Politics / Re: Seun You Are Very Biased On Your Decision by PointB: 2:17pm On Apr 01, 2023 |
Criticism of Tinubu is not tribalism. Tinubu is separate from the good people of Yoruba. Tinubu is a convicted drug money bag, an identity thief, a forger, a perjurer, a bastard, and an election rigger all rolled into one. He should be cooling off his feet in a penitentiary if Nigeria laws works. 1 Like 1 Share |

ghiloman28: I don't know who is organising the killing in the SE. I have never heard the court convict anyone of those people, let alone say they are of IPOB. Kanu the leader of IPOB in Nigeria custody, and he's not convicted of any crime. So I don't buy your propanganda about IPOB being killers, go sell it to someone else. Nigeria security services has a history of planting bombs, and killing civilians and blaming it on oppositions. If in doubt go and find out about a certain Sergent Rogers and Al Mustapha, in the early days of NADECO. |

Darren95: Protect them. Not attack anyone if I get him right. I think the fact that citizens are resorting to private security measures is an indicative of failure of the state to protect them, and their interest. Maybe he should have invited OPC. |

Politics / Re: Section 299 Of NIG Constitution Confirmed Abuja As 37th State by PointB: 11:03am On Mar 31, 2023 |
MrColdsweat: Let's even for the sake of argument say that the constitution recognise FCT as a state , the AND on it's own is a conjunction. It says whatever else you might have achieved in the election you MUST obtain 25% vote cast in FCT. Whether FCT is a state or Capital Territory is, for the purpose of the conjunctive clause, immaterial. I see no way out for Tinubu in the case, unless there is a miscarriage of justice. 1 Like 1 Share |

Abdulmumin412: Middle Belt are Middle Belt. Check their voting pattern. The Middle Belt Forum are part of those who supported power shift to the SE. They are of distinct identity from the Hausa/Fulani North. Check Nigeria map. Look carefully, if you understand cardinal point you will see that Taraba and Benue state are in the cardinal point South East Nigeria (South East is Opposite South West on the same plain). They have nothing in common with Sokoto and Kastina, not even language.

alanto: Jandor did not hustle enough for votes. He didn't do enough campaign. Why did you think Sanwo Olu had to resort to ethnic bigotry, suppression, and violence to rig the election? It cos the votes didn't belong to him and he had to manipulate the process out of fear of losing. In a free and fair election, Sanwo Olu would have lost! Votes don't belong to anyone, you have to convince the people to vote for you, unless they are mindless zombies. |
Politics / Re: Where Exactly Did APC Rig The Election? by PointB: 5:36pm On Mar 30, 2023 |

Aquila99: Ok. So what the INEC/court will do is to determine who came first and second. And the two will face off in a run off election, where simple majority win will be the tie breaker. |

Zonefree: Agbado aka Corn is my favorite dessert. I once read one Agbadorian suggesting that 85% of Nigerian forest be mowed down and used to plant Agbado. I thought to myself, this guy must have Agbado for a brain. Did he consider the ecological disaster such might cause? Clearly not, cos he's just an Agbadorian. |
Politics / Re: What Constitutes Ethnic Slur On Nairaland? by PointB: 11:58am On Mar 30, 2023 |
Still waiting for the clarification. It's going to be really difficult as task to list them. For example some might argue that Aboki, Afonja, IPOB are all ethic slurs. I disagree. Aboki means my friend, Afonja was a legendary Yoruba warrior who took a different path, while IPOB refer to an organisation created by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. So it's a tricky one, but as the Op has taken the case to the 'Tribunal', it's best we wait for their judgment, as law abiding people. |
