Turning and turning in the widening gyre. The falcon cannot hear the falconer; The centre cannot hold; Interesting... |
The hash tag #Biafra is trending today in Nigeria at no 1, and Igbos at no 3. Where are the doubting Thomases?
|
Atk1nson:You have no idea who I am or where I have been! |
asha80:Actually, you don't know what you are talking about. But this thread is not about me or you, it's about something much bigger than this squabble. So I'll let you continue speculating where I am or not. It's immaterial and won't matter when Biafra is achieved! Besides, we will all have to make certain sacrifice before, during, and after Biafra is achieved. |
asha80:The fact of the matter is that you don't know for certain where I am based. So quit your unnecessary speculations and discuss things you are very certain of. I recall telling you this a while ago. ![]() |
asha80:And you know this how? |
asha80:Freedom is more important than money. I have seen countries shut down for weeks to drive home their point. When Lagosians wanted to die for free petrol, they were at Ojota for days, and Lagos didn't collapse! |
Rochas is not an Igbo leader, he's only acting APC script! He's afraid the "Biafra Harmattan" will scorch him! It's not enough not to like the idea of Biafra, the question is "What's he bringing to the table?" |
In any case, we mostly don't respect the opinion of the turn-coat Rochas. |
The people want to be free; they want Biafra! Rochas said the aspiration of his people is a distraction, what kind of leader speaks like that? If Rochas and Ohaneze cannot offer the people what they want, I'm afraid they have lost their relevance, and should make way for those in tune with reality. Sovereignty belongs to the people, not to the so-called leaders! A good leader must first listen, and then guide, not impose his will on the people! |
lygn19:You should. Revolution is started by folks such as us. We are usually considered ignorant, insane, and irrational. But sometimes, the difference between insanity and ingenuity is often blurred. The end usually justify the means. Keep sitting on the fence; keeping pointing fingers while we make or mar your future! |
EternalTruths:Thank you my brother. That's why we must not panic, or cower in the face of threats. This is 21st century, the dynamics have change completely, armed conflicts can be sustained for far longer, and it usually more destructive. Nigeria would be wise to talk now, rather than fight later. As for we Biafrans, "what is dead may never die!" |
asha80:Nigeria will not survive an armed conflict either, especially if Biafran war planner have the foresight to declare as enemy those who willing habour and allow Nigeria army pass into her territory. The refugee crisis that will be generated by such war will not be limited to Biafran alone. It's better to avoid war by listening to the cries for freedom, but to say we shouldn't agitate for freedom for Biafra is to be oblivious to the yearning of Biafran; it is to say we should die in fear of the unknown in the face of oppression. Sorry but we are not coward, and again, all men must die! |
asha80:Actually, the bolded is your opinion. As we speak, there is an armed rebellion going on in Syria. The 'rebels' are openly asking for weapons, and they are getting it. There are other examples, so please stick to what you are certain of. International politics is as defined by the interest of the big and small players. To answer your question, Igboland don't need an armed conflict, but Igboland must be ready to defend herself in case of an armed conflict, which the 'body language' of the incumbent is suggesting. And one of the best way to prevent such is by MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction. Biafrans must be fully armed, and must be ready to take the fight to Nigeria territory, as that's the best means of discouraging an armed conflict. MAD is what is keeping Russians and US from having a go at each other. Those who seek freedom must not be afraid of death as all men must die! The foolish governors must first make way for those who are in tune with the reality of time for this to happen. And if you agree Buhari made a mistake arresting him, why are you against his release? The foolish president must de-escalate the situation by releasing Kalu and offering talks! Otherwise, he'll spend more money buying weapons rather than improving infrastructure - that's a recipe for failure. |
Eve0000:It's not about bloodshed it's about freedom from the cesspit called Nigeria, it's about separation from the zoo! So far the protest has been largely peaceful, but I fear tolerance has a limit, every organism have breaking point. Right now, we don't know who will fire the first shot. But as Biafrans, we must hope for the best, while preparing for the worst! The Zoogerians can be very foolish sometimes, especially now they have a dullard for president! |
Goke7:I think you are the joke, seriously. Where were you when the duara dullard was on Aljazeera offering to negotiate with Shekau and his Boko boys? By the way, if the the duara dullard was a pedophile, what's wrong calling him that? |
asha80:He solicited for weapons right? Well I have news for you, the Niger Delta militants were armed to the teeth, they killed, kidnapped and caused economic sabotage, but today they are powerful men if not power brokers! And if current FG have the their they are ready to offer Shekau similar package as they did the militants. So Kanu publicly asking for weapons is not a big deal, even if he fires one. Or is it because he's an Igbo with a message? |
asha80:The protesters are not violent, not faceless, they are peaceful and have made demands. There demand should be taken seriously by the elected leaders (ala Fayose style). But hiding behind some offices, and pretending they are miscreants won't help the issue. Ipeazu neutrality, as well Umahi disdain and Rochas dismissive posturing will not solve the problem; and the problem will not just go away with time. Nnamdi Kalu should be released, and negotiation with the agitators should begin in earnest. If the protests turns violent, more violence will be required to quell it, and only God knows how that will pan out. And sincerely, I don't see how that will help the government (State and FG). Violence itself cost lot of money by the way, and the State pay more for violence than non-state actors! |
It's a grass root driven protest ( a bottom up approach). Sooner or later those standing by the fence, and those opposing it will join force and help bring the aspiration to fruition. Sovereignty belongs to the people; the elites know this, and would be very careful not go against the trend. Rochas are you listening - you can't stop the will of the people!! |
This crap on FP? What's the message? |
Abeg Muslims should go and discuss this in Islam for Islam section. We are not interested. |
They could be kissing for all you know. I don't trust any politician or their wives! ![]() |
Sweetguy25:Do you think those shameless liars need excuse? ![]() |
Abeg sell them to Yorubads. Igbos have wised up now. Real Estates are more profitable in Ala Igbo now than anywhere else by the way. |
Good move. Finally, something original (hopefully) and good from APC. |
Aufbauh:True and most of those debts were accumulated by APC governed Sates, Lagos especially. |
Hops is also used for brewing Malts - Malta Guinness, Maltina etc. So if you desire xanthohumol, you can get it from Malta Guinness and avoid the side effects associated with Alcohol consumption. And of course you can use Hops in brewing other local herbal drinks. |
gurunlocker:They are confused in that presidency, from the duara dullard to the least of the APC official. yeye things. |
[s] Bolade005:[/s] Says an ignoramus. ![]() |
Who cares who's done what. Association of Political Crooks (APC) or whatever the call themselves these days should fix the darn thing for the benefit of Arewanistan, Oduanistan and whoever follows them. As for me and my family, we await the dawn of the rising sun. #freeNnamdiKanu #freebiafra ! |
