Demdem: Igbos are wonderful peeps and an example is Berem whom i appreciated earlier. however just like any other tribe we also have the opposite. its not an igbo thing hypocriteYou slated Odunnu, Ujchief and Wesley80? And when I pointed out their names you insisted you wont apologise because they are Igbos. Are you just a bigoted thug or just a Retardeen? |
Sagamite: OP, this is what impresses you? Those who live in the dark have seen a sparkle. How wont they be impressed! ![]() |
Demdem: Apologise for what and to who? ur fellow igbo cabalsSo you wont apologise to them because they are Igbos, or because ... ? |
lagerwhenindoubt: Quoted - It is expected that when you fight power, it fights back Nov 19 2012 Sowore (Sahara Reporters)Why don't you start by giving us a list of country whose FEC cabinet have gloomy faced people, and then continue by posting minutes of such country FEC meeting. |
Demdem: hypocrite, u said u dont deserve the nomination. its written by u for all to see.Is that how you are going to apologize for slating those good fellows, eh Retardeen? Are you that shameless, Retardeen? |
9ja_I_hail: @PointB The issue is dead as long as you are courageous enough to wave it out. All that is needed is to make sure the good candidate win.Who is the good candidate? His name is Afam4ever.Thank you my brother. |
Demdem: I agree with u. Those that nominated u seems to be dumb.come on, a whole hypocrite like u. The same set of people that voted for the retardeen when its a well known fact that he failed miserably in a lesser executive position in bayelsa. Arseholess.Odunnu, Wesley, and Ujchief nominated me. Well, I believe they have their reason, and beyond that, they are well cultured people. So go fish for trouble elsewhere Mr. Retardeen, the shameless thug! |
Okija_juju: So you wont appeal your disqualification at the tribunal?!Quit it already. People will start thinking that something is wrong somewhere. Like I said, I don't deserve been voted as Poster of the Year, what exactly have I done to merit such? Besides, I have never never asked that my ban be reversed. I only ask to see the comments that resulted in the ban - just to satisfy my curiosity. And I have since realized that the MOD either is incapable of providing it for technical reason, or he feels it will expose his hypocrisy in not banning worse offenders like Gbawe whose shameful tango with Desola and co is there for everyone to see, well everyone except Jarus. By like I said, let's move on. Let's support Jarus nonetheless. Fair enough? |
Okija_juju: Nwokem, this has nothing to do with Eze Ndi Igbo elections o!!Guy if you went through any shiit, honestly am not aware. I believe you had so much fun in those Eze Ndi Igbo thread.Perhaps you should thank me for helping you provide a platform to raise your stock. Anyway, no wahala sha. As for supporters, I don't need anyone making an issue out this. Frankly speaking, I dont even know what I have done to deserve been called the Politic Section Poster of the year. So frankly speaking, I feel no sense of loss or injustice. So guy, let it rest abeg. I am only responding to this to help you understand my point of view. |
Pls let quit derailing this thread. Make your nominations in bold and enjoy the thread. Keep your chit-chat as short as possible, to enable the mod pick them up. Pls my brother 9ja_I_hail let's forget about the ban Jarus handed me, it just part of the price we pay for been ourselves no more no less. He is the NOD and he set the rule, so let play by it. |
Okija_juju: My vote goes to Afam4eva..I agree Afam4eva will make a good candidate for poster of the year. He gets my vote if my preferred candidate Spyder does not get enough votes. By the way, Okija_juju, quit derailing the thread. I have made my point long ago, and just enjoying the thread. Why are you still carrying the bitterness of past Eze Ndi Igbo election in your heart. Get over it bros, na wa for you oo. |
I think I will pitch my tent with Professor Barth Nnaji for hall of fame, for lighting up Nigeria tunnel of darkness with his well tailored Power Reform Process in the hall of shame. I think the hypocritical pastor - Bakare Tunde, whose volte face to join the 'tall one' (Buhari) after insisting his is "not the messiah" is about as hypocritical as it gets. I also believe his botched 'regime change' campaign masked as fuel subsidy protest presents him as cunning, power hungry man, who use God as a cover for his Machiavellian scheming! Tunde Bakare belongs squarely in the hall of shame! |
@op, When you fight 'power', power fights back. Gradually, Nigerians are been exposed to some of the ills of the country, craftily hide from her by several sinister cabal lurking around in the corridors of power. Operations clean Nigeria has started will all these exposure. I trust that the GEJ cabinet have enough fire-power and will-power to clean the system. More revelations, of the endemic corrupt system operated in the past in the dark will certainly be brought to light and dealt with. |
Demdem: Jarus, I didn't do as much as this tout up here yesterday before u raised the hammer on me. Kindly put this toad in his place if he can't go to the complaint thread. Wettin be this now, or u WAN make I help u.Retardeen my friend, but you kissed his ar.se when he rammed you yesterday. Why choose now to whine or are you no longer enjoying been banned as collateral damage? |
We don shout tire! |
The budget is made up of N63.56Ultimately, a much higher percentage of the budget should be targeted at capital project. 67% is fair enough though. Not bad! |
Billyonaire: EFCC should be scrapped, ICPC should also be scrapped. Their budgetary allocation should be handed over to the Police and the Military Police. EFCC and ICPC are just external police posts with branding. Infact, EFCC is more corrupt than corruption itself.I wonder oo. Was it not the same EFCC through Ribadu that said Tinubu's fraud is of international proportion, only for the later to band with the latter in an unholy unproductive political alliance. |
FreeGlobe: Gbawe lets start from home https://www.nairaland.com/1120280/looting-lagos-tinubu-fasola-exposedAnd you expect the Resident Hypocrite to take the gauntlet and critcize with the same venom his paymaster and lord - Tinubu? Man, that's asking to much. Who will fund his next Ghana trip if he does that? ![]() |
taharqa: Very stu.pid editorial by what is increasing looking like a Bought board at Punch, who seem to hv alignd and is serving sm political interests. Yea, without a doubt that #2.2billion for the villa's banquet is wasteful and silly (as i said when d info was postd here sm time ago) and d FG deserves all the reprimands it gets on that particular move. But to now use this particular one to mk blanket, irresponsible and incorrect statements is wrong. Sm goons here eg @Gbawe are already mking silly claims, and even normally reasonable critics like @take dat is talking about '..this been the greatest mistake' blabla on this issue (given d impression that dis govt is worst ever in terms of fiscal discipline and profliglancy). This is silly... These are the FACTS: this govt has stopped and then is reversing every indicator of cost of governance and wasteful spendings that have been increasing at least since 1999; i mean, every one of those main indicators- It has almost halved OVERHEAD cost from about #526billion which it met in 2010 to about #230billion two yrs later; it has reducd d Recurrent budget from an incredible 77.1% in 2010 to an honestly still high 68.7% proposd nx yr; it has reducd Deficit as a % of GDP from 3.3% in 2010 to 2.7% dis yr and proposd 2.17% (way below d legal binding 3% which oda govts exceeded many times) nx yr- and these indicators wud continue to decrease each yr cos of many reforms midwifed by NOI and the implementatn of Oronsaye's report ... GEJ and FEC made a decision to spend #2b to build a banquet hall, a decision that was unsound, insensitive and which i DONT agree with; but to extend dis and mk it look like dis is d most wasteful govt in history is very, very unfair and completely wrong. We can strongly disagree with a particular decision without having to unduely politicize itThank you jare. No mind the bigots who have infested this thread. |
Sincere 9gerian: I'm not too bothered about the fake outcry of corruption by Punch and those outside of govt. The ROOT CAUSE of corruption in Nigeria is SHARING OF FREE OIL MONEY. Right from the Nzeogwu coup, the reason for wanting to replace a sitting govt has ALWAYS been allegation of corruption. But somehow, we ended up WORSE OFF with successive govt. The Punch and El Rufai SUPER STORY of corruption growing monstrously under GEJ is not any different from the SUPER STORY of corruption growing monstrously in the first republic told by Nzeogwu and co in Jan 1966- which was why the said they said they struck. Only FOOLS will be carried away by such SUPER but SILLY STORIES. As for me, I have grown WISER with age. What matters to me in this current dispensation is not an INTANGIBLE fight against corruption. Rather, what matters to me are TANGIBLES like- the power sector reforms to guarantee stable power supply, construction of power plants, construction of highways, construction of power transmission and distribution facilities, construction of new higher institutions, equipping of hospitals, building of 2nd Niger bridge, etc, etc. These are the TANGIBLES that I care about and if GEJ continues with the SLOW BUT STEADY progress in these TANGIBLES, the likes of El Rufai and PUNCH can go to hell.Succinctly put. What we have running around these days, led by the nose by their commander in hypocrisy - the Resident Hypocrite of Nairaland - Gbawe, is a pack of underpaid hacks whose ethically bigoted world view naturally guarantee that deny a man his good works just to make him look bad. The annoying thing is that these goons think that silence of well balance fellows who understand the challenges of delivering democratic dividends in this bastardize country and rather prefer to give the government adequate time and understanding to turn things around, is a license for them to run their mouths like bus conductors. Let me re-state, the current government have done more than the past one to cut down cost of governance and is still doing same. The ethically and party motivated bigotry and propaganda not withstanding, GEJ's remain one best government we have had in recent time. That is a fact! |
9ja_I_hail: Sure we are rounding up this weekend hopefully i can find time to draft all written and accepted rules. Meanwhile PointB i will need your help during the time of drafting the rules as afam present here is very scarce. No problem about the draft, I am also thinking of compiling same. So we can work together via email to do the reconcile the compilation. My comment about Eze Nwayi position not being subject to election is not for this term. I mean after the incoming, maybe we should not make the position an elected one. My reason is in line with Eze OnlyTruth's fear that we might end up have two captains in same ship - with election of Eze and Eze Nwayi. If the two agrees, it will be fine, but if they dont agree it will be a divided house. So basically, it might be instructive not to elect future Eze Nwayi directly. We can use a system of 'running mate' or allow the incoming Eze to choose their Eze Nwayi after their election. It's just my opinion anyway. That said, I buy your idea as per the role of Eze Nwayi. |
excondido: when u r nt sure u stay mute. no amount is too big to fight d monster that have come to stay. Why not then we use the whole federation budget to fight corruption, since no amount is too small. |
9ja_I_hail: PointB,The above comment captured my mind. I will only add that Eze nwanyi's role/duty need to be defined. Please let come up with the ideas what her role/duty should be.Thanks. Not sure what the Eze Nwayi role should or should not be. But I am beginning to think (alongside Eze OnlyTruth) that it should not be by election. Will try and come up with a proposal. Either way, let's all try to round up this by this weekend. |
Not sure how EFCC runs their operations, but N21 Billion Naira is a princely sum. I support the cut! |
9ja_I_hail: @Jaru,It is very unfair how you guys handle this NL especially politic section. PointB deserve to be banned for speaking his mind and fighting for what he believed to be his right? Now i have a question for you Jaru, what actually is definition of politics? My brother, Abeg let's let it rest. I am not pursuing the matter beyond stating my point, and also letting him (Jarus) know that I cannot be moved by bans. It's those who don't have a life outside Nairaland that worry about being banned for expressing themselves. I have also established my point it it makes him feel good (and powerful in a sadistic way) to anyone who queries his judgement. Perhaps it's a fulani thing, perhaps it's a jarus thing, one cannot be sure. But one thing, I would ask is that we let it rest. Let's nominate our choices for the politics section poster of the year and hope for the best. Thanks man. |
djustice: Are Ogun State people this gullible? They are very proud of their achievements of their cultist son. He has delivered steels and scraps they can see. Wonderful! ![]() |
aribisala0: I do not know whether or not the guy is working/performing but there really is not enough info on those pictures to draw any objective conclusions. The photo with him in the pit holding a trowel is ridiculous and all those photo's detailing "achievements" are not even worthy of a Local Government AreaNow that's putting it mildly. Those prancing up and down rejoicing at those mediocre showing, have you stopped to wonder if it's rocket science to 'purchase' vehicles (of any type) with the intention of using it for a purpose? Have you checked if those vehicles have been used for such purpose? Buy the way, wasn't it same picture the resident hypocrite posted some months ago? By now one would have expected to see those things in action. So gentlemen and ladies, look again, this time slowly and critically at what Amosun is doing in Ogun state and decide if he indeed deserves a pat on the back, or a hot slap on the cheek for such cheeky showings! |
Oya now, where are the 'laughers' una don tire? ![]() |
Okija_juju: Silently what?!I dey laugh too. Like baba Obj. lol |
Okija_juju: Point B.... Na you be this?!!!!!!!My brother, I beg you can dance jor. Make I follow u dance too. lol In fact I dey do gam gam style. https://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mccib8YcyX1r6vd05o1_500.gif |
I think I have made my point. And that is: despite his posturing, Jarus has designed this Poster of the year award to favour his candidates, the people he likes. And I have also been vindicated in my assertion that Jarus would prefer to ban those who ask him hard questions rather than offer logical explanations, if that is not bigotry in action I wonder what is then. So oga Jarus, go ahead and crown saint Gbawe already, there is no need for formality. What a charade! |
