matters.

That man is brilliant! The address tackled the petition from every angle possible: etymologically, logically and legally. The address, even for the case of argument, assumed some of the petitioners' arguments and still contests the legally and the logicality of those arguments.

Mehn , people are good in this country. I hope LP's lawyers will impress me too.
Idiot. He is one of the dullest lawyers in Nigeria. Wole only bribes judges to win cases. Yorubas and mouth-making.

ezebunafo:
FOR THE SAKE OF PEACE AND TRANQUILLITY LET MAZI NNAMDI GO HOME.

Iam appealing to His Excellency, PBAT to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu so as to kickstart a genuine reconciliation across Nigeria. Despite the obvious and painful truth that no Igbo man or woman has ruled Nigeria since end of the civil war in 1970, Despite the obvious and painful truth that Igbo Nation has not played better politics in Nigeria since 1970, May we never forget that Nigeria used to stand on a tripod , Eastern Region, Western Region and Northern Region before Mid Western Region was added. Despite the killing of Igbo by Igbo, the killing of law enforcement officers, the burning of police formations and peoples homes by IPOB, ESN and UGM I appeal to PBAT to release Nnamdi Kanu for sake of peace and tranquillity in the embattled zone and Nigeria as a whole. I am a victim of Nnamdi Kanu’s terror gang in the South East but I have forgiven all in the interest of peace and harmony in the South East and Nigeria. Let us make a way for Justice , equity and fareplay to return to Nigeria. When there is Justice, there will be peace and when there is peace, there will be progress. This is the law of nature.

PBAT’s greatest achievements will be to reconcile Nigerians and bring all to the fold so that we may be as one. Once that is achieved every other thing will fall into play. Peace is better than war. The Holy says we should seek peace by all means. Let us forgive and forget . I love Nigeria passionately. I love Nigerians. East, West , North or South. I am proudly Nigerian.

This is a message for those people that don't always bow for people as they claim while good wills pass them bye as a result of arrogance and chest beating. Sit-at-Home and insecurity in alaigbo is as a result of arrogance, sturboness, lack of respect to elders and chest beating of kanu and Ekpa. Kanu and Ekpa never listen to Igbo elders, they are too sturbbon.

Even when kanu got opportunity to denounce and use wisdom to embrace peace after jumping bail, his chest beating and arrogance finally landed him into prison. Despite all chest beating of Isreal, UK, USA and UN are coming to grant us Biafra and support Biafra with amunitions; unfortunately, till today no nation including UK has no time for him. He used that rubbish talks to deceive many brainless Biafrans to donate to him. Now, no refund of money and no Biafra in sight despite having killed Igbos by igbos. What a loss?

Reactions As Photos Of President Tinubu's Etiquette Greeting To Oba Of Benin Surfaces

Benin man go say Oba gha to kpere, Isee! It is often translated as "May the king live long, Amen" in English. The phrase conveys respect and well-wishes for the longevity and prosperity of the king....

The pretender no. 1. Will that stop him from looting? Person that does not respect Nigerians and some IDIOTS are praising his pretence. NARCOTICS PUSHER.

Hmm, this photo of the president and Commander in Chief, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is currently trending as the president was spotted greeting the revered Oba in such a way.

Wow! Nigerians are so excited about the humility of the president, which he has shown in greeting the great Oba of Benin, Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II when he, alongside other traditional rulers from Edo State, paid the president a visit at the State House in Abuja.

Our president's actions have sparked numerous comments praising his respect for the monarch, further highlighting the president as a true embodiment of African values.

One respondent, @ProudNaijaCitizen, commented, "This is the kind of leadership we need in our country. President Tinubu's humble gesture towards the Oba of Benin reflects the honor and respect we should show to our traditional institutions. Kudos to our president for upholding our cultural heritage!"

🌟 Let us take a moment to appreciate this awe-inspiring photo that showcases President Tinubu's profound respect for the revered Oba of Benin. His display of humility reflects the essence of our African upbringing and cultural heritage. 🌍🇳🇬

When you talk about religious tolerance, Yoruba as a tribe is the symbol of unity. There are 1000 ways to divide yorubas, politically. Religious partition, marginalisation, and sentiment are not one of them. The ploy is destined to fail even before it kicks off.
Yoruba is not just a tribe, it is a way of life.
