Beremx: Chanchit:I think both of you are either very clueless or simply failing to admit the fact. No NIGERIA police station can easily process 500 surrendering activists even in 48hrs, and when the 500 are spontaneous across all the police stations in the region, the system will collapse. That is what IPOB should do if they have the organizational and operational ability. It's a game changer! |
Sant1m:Whoever become President won't be President for life, so it doesn't really matter! As for the political elite, usually they won't support such. But if the grassroot support becomes overwhelming, and seeping out to the fore, they'll find themself swimming against the tide. No politician can survive without grassroot support, especially as the era of rigging continue to become distant past. The people are the determinant not the political parties. In anycase, PDP is a national party, the Biafra agitation predates PDP, and will still be there when the last of PDP founder dies, and the underlying current driving the schism is not properly addressed. |
Chanchit:Read again, I know meany of you can think outside the box. PointB: |
Beremx:As usual you fail to get the point. Which Nigeria police station can arrest and process 500 people who have willfully surrender even if they are murderers, let alone activists? While at it, which one can do it if every police station in the area is besieged with another 500 willing to do same. This is a classic denial of service attack, if I must lecture you! |
boxer022:The state in question is in Nigeria, unless were you agree with the fact that we are talking about an area in the Zoo reserved for baboons or some kind of primitive hominid. If we still refer to the geographical entity as Nigeria, the people are not going anywhere until the country disintegrate. What they need to do is to enforce their constitutional rights against those motivated by inferiority complex and laziness! |
So if I create I create an Association as recognised by the constitution, and part of the rules state that the leader of the Association will be called "Eze " and he may choose to wear a royal garb and crown as part of the apparatus of his office, you mean that's against the law? Even when he's not demanding recognition or acknowlegment from anyone not associated with his association? I think the Eze-Ndi Igbo in Akure should disregard the Dejo's thoughtless speech. Freedom of association is not his to revoke. He has no such powers!! |
Imagine flooding each and every police posts in the SE/SS region with at least 500 IPOD members and volunteers willing to be arrested and charged for treason. IPOD members can make it more dramatic by tying their hands and marching peacefully to the nearest police station and offer themselves for arrest. All they had to to is to ensure there are enough media coverage - local and international. The question is, can the a typical police station in Nigeria arrest and process even 500 people in 48 hours? Multiply this number across all police posts in the region. This arrests can work in IPOD favor if they try this option. Biafra want to be free, you can't arrest millions of determined people! |
It's quite simple. Let 5,000 IPOD members march to the police station to admit same offense and get arrested, while another 5,000 get ready. How many people can the police arrest? A whole nation of activists? |
This APC people are very confused. From Saraki to Buhari. They don't know what they are doing. ![]() |
Dele Mumuni is right. Looking at the lion size loot he stole from Rivers' treasury, Ameachi can't be anything less than the Lion of Africa Looters! |
Keneking:One baboon spotted! ![]() |
Hehehehehe I know for sure that, just like the Ikwerres, the Owerri, Awka, and Aba people are not Igbos. ![]() |
Ioannes:Sure war is not the answer, that's why we keep saying referendum. But if war becomes inevitable, rest assured it will get to your abode. You will remember I told you so. |
Ioannes:Don't be too sure where the war would be fought. In war, territories often change hand, and the one with better weapons, motivation, and strategy may succeed. Biafran war commanders will know the importance of taking the war to the enemies, those who harbour them, and those who give them free pass to Biafran territories. Neutrality must mean, not supporting any side, and not habouring them and not allowing them to pass through your land or airspace to the other side. For instance if Nigeria army are encamped in say your father's house, supplied through your uncle's village, and commanded in your in-laws place - all these places will be declared as enemy territories and the war must be taken to them. They must feel the impact of the war! The war will not be fought in Igboland, it will be fought anywhere Nigeria army are hosted or encamped. And it will be total! |
@Op, What Nigeria need is to conduct referendum in the SE as whole and in SS LGAs to determine if they wish to remain in Nigeria or not. Absent this, the situation you witnessed in the salon will continue to escalate across the country and very soon explode in our faces. Then it will be too late to control the conflagration. War is not always the solution, but it's also not best to remove any option from table in pursuit of peace, equity, and justice. If Nigeria were to go to war with say Cameroon, I am sorry I will not fight let alone die for Nigeria. Nigeria is too useless for anyone to lay his life down for; such will be waste. But Biafra is a different ball game; it's romantic ideas of equity, peace, a fairness is worth a real shot; a real fight! It's an idea that will never die! |
hehehehe This sh*(#^&@t is real! ![]() |

The monarch noted that the Eze Ndigbo refused to carry out his order to eject illegal traders from Mojere market. So the Dejo wanted Eze Ndi Igbo (a spokesman) to eject illegal traders from a market. Apologies, but it does look to me that this Dejo is indeed a clueless clown who doesn't know what he's about. Is the Eze Ndi Igbo a law enforcement officer? Is that what he was appointed to do? No wonder the Dejo is ranting like a rabid dog. He it was who assumed unnecessary powers for the Eze Ndi Igbo, only to come back and rant about disrespect! |
To me the Dejo and the touts he brought to maltreat someone who honoured his invitation missed the opportunity to represent themselves as cultured people. The Eze Ndigbo title holder is a spokesman chosen by his people to represent their interests, hence the barbarism exhibited by that Dejo and his touts has no place in any civilized society; he desecrates his own throne, and disrespects himself by maltreating an invited guest. I suggest the Eze Ndi Igbo or whoever speaks for Ndi Igbo in the area refuses to honour any invitation that is not accompany with safety assurance. When the barbaric Dejo doesn't have any representative to talk to again, I wonder how he will exercise his thuggish control when civil and criminal suits are slammed at him by unaligned individuals. |
He accused them of violating the tradition of the ancient capital of Ondo State. All I keep hearing is vague accusations. What exactly did Igbos do to violate whatever was violated? Was there any effort to highlight those "tradition and culture" and it importance to all and sundry? Is it only the Igbos that violated these traditions? What about the others or are they saints or their violation of the rules are not as important as what Igbos are accused of? In any case, if several of people violate certain rule(s), does it not mean that such rules need to be reviewed in tandem with reality? |
Olusanya said the Eze Ndigbo “uttered some uncomplimentary words such as ‘your people caused the problem,’ ‘King Solomon had advisers, I can only advise you and if you like it you take it and if you don’t like it you don’t take it’.”So the bolded are the crux of the matter? That he asked the Oba to either accept or reject his advice, and he answered a call (probably an emergency call) in-front of the Dejo? Looks to me that the Dejo and his people are indeed the cause of the problem. They could have handled this issue more maturely. But they made a mountain out of mole hill. |
How about Fashola? When are they arresting him? |
Bottom line is this. Many yorubas who praise Fashola are happy, because they think they have a smart thief. I pity the duara dullard though, unless he ups his game, he won't know what hit him with all these smart thieves hanging around him. ![]() |
Let's give him 100 years to fix Nigeria! ![]() |
It is NOT a "structured attack." - Duara Dullard! ![]() |
Relax Nigerians, unstructured attacks don't kill. Only structured ones do! - Duara dullard |
According to him “the Deji called me around 8.48pm last sunday inviting me to his palace and I honoured his invitation on monday morning. I went with one of my Chiefs, but when I got to the palace, I saw youths numbering over 200 who started shouting as I entered. I suspected that the youths were mobilized by the monarch and I showed respect to the Deji by prostrating for him.So what happens if the next person refuses to honour invitation by this Dejo? Cos sensible people now know better than honour invitation, especially with such savagery on display. |
They'll only threaten to secede if there are no Igbo shops to lock. ![]() |
